Thermonuclear War does not care about how many intercepts you achieved. What really matters are the ones that get through. One cannot win a nuke war if one gets vaporized.

The Horsemen won this game many years in a row. They are very good, everyone acknowledges this. That is why folks had to come together to defeat them. This is just general game play. If the scoring system worked another way, folks would have simply teamed up to defeat them within this new reality.

I have no national, or official religion, making it freedom to religion...

yeah i guess that makes sense.... except you are missing a key detail, Khan is large, and the amount of radiation basically didn't even affect it.

think of it like this: if there is 10 people in a house and one of them dies, the house would lose 10%, but if there are 100 people in a house and 1 of them die, it would only be 1%

proof that it basically stayed unaffected? It kept the most production for as long as I've seen it.

That's an interesting thought exercise, at least. I've not heard anyone frame the concept of the size of a faction to actual landmass size. I think the generally accepted idea is more along the lines of population size. Or, maybe, economic size, in the sense of production capacity. But I suppose it could be reframed along the lines of area.

If there were a mechanic that took into account faction size, scaling up their capacity to take damage relative to it, it would be a very large change to the game. I would imagine. I'm neither technical nor learned in game theory. But I think the side effect would be quite bad. There would likely be an arms race for puppet production. With each faction churning out as many nations as possible and signing them up to their faction, in order to balloon the "area" encompassed by their side.

Either way, my final point, above, still stands. This was the accepted rule set everyone was playing in, and under which the final results were tallied. If the rules had been otherwise, for instance taking into account your preferred mechanics, then everyone would have played the game differently. And the Horsemen would have been swamped by everyone under this alternate reality of how the game would function.

KHAN has huge numbers, but those are basically puppet armies. Those few puppet masters, exceptionally talented though they are, have physical limits on how effective they can be. That run of N-Days where they so handily won proved that they could succeed, to a point. But the last couple exposed the limit of that success. There are other puppet masters on NS, and if those can all agree to work together, long enough, to at least knock out the frontrunner, then KHAN's puppeteers have a very steep road to success ahead of them. The others need not all be united enough to belong to the same faction, they simply need to all agree that the Horsemen are the primary baddies. But if faction size really were so all-important, everyone would likely coalesce into a greater faction, in the beginning, to get that size bonus while combating the Horsies, and then Balkanize into smaller, more localized factions after that.

I'm thankful for getting the position of a WA Delegate. Although I do not know how I have gotten this position, I'm still thankful.

How did I get it????

Wait a minute.. Why did we have a handful of people from the region Empire of Love? And then return to Empire of Love? They are not the same countries, each having different names but same flags.

In Louisiene It's not liver, it's livre. Which in French means book. So it's not liver. It's livre ( French for Book )
