Lol Xernon.

The Islamic Country of Honour wrote:Does #ns-politics look like a private channel to you? Completely false that I didn't apologize. And even Ashlawn clarified that "ICH, Peeps, and Shadow were not involved in asking for the screenshots. " Why do I deserve a different treatment? Are you saying I, someone who apologized and admitted the action was wrong, and someone who was not even directly involved in asking for the screenshots as admitted by Ashlawn, is equally at fault as the guy (Of Altonianic Islands) who willingly leaked information from a private channel, and in one of the screenshots, was even seen offering them?

And, I don't think, there's a place more public than this: So, I apologise for my inaction.

If you wish to behave like the torch of righteousness like you always take pride in, why don't you expel yourself from the region for using your government position to solicit screenshots which later helped you in writing an article which would obviously benefit you, since you have styled yourself as an anti-TGP candidate, and so TGP's loss is your gain in the House election? Also, most importantly, that article was written and released a few days before an election you had active stakes in. And interestingly, you didn't even admit to that wrongdoing, even though in that screenshot, you were clearly seen asking that person ".....Comms Minister is exactly why I need it." (Ask me, I can provide you a screenshot). And then, you proceeded to leak the article a day before an election you were an active participant in, using your government office to gain information that will benefit you politically. Don't get me wrong: just because your action was wrong, doesn't mean my silence or TGP's action was right. You are possibly in the violation of a certain offence against the State of Thaecia, according to the Law, and yet, I see, you donning your righteous hat. Charity starts at home, dear.

Oh ICH....

The requirement to be a citizen in Thaecia is to be a World Assembly member or an individual with a WA Waiver, not "be a member of Thaecia's discord". If you want to apologise to the Thaecian citizenry then you apologise in a space that all of them have access to, not in a space not all of them can access let alone all of them be active enough in to see it in the fast paced discord channel NS Politics often is.
Apologise to the people not me :^) I wasn't the one you betrayed

As we've already beaten this horse to death: Sue me. You believe I abused my Ministerial role, so sue me. Delaying to score points doesn't gain you anything.

What I told Primo was true, that's the fact of the matter. The publication that was ultimately published officially by Marv was intended as the centrepiece of the first edition of the government published newspaper. Xernon, as he had a right to do, decided that he didn't want it published via the government.

What I believe you missed out from your rebuttal was the little fact that despite when I originally approached Xernon about the story a couple months ago I asked for assurances of confidentiality. He gave me them. Your poorly formulated yet incredibly well timed response tells me that either the ultimately Marv attempted to sabotaged the single biggest boost to his party in several months, or Xernon, the man who is Thaecia's Prime Minister betrayed the at the time Communications Minister's trust and broke an informal agreement of confidentiality to attempt to support and benefit allies within the legislature.

To me that shows that Xernon places himself and political allies above the truth and by extent the Thaecian people.

Did I lie to Primo to obtain evidence used in the final article? No. Every single thing I told him was true. After he willingly shared screenshots and was thanked for his help I put them into the article and shared it with Xernon. Xernon then chose to shoot is down and then went on to smash the trust of his Communications Minister with a hammer. I was acting as Communications Minister writing a piece for a Ministry publication throughout 99% of the drafting process.

If anyone wants to contest these claims, feel free, but if anyone wants a complete discord dm history between Myself and Xernon, and myself and Primo, you're welcome to it. Contact me on discord (BowShot118#4586) and I'll send you a copy.

Finally, if exposing a corruption and spying scandal of this size is a crime, then take me to court. I will more than happily fight these nonsense accusations in front of the High Court and the Thaecian people. It will not be the first time I have been banned from a region for doing what I believe in, and that is not a fact that is going to change.

Also: Re your Ash comment. Shockingly, you aren't Ashlawn. Ashlawn apologise of his own accord. You were at the time and still are a Senior Member of the Globalist Party. The only one, until now, who has refused to go on the record and deny involvement or apologise for it.

Thaecians, TGP and Xernon have attempted to hide this from you, next time we come up to an election with ICH, Xernon or Ashlawn I request you think carefully about whether you want to support people who have abused you and attempted to hide the truth of TGP's antics from you.

Cant wait til the election is over so this drama gets forgotten

Man up and take him to court or stop making these allegations. Stop dancing around and get on with it. If you think he's "possibly in violation of the law" then go to court and prove it. If you can't take him to court then you have no proof. And if you have no proof then it's libel.

Obviously the right answer here isn’t to vote for FREE, the successor to the notoriously bad TCU, but to instead vote for the Radical Party of Thaecia. RPT has never bent its ideals for convenience, and never will. RPT is the only party with strict adherence to its values. TCU bent the knee with the constitution, they’ll undoubtedly bend the knee when their unpopular reforms face predictable opposition. TGP betrayed the faith of its coalition members in order to gain a frankly minuscule amount of information. A vote for RPT is a vote for true democracy, it’s a vote for transparency and commitment.

And also it would like really boost my ego if you did that.

I'll do that as soon as you grow a spine :P

Leave the TGP coalition and you have my vote again :P

Bow -- your vote is irrelevant. You're literally one out of hundreds of citizens. No one, like absolutely not one person, cares.

If my vote is irrelevant than so is the vote of every individual Thaecian Citizen. My vote is as powerful as yours, as powerful as any Thaecians. By saying mine is irrelevant then you're saying my opinion is irrelevant, and by extent the opinion of every Thaecian is irrelevant.

Are you an elected Prime Minister or a dictator? Because you sound an awful lot like a dictator with the "your voice doesn't matter" rhetoric.

bro i'd do that but democracy doesn't work when there's only two people lol

Meh, I guess I just would like to see SOLRAD restored to its independence. It's a little bit disappointing when SOLRAD has been quiet during this despite SOL being the target of TGP's spying...

Right -- your opinion, or in this case, your rhetoric, is irrelevant. This entire election season -- literally from day 1 -- you've just been complaining about TGP. Not once did you post anything of significance in terms of proposed laws, stances, or really anything for that matter besides TGP-related content. You don't even have a policy dispatch. You're not a meaningful opposition to anything, you're just a mic for partisan propaganda.

Primo order

Same though. I'd talk to UCP about making this happen, but he mostly finds this all laughable. Most of SOL does, not unreasonably I guess, but you'd think there'd be a bit more of a reaction.

Thanks for admitting your apathy towards the Thaecian populous, firstly.

Secondly, cool. Okay. That's your opinion and you are entitled to it. I wrote the article that was published and you didn't want it, you told me "feel free to publish it elsewhere" and apparently have the problem with the fact I did. Amusing, tbh.

Also, your definition of "a mic for partisan propaganda" is deeply flawed. I published an article about TGP abusing their position to spy on other political parties and have emphasised that fact throughout the election. Every single claim I have made about TGP has hard evidence to back it up, so it by definition isn't propaganda, which is "information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote a political cause or point of view."

Nothing I have said is misleading, everything I have said is 100% factual, but if you want to continue to gaslight and desperately try deflect obvious facts about the people you are actively choosing to ally yourself with then go for it. All you're doing is digging yourself a deeper hole and spending your time here, engaging with this apparently "irrelevant" opinion of mine instead of trying to save the desperate trainwreck your administration has become.

Focus on your job instead of attempting to become Thaecia's Trump :^), with all the dictatorial aspects included!

I just needed to point this out but either you chose an awful name for a democratic party, you are trying to say radical is democratic, or I'm stupid
