You're entirely correct; nothing is stopping me from leaving the WA.

However, I didn't say all resolutions are entirely without merit. There are some things I believe the General Assembly should have jurisdiction over. The current trend, though, is to use it as a de facto national legislature and more and more resolutions are getting passed that deal with things that should be addressed on a per nation basis (e.g. On Abortion). Just because it was made to pass Resolutions doesn't mean I have to be OK with it passing legislation on every issue under the sun.

I was never part of the WA. They changed my stats. Plus I hate the idea of a united world government.

I agree with international disaster relief, but the author wrote the resolution in a needlessly condescending and unprofessional manner

It’s the only way to defeat the alien invasion, my friend (not that the WA would be able to, though) 🙃

Other than the fact that WA membership is pretty much the de facto method for keeping regions secure without passwording them, you mean? lol

I think the (entirely voluntary) Border Commission thing is ok; no one is forced to join, and it addresses the issue of cross-border travel, which is something it's reasonable (and for the best, really) to have some basic international agreements on. Getting into too much of the domestic issues though is overstepping their bounds -- regardless of whether or not I agree with what they're trying to do. Simply because the WA can propose and draft resolutions does not mean they have to be doing so all the time, eventually you hit a point where you cover everything you want to and have a right to.

Bjornheimr wrote:The Covid vaccines are effective and everyone (that can get one) should get one

I don’t get the flu shot every season bc the new vaccines often can’t keep up with the new variants. But Covid is a whole different ball game. Each unvaccinated person is acting as a breeding ground for the new Covid variants, which will eventually outpace the current vaccines, unless more people vax up

People accuse me of being anti-vaxx because I haven't been vaccinated yet, while in reality I'm just too lazy to be vaccinated lol.

Plus, I mostly stay at home

Did this word sorta fall out of vogue in recent months? Because for a while (here, at least) it was super common.

There may, or may not be... We'll never know, as of now...

I think aliens exist. Well. Not UFOs but like. Ya know, aliens that you see in those mocumenteries about realistic aliens.

Hermosamente

If aliens exist, they must be destroyed, and their homeworlds turned into nuclear ash.

"There is no end to the abomination of the alien. Do not allow any guise of sentience to stay your hand – there can be no hesitation when the survival of humanity as a species is at stake."

The closest thing we encountered the so-called "aliens" are the ones we find in the deep sea where sea creatures there resembles alien-like creatures.

Do you know if it’s FDA approved yet?
