I'm tired of this same old Zombie Bullsh*t every Halloween. It was fun the first year, then became stale and driven into the ground every year afterwards. Maybe the Game Mods and Admins can get off their lazy arses and come up with something creative jnstead. As for my main nation and my many puppets(like the Catgirls) I say,
F**k it! We're embracing the Zombies!"

Wow, thank you, Texas for the expeditious Zombie Purge! Remember, we are taking every nation down to around 100 million Zombies on the first pass to fend off anyone from dying. Plus, it is easier to take out big globs of them while there are lots of them. Once we are sure nobody is going to die, and when our weapons technology gets better, we will swing back around and take out the remaining small numbers on everybody.

The way to target them without anybody dying is to get the Largest Nations in Texas first. The way to tell who is biggest is to go to the top of the Regional Message Board here to the section labeled, Today's World Census Report. Go to the right. Today's report is on Timber Woodchipping. Change that to Population. Now all the Nations of Texas are in Largest to Smallest Size order.

Let's get started with that method and as you start a new one, post here on the RMB so we can all help and then when they are down to ~100 million, someone can post a next one, Rinse Wash, Repeat.

Of course, anyone caught embracing Zombies will be ejected and those exterminating will be given one warning before they get the boot.

Thank you, Happy Hunting!

More Super Awesome Congratulations Texas, we are now 26th in The World for Most Survivors with 1.94 trillion. For those who may remember from the Saturday Breakfasts, the population of Texas is roughly 2,401,869,000,000 (at least this morning it was). So, that is what we are shooting for: 2.4 Trillion Survivors and 0 Dead. We might be able to win not one, but two categories.

L-E-T-S G-O!

Looks like our former VP, TimDauwalter, and one of the oldest nations in Texas, Furry Felines need some curing if we are starting from the top down.

Our boy, ol' Tim looks great and the Felines are well on their way! On Deck Rorschach and Preserved Lenin. Keep it up!

Hey just so you guys know, it seems there's something weird this year: anyone whose nation is entirely cured has their cure research slow down dramatically. 9 hours in and I only just got Mk I missiles, and most of our big nations haven't been contributing much to a cure because of this We've had one nation that was still infected strategically re-infect a few nations so that they can start researching cure again. This update was the first one since we tried that and those who were re-infected had their research rate jump up ridiculously! It feels wrong to re-infect nations but that seems like the way to go to research the cure. :P

That explains how we have been going 4 hours and still do not have any weapons The Salaxalans. But, that does not explain how we went from 0 Zombies back up to 214K+! We thought once you were down to 0, you were done! WT peeps?

We are going to have to rely on those with weapons to hold down the effort while the rest of us await weapons.

I think it's possible that due to your infection rate being so high, zombies are spreading on their own. However now that you have a few zombies you should get your cure missiles in short order! A few zombies with one update and suddenly I had them. :P

Thanks, Salaxalans, it may be that someone looked at us and hit the Horde Button. Do NOT use the Horde Button even if that is the only one available to you.

My theory is that they're effectively making the Zombies COVID-19 this year, which would mean so long as the region has zombies they can move/transit internationally. Using some foresight here, this might mean they try to simulate a "re-opening" by force-removing regional passwords. In that case we need someone on guard to place back in place the password so we can avoid negative consequences of that.

Oops! I'm late to join the party this year. Sorry.

The Government Position:
Yip Man is researching a cure.

***** Texas Chat Reminder *****

The Texas Weekly Chat Session will be Saturday (TODAY) at High Noon Texas Time (CDT) ***Saturday***. And, if you can't be there right at Noon, that is Ok, Texas Chat usually runs 3, 4, 5 hours with some Chats running as high as 7 or 8 hours.

The Texas Chat Site is here:

Please register with your nation name. This is a great opportunity for nations old and new to Texas to find out what is going on! We chat, we debate, we talk about the weather, we talk about stuff we like, stuff we hate, random stuff, and more stuff. But, it is never stuffy. Usually, it is about meeting your fellow Texans and talking about the latest and most interesting stuff in NationStates at the moment. But then again, sometimes NationStates does not even come up. It is wide-open chatting with peeps from around The World both IRL and NS. It is Texans, EuroTexans, WannabeTexans, ex-Texans, and plenty of Friends of Texans. We have it all and all are welcome. Texas Chat, 813 weeks and running! For the math-challenged, that is over 16 years! Check it out! Good stuff!

Woah! What the heck is happening with all these zombies!? (Thanks for curing the people of RoF though!)

Zombies. I hate freakin' zombies...

If anyone's able to cure other nations please send cure missiles in my direction. I'm getting overrun by zombies and I still don't have the Cure Missile option. Yikes!

Something fishy is going on with the Zombs. Nations that are researching the cure and I know I've helped cure up to 10% of the population are back down to single digits of cured.

Did anyone else have to start over on cure research? My cure missiles were working no problem last night, but today I'm having to start over.

Howdy Dudes and Dudettes of Texas!

Today's Sunday Surprise Beverage is Halloween Make - Your - Own - Beverage Day! I've got lots of Large Boxes full of drink making ingredients stacked up right here and I'm going to beam them directly into the home of every Texan in Texas. Everyone will receive a Large Box and it'll materialize on the table closest to you. With all the drink ingredients in your box you can make Fluffernutter Milkshakes, Pumpkin Butterbeer Hot Chocolate, Butterbeer and Caramel Apple Cider. There's enough ingredients to make 3 glasses of each drink. You can keep the Instructional Guide CD as my gift to you:

Make Your Own Beverage Drink Making Guide:

Fluffernutter Milkshake

Pumpkin Butterbeer Hot Chocolate

Caramel Apple Cider

When blending drinks in your blender always add your ice at the end so it doesn't jam up the blender. Also if you've got alcohol in your house and you desire an alcoholic drink just mix your own booze into the beverages.

And today I've included a large container of Meringue Ghost Tarts in everyone's boxes too. Decadent chocolate and caramel make this treat devilishly delicious while the meringue ghosts are frighteningly festive! Happy Halloween Dudes and Dudettes!

I hope y'all enjoy today's Sunday Surprise Snack and Beverages Texans. Yeehaw! :)
