Fellow members of the Roman Byzantine Union,
I regret to inform you that I plan on stepping down as minister of defense and am leaving the region. It has been fun, but I have friends from another region asking me to go and join them. I never really felt up to the task of minister of defense since I was rarely on. I probably won't leave right away, but I do plan on leaving soon. Maybe we can work together in the future, but for now, I must form my own path and leave the nest.

I want active people who can do their job in these positions.
I didn't pass or suggest a law on elections or appointments in offices while no ideas were presented yet.
My suggestion was for candidates to present a plan of activity they wish to do while occupying a position, then by elections for most of positions or by appointment in case of a Gov office.
I replaced the Administration dispatch made by Byzantine exarchates with a better one [updated version] at the region, while he's no longer active in service. That has included decorations and medals.
You should get notices for being mentioned in the new dispatch. All those active contributors to the Union were granted distinctions for their merits, following the level of activity and these will remain in the Union history. Very few got decorations. Better contributions attract better distinctions.
The Empire of Palmyra would like to report that Heart Disease now only accounts for a total of 2.1% of the total deaths and 77.4% of the population dies from old age. (Also, 1 in 5 people die from being lost in the wilderness.)
