On closer look, it appears that you are correct. I thought it was natural to assume she was talking to Rarity (she was the one telling the story, after all), and Scootaloo and Apple Bloom's responses did seem to fit that, but I missed that she was actually pointing with her hoof.

So, as far as my puppets go, it should be around 150 as well, although about 40 of those saw no action, since I brought them in near the end, as a backup.

Interesting. No idea exactly how many of my puppets "saw action" throughout the event, given my usage of them was a bit different from yours in that a healthy chunk of mine were devoted partially or entirely to defense and shielding was not tracked as a statistic. I'd imagine that at least a couple dozen didn't see any action at all before they were blown to bits, but the final two waves of attacks did see me deploy probably about two-thirds of the shields I'd saved up, which was somewhere around 15-18k, IIRC. In terms of nations that scored hits on others, I mainly just cycled through my military specialists, only using a handful of economic specialists to actually attack things.

I'd also decided on the puppets I was going to use before the event even started and had them all ready to join in once our faction was founded, so I didn't end up bringing in any reinforcements.

Derpsy hooves wrote:Surprisingly, I didn't have much in the way of bandwagoners, although that may have something to do with only hitting a high spot on the scoreboards with a few hours left to go.

Yeah, that's probably an accurate assumption. We didn't start out near the top since we didn't do much on offense for the first few hours, as I was focused on amassing weapons and shields, but once we did start launching attacks, we quickly climbed into the top 20 and from there moved steadily up until we reached 5th. So we definitely had a lot more time to attract bandwagoners.

PLEASE ENDORSE PRINCESS LUNA IMMEDIATELY. MAGICAL EQUESTRIA HAS CTE'D.

I've transferred my WA membership back to this nation and endorsed Princess Luna along with pretty much everyone else. If I missed anyone, let me know.

Princess Mi Amore Cadenza
(aka Equestrian States / New Nukehavistan)

Is it just me, or are the proposed WA resolutions becoming less detailed and increasingly lazy in terms of drafting?

At this point I think any important, somewhat-important, mildly important, mildly interesting, and the like resolutions have been long since passed in the WA.

So now we are down to the dregs of the barrel, where random poorly written things are being passed, just so they can be repealed again a week later.

So, the chacater Daring Do has appeared in episodes named both Daring Don't and Daring Done. There was also that fanfic Daring Didn't, which parodied Daring Don't.

I am sure this is not going to cause any typos.

In other news, there have been some surprise votes near the end of the poll's run, putting the final tally at 2-7-2.

From my latest set of issues

A coalition of economically powerful nations have made headlines by installing an embargo against New Nukehavistan, citing the nation’s weapons of mass destruction program as “alarmingly large and detrimental to world peace.”

Which of you geniuses thought this was a good idea? :p

Surprise attack on Atomic Rainbooms

The 2nd Nuclear Apocalypse was notable for the unexpected downfall of the Atomic Rainbooms faction of the Pony Lands region: towards the end of the mini-game, it was widely believed that the Atomic Rainbooms was on course for a top-ten finish, with at least 22,000 points (as of 21:16 CEST),[7] and no radiation (as of 19:37 CEST).[8] However, the region suddenly came under heavy fire from a number of factions in the closing hours, leaving them with -1,758 points and in 746th place.[9] According to Bohseon, the large-scale assault appeared to be in retaliation for Atomic Rainbooms attempting a similar attack against the Augustin Alliance.[10]

Well dang. Apparently I don't have enough influence to change the password right now. Not without making it visible at least, and that would take 90% of it...

That kinda sucks.

Is there any way we can help other than endorsing you?

Not that I know of. Sorry.

This is what I hate most about raiders. Not just the damage they do, but the fact that the risk of getting raided inspires paranoia and distrust between innocent players. It would be so much easier to present a friendly, welcoming community if the site's staff didn't refuse to do anything about cowardly people who abuse such friendship.

The FAQs page has defined it as gameplay. I wouldn't see the staff taking action against it anytime soon, with the idea of endorsement raiding and hoarding being almost as old as the game itself. They've also provided the tools and permissions for players to protect their regions too; I doubt the R/D gameplay will be ever removed.

I do however remember the "Predator" incident with some of the prominent raiders of early 2016. This was a hard blow on the raider community. It was certainly a defining event in that part of the NS community.

Yes, Princess Luna had to go into lockdown and use up lot a influence to change password.

Which is no problem, as that's what influence is for! Welcome back.

*Snuggles*

Indeed. No point in gaining it if you aren't going to use it when you need to.

Welcome back, Magical equestria!
