All sails ahead

The new appointed Minister of foreign affairs, Kong Ye-Won. Sets out on a quest out into the sea, and shall be docking at one of the ports in Nekaro. She is protected by two RAS guards and one royal azure maid from the Spirit Squadron or also known as the 2nd Royal Squadron. 3曹 Nguyễn Kim Anh is in charge of the fire team consisting of herself as a royal azure maid and the royal azure guards Hamamoto Tazu and Taguchi Shozo. She was to escort and protect the Minister of Foreign Affairs as part of the RAS’ job.

Minister Kong Ye-Won prepares herself, as she dresses into a formal uniform, she herself doesn’t feel harmed by the sea, though some of those that are new to being at sea like Shozo have felt nauseous along the way. His condition didn’t deter him to stop doing his duty, he still wanted to go along with the Minister but the Minister suggested it were not a good idea for him to come along, as he may fall into a more serious condition along the way. So he was forced to stay back in the ship along with the crew.

The ship docks at the Nekaro port, the crew lowered the sails and alerted the Minister of their arrival, the minister gets out of one of the rooms she was occupying. The RAS personal consisting of now 2 personnel due to one being sickened by the trip. “Now women, let’s make sure not to let the Prime Minister and Monarchs down, this is a nation of our kind and we may be able to establish free trade or some trade deal with the Commonwealth, I want you to be formal and don’t make a mockery out of us, understand?” Minister Kong Ye-Won said, a Nekomimi whom doesn’t want the republic to be seen as ignorant to a distant kind of her own.
“Hai, I shall make sure my guard keeps in line,” 3曹 Kim Anh said, the Okamimimi in a Royal Azure maid uniform.

The Minister and her guardians step out of the ship and onto the dock of Nekaro.

The Unexpected

With the Commonwealth of Nekaro being recognized as a bonified country, one would expect the officials greeting the Kitsuneki delegation would be in direct representation of the nation. However, Nekaro is but a mere subject of the Sol-Nippon Empire and as per the Sol-Nekaro Consensus, which the, in turn, relinquished the crown's power to the overlord state of Sol-Nippon. However, over the 2 decades that Nekaro has been under the precedence of the Sol-Nippon, the empire had more or less let the crown reign free on domestic matters, as the empire only sees the country for its resources. Furthermore... as the arrival of the Kitsuneki delegation set foot on the docks of Nekoro. In the distance was a dispatch of soldiers dressed in the uniform of the Sol-Nippon Military.

As the dispatch approached the delegation of the Kitsuneki, the commanding officer who was a Nekomimi, named Isao Pragri had bowed to whom had appeared to be the V.I.P. they were expecting... Isao then stood up and reached his hand out to the Minister while commenting "Greetings your excellency, allow me to welcome you to the Commonwealth of Nekaro, you must be" as he inquired in respect of getting the Minister's name, to continue his greeting.

Stepping onto the docks of Nekaro, the Minister Ye-Won steps onto the cold surface of the docks. The RAS personal following her behind. The wind roars as the sea crashes onto the shores. The sun radiating its heat on the dock while the wind coming from the sea cools the air. Birds chirping and the port was busy as usual as common men worked their usual daytime jobs.

“It’s good to be at bay, right?” The Minister said, stretching herself on the dock as she felt squeezed up in the ship.
“Yes ma’am, though we have came for a reason, which is to establish trade,” Kim Anh said, she stared at the horizon of the sea.
“Well we did come for a reason, but at least we are off the boat for now. Too bad Shozo felt sea sickened along the way, he wasn’t too used to being at sea, it’s best if he got some fresh air though,” she responded.

The Minister noticed a dispatch of soldiers coming. “Well my fellow Nekomimi’s are coming, hope that I do not be mistaken as a citizen of Nekaro,” she said jokingly. Though Kim Anh felt the need to be alert and have herself ready at all times. She cannot afford to lose the Minister to a few mercenaries she has never encountered. Though the site of ears may have comforted her and raised questions about the nekomimi soldiers.

The officer bowed to the minister and the minister bowed back. Coming back up from the bow the soldier let his hand out to Ye-Won, she shook the soldiers hand and responded “I’m Kong Ye-Won, Minister of Foreign Affairs, I’m thankful for your hospitality and you welcoming me and my other men & women here.” She said and then continues on, “I have come here as a new appointed minister of the Republican Government to negotiate a trade deal or a free trade that may benefit both nations I hope, and what may be your name?” Minister Ye-Won asked the soldier.

As Pragri shook hands with the Minister of Foreign Affairs; Ahh, a pleasure Minister Ye-Wong, I am Lieutenant Colonel Isao Pragri of the Panther Imp Company in service the Nekoran Defense Force. Pragri had replied as he saluted to the minister as so did the rest of his dispatch once more in honor of their formal introductions.

