I'm a bit sore but survived the mud run, I mean the Zombie Obstacle Course Run. Was fortunate enough to start at the same time as a group of 3 friends who allowed me to join them in going through the course. Lost 3 flags, lives, but gained one back so I was designated a survivor at the end of the run. If you have zero flags, you're 'infected.' I've already signed up for next year.

Remember when I wrote that Rittenhouse was breaking the law by openly carrying a rifle at the age of 17?

I was wrong. Once the prosecution agreed that Rittenhouse's rifle was of legal length, count six was summarily dismissed from the bench.

That'll teach me to get my facts from a charging document written by a pissed off assistant district attorney.

You're right. Rittenhouse is guilty of a Class A Misdemeanor:

Open carry is legal anywhere concealed carry is legal. It is legal for all adults unless they are prohibited from possession of firearms. Wisconsin state law 948.60(2)(a) states: "Any person under 18 years of age who possesses or goes armed with a dangerous weapon is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor."
