After the 3rd time a coworker says "they're too busy" when others offer to show them how to do a task, it tells me they're actually not interested in learning additional aspects of their job.

Someone tried to raid a region with a founder?

There's a word for that... Let me see... Oh, yeah. Stupid!

Just a guess, but when I hear such things occur, it's often to break a delegacy streak. Looks like NewTex was going on a little over 1200 days, that's a pretty good run.

They already broke BT's delegacy streak awhile back maybe that was the goal this time around but I'm not for sure.

***** Texas Saturday Breakfast *****

Good Taco Time! Are you ready for some Saturday Breakfast, still All-Fresh? Bring out the Drones! The NewTexas Happy Taco Stands, in conjunction with the NewTexas Incendiary Corporation, has approximately 1 trillion of the fastest, lightest drones you have ever seen. This fleet is specially designed to deliver tacos to every man, woman, child, whatever, in Texas, all 2,674,080,000,000 of you.

Today's special breakfast will Saturday Egg & Cheese Breakfast Tacos [COVID-19 Week CIX Edition]! This is simplicity at its best. The Head Chef is back to his haute cuisine thing with this humble breakfast taco. To achieve perfection, each and every egg (all 2.675 trillion of them) is cooked in a tiny black cast-iron skillet by the NewTexas Happy Taco Stands Abuelas in shimmering golden butter. They are rich and fluffy and not the standard electric-yellow, rather a pale-yellow, like the sun. No scooping here, the glorious egg is gently dumped in a fresh, homemade flour tortilla made with love. To gild the lily, a slice of a perfectly ripe avocado is slipped in. It is all topped off with a light sprinkling of Texas-made Colby Longhorn cheese just for you, Texas. Remember, a whole egg in every taco!®

Today's Special Salsa is - Salsa Roja - the universal Texas salsa! This is so simple, it is virtually Pico that is cooked down. There is nothing to it really, just ripe red Roma tomatoes, white onions, serranos, cilantro, and salt. The taco is hermetically sealed in a Stay-Warm® pouch that is wrapped in the same ol' aluminum foil we are all so familiar with for our breakfast taco. We are trying to keep it real, peeps. For your beverage accompaniment, a packet of Sanka, Tang and a Lipton Tea bag will be included with every delivery as well as salt and pepper and a napkin. Yes, it is different, but it works and you do not even have to leave your residence. Woo! And, watch out for the drones! Start your day off the right way; munch out and go back to sleep. You know you want to!®

Stay Safe Texas. Stay Well.

***** Texas Chat Reminder *****

The Texas Weekly Chat Session will be Saturday (TODAY) at High Noon Texas Time (CDT) ***Saturday***. And, if you can't be there right at Noon, that is Ok, Texas Chat usually runs 3, 4, or 5 hours with some Chats running as high as 7 or 8 hours.

The Texas Chat Site is here: http://texasregion.net/blab70/login.php

Please register with your nation name. This is a great opportunity for nations old and new to Texas to find out what is going on! We chat, debate, talk about the weather, talk about stuff we like, stuff we hate, random stuff, and more stuff. But, it is never stuffy. Usually, it is about meeting your fellow Texans and talking about the latest and most interesting stuff in NationStates at the moment. But then again, sometimes NationStates does not even come up. It is wide-open chatting with peeps from around The World both IRL and NS. It is Texans, EuroTexans, WannabeTexans, ex-Texans, VirtualTexans, and plenty of Friends of Texans. We have it all and all are welcome.

We have added a new feature to Texas Chat, Texas Movie Chat! Chat with Texans while watching a movie. Fun stuff! So far we have watched Halloween, Shootout at the OK Corral, and Red. Want to watch something?

Texas Chat, 886 weeks and running! For the math-challenged, that is over 17˝ years! Check it out! Good stuff!

The latest addition to the federal bureaucracy is the Disinformation Governance Board.[1] Headed up by Nina Jankowicz, the new agency is supposed to combat misinformation distributed by human trafficker south of the border and by those pesky Russians here in the homeland.

Speaking of Russians, it should be pointed out that Jankowicz was a highly vocal champion of the "Hunter Biden's Laptop was a Russian Operation" theory.[2] She was also fully on board with the Trump Dossier and Russian interference in the 2016 election and other Left wing fables.[3]

Straight out of George Orwell's "1984," the United States government now has its very own Ministry of Truth.

There's no way this is going to go wrong...

And the Useful Idiots on the Left all melt down without reading one word of the proposed decision. The ignorance coming from the news and social media is genuinely awesome both in quantity and quality.

This could be as much fun as when Elon bought Twitter.

or it could be a celebration of Mayo the greatest of all condiments.

Good job to those behind Picard season 2, they did a good job wrapping everything up for the final episode. A big round of applause for the surprise cameo by *Redacted by Starfleet Intelligence*. Don't think anyone expected them to show up.

Had a chance to get on orders for a few weeks this summer but I waited too long and the slots were filled. Next time I'll say yes right away and sort things out later
