Verner my lord’s 4th Cardiac Catheter Ablation procedure was successful. Two days after the procedure, he has a steady heartbeat again, his heart was no longer going into Cardiac Arrest and his left and right ventricular ejection fraction (heart function) has improved slightly. He was weaned from VA-ECMO on Sunday morning and weaned from all intravenous inotropic and other cardiac medications by Sunday night. Thereafter, he was moved to the Cardiac Ward for monitoring but he was discharged from hospital yesterday evening. We’re glad to have him back home with us and we’d like to thank everyone who prayed for him. We appreciate your prayers and support. :)

Good job keeping him going Doc! We looked up that VA-ECMO deal; that is amazing and horrific at the same time. We are so glad Verner made it past yet another life-threatening event successfully! Please tell him he is fulfilling his wish to be an Elite Endurance Athlete for he just ran a marathon in that hospital and won! What a Champ!
Issues Test Bed, that monolith is pretty odd and kewl at the same time. Probably been sitting there since the filming of 2001. That would put it in 1968, that is a long time to go unnoticed.

Anybody going off the turkey playbook? For the last ten years or so, we have grown weary of years and years of turkey. We are giving turkeys a break this year. We are giving the main course a break and are being thankful for our bountiful pantry and are celebrating with Side Dishes only. We are doing mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, and freshly-made cookies and brownies! But first, Bloody Marys as we finish the prep work and watch the parade!

I would rate our performance at a 3 out of 5. We had a central plan in place. As we've done for several years the residents are encouraged to follow the leadership of the Texas, Zombie Eradication Research Organization (T-ZERO). Our goal was to cure the nations of TX while keeping an eye out for anyone who is trying to mess with that plan.
We didn't do as well this year, which I think was largely due to the changes made to the 2020 version of zombies. I know many regions still held their own, so I'm not entirely sure what went wrong in TX. Not sure the population numbers. You'd have to talk with Big Tex about that.

Indeed. I am extremely glad ECMO kept me alive long enough to get better last year and this year. However, I hope I will never wind up requiring ECMO support again.