Continuing onward, Pragri had then mentioned "Ahh why yes your excellency, we've been expecting you; You're quite early in regards to time...I am by no means a politician, nevertheless I do wish for a gratifying outcoming in the end. However I must say, the City of Evermore is a days travel from here no travel by civilian carriage is by no means viable. But please you must be tired from your long voyage to here, allow us to make your accommodation to the finest inn in the city, and we'll have a transport convoy ready by dawn." Pragri had inquired as he humbly began to lead them to their temporal residents.

Pragri had inquired as he humbly began to lead them to their temporal residents.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you as well Lieutenant Colonel Isao Pragri,” the Minister said, she then realized that she didn’t introduced her guards that were sent to protect her, “Ah, I haven’t introduced you to my two guards, this is Sergeant Kim Anh,” she said, Kim Anh and Tazu bow down to the Colonel,” and that is Private Hamamoto Tazu. They are apart of the Royal Azure Sentinels or RAS for short.” She ended, the Seegeant and Private stood up straight afterward.

The Minister followed the Lieutenant Colonel and her guardians followed her from behind. Pragri wished the trade deal may have a positive outcome and that the convoy that will transport her to the capital of Nekaro, Evermore will be ready at dawn. “Well I hope that this trade deal will be beneficial to both our people and the nations as well as strengthen relations. Though I’m very sure that it’ll be good.” She replied with some hope in her words, “Though I did have a rough time at sea for a month or so it would be grateful for your accommodation,” she said with gratitude.

The Minister and Guardians entered the inn, the Minister grabbed a drink and some food, while the guardians stuck to drinking water and eating food. They have only been on a strict fish diet as that is the only thing that was readily available in the sea. So it was good to be eating grain and meat from land animals.

Though the Sergeant seemed to be rather weary of the company, the number of soldiers coming just to transport a foreign minister seemed a lot. Her firetime once consisted of 3 RAS personnel shrinks down to 2 as one got sea sickness. The Sergeant could only just wait for something bad or good to happen, her hoping that the minister could get the first trade partners of Kitsuneki.

Pragri then remarked; "it's a pleasure making your acquaintance..." Continuing forward, Pragri had escorted his guest and their personal guard to what would be their temporary residence till they reached the capital of Nekaro, the City of Evermore.

As Pragri and the rest of his dispatch departed from the Inn, he had left off to the military installation in the outskirts of the city where he had left to make file his daily report and the send notice to the capital of the arrival of the Kitsuneki Delegation and their expectancy. Following all of tiresome military work, Pragri had sat back in his chair groaning at the desk work.. "Ughhh, one thing after another..."

Forwarding to the dawn of the next day, Pragri and the dispatch from his company had departed from the installation on horseback with his officer carriage in transits to the Inn of which the minister had resided for the night... Two soldiers had walked into the Inn requesting the room of which the Minister had stayed in, which they had, in turn, knocked upon his door seeing if she was awake. "Your Excellency! Pardon the intrusion, but this is the Nekoran Defense Force.... your carriage is ready for departure to the capital on behalf of Lieutenant Colonel Pragri. Time is quite limited, as such his advice to make haste.

The next day the Minister slept in, feeling relieved that she didn’t have to sleep on a ship. The two soldiers took some food from the Inn and brought it upstairs later during the day. Kim Anh awakens the Minister for breakfast and to prepare herself. The Minister brought a new suit with her on this journey and changed herself into it.

As Ye-Wong, Kim Anh and Tazu were having breakfast, someone had knocked on the door, a soldier called upon the minister from the other side of the door. The Minister left some of her food unfinished, rubbing any of the food around her lips using a piece of cloth.

She was then escorted out of the Inn, her Royal Guards behind her and boarded the carriage. In which they were now off to the capital of Nekaro, Evermore. The Ye-Wong seemed anxious to go to the capital, it’ll be a better change as infanstructure in Kitsuneki isn’t as properly funded as other nations.

Abandon houses and development in Kitsuneki has been tampered as the nation runs a self-sufficient economic plan, with the GDP declining this year, the economy was hit harder 5 years ago when farmers failed to produce a sufficient amount of crops that were able to keep the markets afloat, in response prices for food skyrocketed and the value of the Luna decreased due to the inflation. The economy still suffers from the event and buildings were abandoned due to this.

Kitsuneki roads were made of wet dirt. Infrastructure projects were discontinued and businesses couldn’t stay afloat. Most workers that lost their jobs were able to keep their property due to large investment in Social Security and tax grants from the government. Industries that have declined were also trying to be rebuilt but the lack of funding for that sector left the industries still in bad shape. Though 5 years past and still many are without jobs and a few industries are back up in their feet. She expects Evermore to be much more beautiful than Kitsuneki.

As Minister Ye-Wong and her personal guards had exited to the Inn, Lieutenant Colonel Pragri had given his morning regards to them. "Well Good Morning your excellency, I do apologize for the abruptness of my arrival, but time is scarce especially in these times in Nekaro" as he saluted to the Minister while pointing his hand over to the carriage... "Just a reminder before we depart, this trip is a days travel and there won't be any visible civilization on our route." Continuing forward to the departure of from the Inn, Pragri's carriage was regrouped with a well-armored military convoy. To why security was tight for a foreign minister is by fault Nekaro has been riddled with a resistance group known as the "Nekoran Liberation Front" which rose to notability upon the Sol-Nekaro concession, which ultimately turned Nekaro into a commonwealth of a foreign crown. However, without the concession Sol-Nekaro concession, Nekaro would have been nothing but a mere region of territorial tribes and primitive infrastructure which came ot an end when Soleanna began uplifting cities of which they deemed a key importance to them. Such as the Capital of Evermore which was but a mere wooded village on a hill now turned into a urban landscape of Classical-Cyrusian Architecture.

