Overview

FREE's Manifesto is all about getting things done. No vague proposals, no policies for areas such as foreign affairs, which aren't even under the House's control, no promising tons of things and getting none through, just straightforward policies.

In terms of legislation, The Freedom Party of Thaecia has 3 main goals for the upcoming legislature:

1. Introducing a bill on the Regulamentation of Electoral Debates and Political Parties.

2. Introducing a bill to Define Public and Private Institutions.

3. Reforming the Congressional Investigation Act.
   

Detailing Our Policies

1. Introducing a bill on the Regulamentation of Electoral Debates and Political Parties: Since the passing of the new constitution, what is and isn't an official political party is no longer fully clear. The Freedom Party of Thaecia wishes to introduce a bill to set in stone minimum requirements for the recognition of political parties and define their role in the political system of the region. The party also seeks to define how election debates are to be held and which format they are supposed to follow.

2. Introducing a bill to Define Public and Private Institutions: The Freedom Party of Thaecia seek to propose legislation to define different types of entities, such as public and private entities, while at the same time establishing how far regional law extends to different types of organisations. An early draft of this bill has already been started, and you can check it out here.

3. Reforming the Congressional Investigation Act: As it currently stands the Congressional Investigation Act has never been used, and is an outdated piece of legislation which we intend on reforming rather than leaving it abandoned, so as to ensure the legislature's ability to investigate remains operational.

Hey all -- I am happy to announce the nomination of current Senate Chairman and former Prime Minister The Islamic Country of Honour for the Minister of Communications role. ICH needs no introduction -- he is one of Thaecia's most active and dedicated residents. His experience in the Executive, which spans across different ministries and administrations, makes him a strong and ideal candidate for the position. With Senate approval, ICH will lead the Comms Ministry over the coming two months, fulfilling our goals for the Ministry, building on where his predecessor came up short and continuing the success the Ministry had in the first term under Emaha.

I want to thank everyone who stepped up and offered to serve in the role. I had four people put their names forward and each was excellent. I urge each of you (and the region at large) to get involved in the Comms Ministry (or any of the others) if you're not already.

What's the alternative?

Well, my friends, the alternative is FREE. A party dedicated to passing the Congressional Investigation and Accountability Act (CIA Act) so that Congress can take action in scenarios like this. A party dedicated to establishing laws creating regulations for parties, so that more information will be required to be made public for the Thaecian people. A party dedicated to standing against corruption.

THAT is the alternative. Make your choice.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Bravo on representing the situation going on. Whatever you vote for, FREE or otherwise, we as a region must choose any but the TGP. I encourage FREE, but as long as it's NOT TGP, I would be happy. The TGP has been sitting and doing very little, not accomplishing much. It has also been known for corruption in the past week, where we learned what is really going on here.

Get ready guys, for the downfall of the TGP (As we know it.) If ANYONE in the TGP will bother to fix this issue of corruption and kick out all the wrong-doers, at least. Otherwise, the party will fall flat on its face.
