The number of the day is 15.14%.
It's our peak infection rate. At no point during Z-Day was our zombie population any higher than that. That's a good bit below the average for curing regions (~21%), and shows that seeing our name up there in 8th place for most survivors is well deserved. Almost all Spiritans who participated in any way stuck to the plan, and hope springs eternal that one Z-Day everyone will, and we'll do even better.
Special thanks to Nikovarus, Kaiser Bomburg, and our for-profit friends from the Ltin Corporation for their very active and consistent participation in our scrubbing efforts. I think a round of Service to Spiritus Medals is in order for that.
Very special thanks to The Quiescent Platypus for serving as Zombie Control Officer in addition to that, and helping me out with coordination. That's likewise a well-earned StSM.
Extremely very special thanks to Wuufu and Tammy Yui, also for their help with coordination. Spiritus has run out of awards to give to Wuufu years ago, I'm afraid. But I guess that tells you everything you need to know about him. Thank you! (While I'm at it, RMB shoutout to the Halloween edition of the Wuufu Warble. It's... well, take a look: http://warble.wuufu.co.uk/category/issues/issue-19/ )
Thank you all for a nice, clean, and successful Z-Day! I'm looking forward to the next event, which I guess will be a while... April's Fools, probably.
It's not the Admiralty's fault, it is quite obviously the fault of the legislature, they even managed to get stuck in a seemingly self-perpetuating quagmire for the last what? 89 or so thousand years?
Strange isn't it? That the Admiralty which holds considerable autonomy, is more loyal to the sovereign than the legislature, which derives its power from the aforementioned sovereign.
I really thought more people had seen those movies...
You should at least see the first one. It's an almost perfect blend of a minimal plot that makes sense, awesome action scenes and vampires vs werewolves.
