What happened? :P

The CFP used to be the source of ~80% of the region's presidents and senators.

It looks like it might be headed in the direction of the U.S. Federalist Party.

Two things: number 1, yikes. Number 2, I think a lot of factors went into our decline, firstly my inactivity, and failure to lead the party. Heck, I was busy failing to come up with ideas to revitalize the region, let a lone a party. With my inactivity also came a drop in party activity, I remember Imperii once tried to lead a major internal reform to liven things up, if he'd had the time the CFP would still, in my mind, be a relevant regional force. However, I think I would also be remiss to note the left-wing shift of the region. That isn't to say that conservatism or right-wingers are few and far between, though they seem more silent these days, but that the left-wing has grown and become more vocal. I've always been right-socially and further left economically, in fact I believe I was the first to see if anyone would be interested in forming a social-democratic party. Yet, I'm also a fan of the calm, slow and considerate pace of the right-wing, so I stayed and helmed the party. Had someone been more active on the forums I might've given the party over. I debated letting the RCS run it, but I think I forgot to TG him about it, which is indicative of my failures as the leader.

The right-wing is far from dead in RTL (this region is founded upon a conservative social view, after all), but I think it needs a new vocal champion here to bring some others out of the dark. Imperii had proposed a party leader and a part president, with the leader exercising mainly maintenance powers, if someone like that came about, I might renew the idea so I could keep things going if activity got short, but power would rest comfortably on someone with better vision. In the end this is a still just a game, so I probably sound gloomier than I actually am, I did my best and that's what games are for, doing your best and having fun. I just think political success on NS is also fun, and I hope the CFP can regain its stronghold.

You know, minus the treason... maybe...

Also does the Reactionary Traditionalist Front still even exist?

Great! I'll sign the accord.

United massachusetts

We'll still have to ratify it.

I think I'll officially change my membership to the Conservative Federalists (I tried to do this on the forums, but I can't remember my account name, let me know if I need to do that). I'll also ask the Prime Minister to send out some circuit justiciars/inquisitors to root out any socialists heretics UM may have illegally snuck into the country or pestering WA agents trying to enforce their pathetic excuses for international law by illegally entering the country.

Open borders for WA enforcement officials.

But we need to stop reactionary imported voters from FCN. Millions of ILLEGAL foreigners VOTING in our elections.

(If, of course, they want to join our international revolution, they are welcome.)

I think most of its members are gone, once RCF left I think it just became inactive!

It'll be nice in the summer. I imagine they won't have to deal with all the heatwaves we've been getting in the States.

I wouldn't mind going myself, the heat has been intense, even over here in Ireland. Of course it sill rains though in the middle of summer.

It’s a little weird that of all of the parties I’m most in-line with the Reactionary Traditionalist Front (far-right) and Christian Socialist Party (far-left) than the center. Actually it’s not because I hate the center but whatever.

CSP is left, not far-left.

Thats an interesting one however, a Christian Communist Party!

Yeah... no, not in this case, at least.

The issue here is that my social views are extremely conservative but my economic views are pretty left-wing. The center doesn’t have anything to bargain with.

Lagrodia wrote:Also does the Reactionary Traditionalist Front still even exist?

The Reactionary Traditionalist Front and the Liberals for Life Coalition currently show only one member apiece, which would mean that the parties are now on probation.

That said, I think Aawia accidentally added Horatius Cocles to the Christian Socialist Party. Unless I missed something, I thought she was an RTF member.

United massachusetts wrote:We'll still have to ratify it.

Yes, you should set it before the new Senate.

Is this the age of RTL's two-party system?

Culture of Life: Cocles is a CSP member. She had a bit of a leftward shift while you were gone.
