Happy Flag Day Texas! For those who may be unaware, Flag Day is a patriotic day specifically celebrating the Flag. It is believed to have first originated in 1885 to honor the "Flag Birthday" on the 108th anniversary of the official adoption of The Stars and Stripes. This celebration caught on over the years gradually moving south and east (it started in Wisconsin). Inspired by these three decades of state and local celebrations, Flag Day - the anniversary of the Flag Resolution of 1777 - was officially established by the Proclamation of President Woodrow Wilson on May 30th, 1916. However, it was not until August 3rd, 1949, that President Truman signed an Act of Congress designating June 14th of each year as National Flag Day. It is not a non-work holiday but is a patriotic day nonetheless. Yay! Flag! Yay!

Those in uniform should know better. But frankly, almost anything negative they could say about Gov. Jay Inslee would be accurate. Too bad they did not have discipline to keep it to themselves while in uniform.

Jay Inslee? I don't live in Washington state, haven't since I was about 2. You can criticize the polices if you do so tactfully and make it clear it's your own opinion. It sounds more like they called Gov Wolf a less than desirable term.

On a happier note, we got new uniforms today. Only 1 T-shirt, but that's easy enough to acquire. 1 set of name tapes, plus an extra name for the hat. Shoulder patches were not supplied, nor wore the steel toe boots needed for our job. The Unit patch and boots will be provided to us at some point. Hopefully soon. The higher headquarters patch is easily available to purchase online, and those patches aren't mandatory until next year.

well I picked this up from google after I got the same error.

This error is caused by the VB Script function CInt, which gives an overflow error when using a number that is greater than its range. CInt only has a range between the integers -32,768 to 32,767. If a number is passed to this function that is out of the range, this error will be displayed.

Just the tip of the iceberg there and other cities under leftist bat-stuff crazy rule.

Police officers have a really tough job. They have to know that unless an officer verifiably screws up, the city will have their back. They have to know that city policies will not leave them in no win situations. Like the Atlanta Mayor demanding the two officers be fired after the Wendy's shooting, long before any of the facts were in (Hint: That is probably a by the book shooting.)

There is no way I would be a police officer in a city where I am more likely to be thrown under a politically correct bus than backed up on garbage use of force complaint, let alone a fatal shooting. Now, the BLM fools are talking about eliminating Qualified Immunity. That is the protection peace officers enjoy from personal civil suit as long as their actions conform to the law and regulations in that department. The only way to be a police officer if that happens is to put everything in your parent's name so you have nothing for the legal vultures to take.

Eventually all we will be left with is officers that will be more concerned about repercussions than enforcing the law and protecting the community. Or worse, the kind of people that simply do not care.

Thank you to the 32,767th visitor who blew the counter, again. The last time that happened was about 5-8 years ago. Wrote that dingdangged thing 16 years ago! It needs a major technology upgrade. National Fudge Day
