That being said, I announce that I am running for the position of Symbasilieus as a possible successor to Palsada.
I hope the people of the RBU will place their trust in me again, as they have in the past with the Senate and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Palsada has served this region for a significant amount of time. He has done well in his endeavor.
That being said, I announce I am running for the position of Symbasileus. I have been elected to assist in leading this region for now almost two years. I am proud to say I have served as a member of the government for almost a year and a half now. I've been elected by the people to serve as Senator and elected by my fellow Senators to be the leader of the Senate, the Senate Tribune. I've appointment many fellow members of the RBU to the positions of Defense minister, Interior minister, Foreign minister, and more. I can only hope that the nations of the RBU once again put their faith in me and elect me as Symbasileus. I will do my best to live up to my predecessor.
I, too, will be throwing my hat in the ring to succeed Palsada as Symbasileus. He has done an incredible job at remaining neutral and impartial and fostering the community we have here.
I am not the type to actively seek out leadership positions, as I am sure you are well aware. I generally took the back seat in the Senate after my tenure was up as Senate Tribune, but that is not to say I did not do anything. I have created many a bill and compromised with my fellow senators to get them passed. My main concern as I run for Symbasileus is cleaning up all of the fluff we have lying around here on NS. Primarily, we have a slew of informational materials which are either outdated, obsolete, or generally not very well arranged. Past that, I hope to be as neutral and fostering as Palsada was, though my own beliefs may get in the way of that. I do genuinely believe that any of the people running for Symbasileus would do a great job, though.

Palsada, Andalusian union, please take in your attention that the region Invicta has ended all relations with us. Therefore, it shall be removed from our Roman Defense Treaty. Up to Senate if needed to be voted.
