Is there a skill or technique that you have been striving to gain but have had a hard time with? Doesn't have to be art focused.

But mine is. I've been trying to learn how to sweep pick on guitar since I was 14. I can do a sloppy version of it sometimes after 17 years of playing guitar.

Question of the Day

If you could change one thing about your favorite movie/show/book/comic/etc what would it be?

I would change the entire season 7 of Buffy. Which is not one thing. So I'm cheating. But the entire season felt so rushed and shoed in, like they didn't know how to tie it up and they just went into a fever dream thinking of how things needed to go. There are some good moments, but the writing really struggled right after the best season of the show.

My favorite Comic is Transmetropolitan. It is pretty damn perfect aside from one very big thing and that is the author. The creator of it is an extremely problematic and unsafe person, and I wish it had another author or he wouldn't profit from it sales. My trade paperbacks are old and destroyed and I need copies, but don't want to but them because he will get money, so I need to find a used copy.

That's the worst tbh. Buffy ended up being like that from me, now I have to make sure I buy used copies of anything I buy from it. Which is like... why Joss Whedon, you could have just done better.

It's been a wild holiday season but now that things are back to normal we're working on getting the second issue of Rogue published (with a bit of delay, but it shouldn't be too much longer!). I like movies that seem like the person writing it actually understands the feeling they're trying to give you. Sometimes whether they're hitting too hard or not hitting hard enough you can just tell the person has no idea what this would actually feel like and it's almost insulting to me to watch them pretend lol. I need my movie joy, sadness, anger, whatever, to be full and real. It's just so obvious when it's not.
