I'm very concerned about the Trump/Devos education budget cuts. That's a huge amount of funding to take away from schools and from people who do not have the money for private schools and such. I have to ask myself, "Do they want our children to be dumb and uneducated? Yes, public education definitely needs some changes, but moreso in an addition fashion rather than a deduction of funds.
I ask myself a lot about Trump. Why does he choose some of these terrible choices for a country full of people who are not rich like him and his cronies? How does one break from this modern day caste system and rise above? Surely, capitalism isn't the only factor in rising to the top... Why are poor people still staying poor and rich getting richer? Sure, there are people out there who are lazy and don't commit to jobs, I can uderstand how their funds would not increase based on lifestyle habits. But what about those people out there who don't have tons of money, but who are FOLLOWING ALL THE RULES and doing what's right and still end up in the losing crowd? What about all those middle class families who can't afford healthcare and who can't afford private schools?
Devos is the perfect candidate for a perfect education in a very wealthy country with no poverty-stricken students. Outside of that setting, she's doing nothing but glibly passing legislation for an entire country to people. She has no heart for education. And if this cut tells you anything about Trump/Devos, it's that they're not taking our country's future seriously.

In my experience in voting, Dems tend to vote thinking big picture, with more of a stress on social policies while Reps tend to vote for themselves and tend to lean to a more economic side.

I didn't like and still don't like Trump for my own reasons, but I have to agree: I liked the idea of shaking up things and making politics for the people again. I was looking forward to some of the things that Trump would do because somethings you have break rules to push things forward. However, I do not stand behind most of his decisions because he's concerned about himself and the rich people in America. THEY DON'T NEED HELP. The poor do. The homeless do. The downtrodden and the hungry do need help. I wish that our politicians would be more compassionate sometimes.

I think that the problem is that most modern politicians who make important offices dont understand and cant relate to the common people, like Trump and Hilary, both of them were born with a silver spoon in their mouths and their policies reflect that they dont know what its like to have nothing

Not like incompetent leaders are somehow limited or more likely to come up with democracy, and in fact, they're the easiest to get rid of in such a system. In a autocracy you never know how long you have to endure their assassinate reign, with Trump you can count the days until he is forced to leave.

I feel like the main reason people are fed up with the "established" politicians is because politicians have (1) created this concept of the "establishment" and (2) blamed their failures or lacking on that establishment.
