I think that if Assad did indeed gas his own civilians, then that is inexcusable and it is everyone's duty to intervene. However, I don't think it's time yet to perform a military action like an airstrike. This is one of those times when there's no way of making everyone happy.

I think the best thing we can do both online and off involves two points: organization and agitation. Get the word out to as many as we can about the true makeup of Marxist ideology, promote labor organizing into unions and get out there for the protests. In addition, when you hear imperialist or destructive speech, combat it, whether it is in the workplace, home, or anywhere else. We can do this here, in a much smaller way, on the forums, but let us not forget that our attentions should be in the physical, material reality we find ourselves in.

You're right, unfocused protest gets us nowhere and serves mainly as a release on the pressure valve, so to speak. Thank you for saying that and allowing me to clarify.

And yes, he has. I've been talking with a nation to potentially join the region, I'll continue talking to them about it and see where that goes.
