You don’t have to be quiet and I am disturbed that cucumbers are fruits D:

It's an animated movie from 1988. I am not usually a fan of anime, so I was approaching it as a sci-fi movie that happens to be animated. It's a great example of cyberpunk aesthetic. If you are a fan of Blade Runner, The Matrix, Cyberpunk 2077, Dark City, Batman Beyond, Rick and Morty, et cetera, then it is worth a watch. Personally I think it's a stone cold masterpiece. The score itself is just unreal.

Edit: The voice acting is in Japanese. There are probably numerous dubs out there. I watched the subtitled version on Hulu.

I think I got... most of that?
Anyway if we're doing suggestions here's a book one:
Illuminae. It's just awesome in general and I think it's sci-fi. It's in the future, a planet with a technically illegal mine gets attacked by a corporation (hmm....) who wants to take advantage of that and..... things just go wrong. But you should read it. (then we can argue about who the best character is)

Sorry if I confused you. I would be happy to clarify if you tell me which parts of my post were unclear.

Anyone else agree with me that it would be hilarious if there were 21 '"Found" Socks'?

Serious question: how could i, someone with zero design skill or artistic ability, get involved with this project? Is there anything i can do contribute/assist/signal boost?

Yeah 100%. The easiest way to contribute is to upvote, show it to people and get them to upvote, etc. If you want to be more in depth with it, I would suggest joining our discord and joining the ROGUE staff. There are plenty of things people can do without being focused on design or submitting art, such as finding submissions, having ideas for articles, writing articles such as Cinemassacre and The Arcade, etc.

Dashiki City wrote:So does this publish art in dispatches? I really like the idea

Yeah, we basically ask people to submit and make a magazine to show off their talent. :D
