One doesn't need to be a psychotic dictatorship or an anarchy to be extreme. North Aurelia is a democratic monarchy that has delegated most power to local government, yet on a national level has outlawed the possession of vehicles and firearms, as the practice of religion and smoking (however most drugs are legal). The death penalty is put to common use regardless of the fact that there is no courts to judge and sentence you.

There is immense wealth among the people, yet to be 'rich' in North Aurelia is unlikely. My people enjoy a great many civil rights, except for certain major ones already mentioned.

We are sort of like the dystopic version of Sweden.

I recently got rid of capital punishment. Seemed to improve most of my stats quite a bit. No more blowing people out of an airlock like a Vogon :'(