Upon entering the Heralds Forest, Lieutenant Colonel Pragri made a comment that this forest was once a peaceful area to travel through, till the resistance had shown up. However, reinsured to the Minister Ye-Wong that their safety is guaranteed as per se of the Sol-Nipponese Military, which presides as Nekaro's Armed Forces.

However, reinsured to the Minister Ye-Wong that their safety is guaranteed as per se of the Sol-Nipponese Military, which presides as Nekaro's Armed Forces.

“Resistance?” Said the Minister, feeling a bit concerned, though as the Lieutenant Colonel said that their safety were at the hands of the Sol-Nipponese Military, she was muddled with what he said, in Hangugeo, she asked Kim Anh for reassurance of what the soldier had said, she replied in the same dialect (Hangugeo), “I’m sure that’s what he said, our safety is provided by the Sol-Nipponese Military; Prime Minister Kazumi and Empress Akagi Taeko had visited one of the cities.” she said, muttering to herself in language (tieng Viet) “Surprised that they have a military presence in this nation, all these forest somewhat remind me of how conservative the Republican government are on the matter of tree,”

Minister Ye-Wong suddenly talks to the guard, “Sorry for the foreign dialect, I heard that our Empress and 86th Prime Minister visited Sol-Nippon once, shame that he didn’t accomplish anything, though the people were alright with his policies as he tried to better the lives of Kemonomimi’s in the Republic. Until his 3rd term where the market crashed as well as the GDP and he was voted out due to the economy plummeting that year. Though I do hope the Conservative Party’s plan of revitalizing Kitsuneki doesn’t kill the nations economy again.” She said, “I’m just hoping I don’t come here all the way for a cup of tea and biscuits like the last Prime Minister, though I am surprised that the Sol-Nippon Empire has such extensive power to govern other nations,”

Nekaro

Lieutenant Colonel Pragri was quite suspicious of his foreign guest muttering in their native tongue, wondering whether he should question them, or leave them be. However, it wasn't his place to decide, being they are of diplomatic immunity and such accusations of diplomatics would cost him his rank and status if proven wrong. Thus, Pragri left his guest alone with whatever they were muttering...

After a 4 1/2 hour travel, the convoy had transversed through the Herald's Forest and the Cackora plains, making a halting at the edges of the Tailspaw Marsh. With the more or less abrupt stop, Lieutenant Colonel Pragri muttered "We'll be making a short stop here to let the horses rest. I'm sure the bulk the convoy is hungry, and perhaps you and your guards are as well?"

As the Lieutenant Colonel seemed disturbed by Ye-Wong and Kim Anh talking, Ye-Wong kept quiet as Pragri didn’t answered her question. As they traveled a lengthy time. One in which the Prime Minister felt that she was used to, they stopped at the Marsh, the Ministers sentinels let the Lieutenant Colonel off first and then they got off the transport, then the Minister did. The Minister stretched herself and took some fresh air.

While Pragri asked if they were hungry, the minister nodded, “Yes, it has been a tiresome journey here, I believe me and my guards need some food to feast on,” she said.

As the Lieutenant Colonel and his foreign VIPs stepped off the carriage, replying to his inquiry to whether they were hungry. Pragri had clapped this his hands, mutter "Well alright! let's feast!" forwarding onward Pragri had commented "I do hope you'll find yourself enjoying a Nekaroan Cuisine, which includes tilapia, wild rice, and spinach."

Ye-Wong looks around the ecosystem, the floral life untouched and the fauna undisturbed. Kim Anh scans the environment actively and Tazu was sitting on the next to the carriage. As Pragri announces what they have for the feast, Ye-Wong wasn’t very familiar with a tilapia, as it isn’t found in Kitsuneki.
“Well I sure will enjoy, as long as there is fish in the food, I’m satisfied with it,” Ye-Wong said.

Kim Anh mutters quietly in her own dialect, “I do hate how we stop in the middle of the tracks when there could be something lurking,”

Nekaro

With the Minister finding herself in awe of the Nekoran Cuisine the Lieutenant Colonel had mentioned to what would be served... An hour had passed with the preparations of the meal. Each and every soldier of the convoy had gotten two tilapias with a scoop of rice and spinach, as so did their foreign V.I.Ps however unlike them, they were served at a table with the Lieutenant Colonel while the rest stood up or sat in down on the soil.

As Pragri had taken a bite of his fish, he looked up at the Minister and begone to converse with her questioning her... "You don't seem like the type to lurk around the woods, I can tell by your tense posture.... and the wariness of your guards."
