The Empire of Coldvar:

The Emperor has halted his troops in Dunland. His plan is to strike a province to the west. But, he wanted to give him men rest.

His soldiers are preparing to start their next march. The Imperial army's black armor dots the field they are currently in. Thousands of soldiers all waiting for the next battle.

Emperor Nikolai stands on a hill overlooking the campground. He watches as his soldiers are packing, and gearing up. His tent had been taken down before the others, he always liked an early start to the day.

Aldira is laying in the sun further down the hill from the Emperor. Her blue scales reflecting the sunlight, almost making her looks like a rainbow.

"Sir, you have received a message."

The Emperor turns around and takes the scroll from the boy. He opens it and reads. After he is done, he walks down the hill and past Aldira.

"Aldira, I need to go write up a message to the Elves of our northern province. Don't rest too long, we will be marching soon."

Aldira's head rises from the grass, he sapphire eyes stare at the Emperor.

I know. Your soldiers are hungry for more bloodshed. They might overthrow you, if you stay here any longer.

"Well, I di--"

Shouts and horns were being heard from the camp. Soldiers were scrambling to find weapons. The Emperor looks down at the chaos, and sees numerous soldiers pointing toward the horizon.

He looks seeing nothing at first, and then he sees a blob swiftly soaring above the ground.

Aldira, rises to her feet.

"Aldira, it seems we have company."

I can see that. Were you expecting anyone?

"No."

Then it may be friendly, or it may be foe.

"Well, lets find out."

The Emperor hops onto Aldira's back. And with a deafening roar, Aldira launches into the air.

Kingdom of Arthedain

--- the dragon Minyon ---

Rising high in the sky, way over the clouds, Minyon attempted to surprise the garrison over at Dunland. With a swift dash downwards, the dragon approached the battlements and reigned fire upon the soldiers unfortunate enough to have been caught underneath his fiery breath.

However, his attack was not a surprise to the flying dragon of the Empire of Coldvar; Aldira knew of Minyon's movements and flew in front of Minyon, opening her wings in a menacing stance; it was enough to force Minyon to stop his scorched earth attack and engage with Aldira in a conversation;

"Dragon of the South, my interest is not with you. I am here to punish all those that invaded the lands of the Kingdom of Arthedain, as I am now claiming these lands for myself. So if they plan to further their attacks unto my lands, then they will all perish; all, until the last man! And you, dragon, you will suffer too if you plan to interfere. Now fly away and leave me be!"

--- in Hollin ---

King Minyatur pondered on his decision; losing his throne to a dragon? Just like that? And for keeping the facade he has to fight the elves of Elvea-Falasse?

The King wished to convey his thoughts to the Sage that helped him so much in the recent times, but the Sage was still nowhere to be found. In lack of any other hope, the King turned to the dwarves of Forochel.

"King of the dwarves, my scouts have informed me that you bring the bulk of your army to march to my aid. I await you and I await your troops! We have dire matters to discuss about, and I am not too comfortable writing about them here. But as time is of the essence, I'll let you know some items so that you are better prepared when we meet in person, on the battlefields.

A mighty dragon has recently emerged from the mountains to the East; he approached me, and he declared that all my lands are now his. He is a frightening creature, and he put it upon himself to march unto the Empire of Coldvar's lands and destroy their armies; in return, he asked me to remove our friend, King Cirdan, from my lands ... or, how he put it, from his lands.

I can write more about this subject, but I fear that the dragon has powerful magic and has eyes everywhere. He even informed me of your coming to my lands, before I even knew! But his information was somewhat misleading, as he mentioned your troops coming to Hollin and to Redhorn Gate while I was here in Hollin, and you are not. So perhaps the dragon has the power of foreshadowing ... "

THE TALK FROM THE OLD UPDATE... :

Kingdom of Arthedain (message 1 of 3):

King Minyatur safely arrived in Hollin. There, he could see some farmers and animals out in the fields, but their small numbers suggest that some villagers may be emigrating in search of food. Farm improvements look rusty and broken and the smiths are half empty; both the buildings and the tools suffer from lack of repair. The King remembered that the town and the surrounding lands belonged to the Etyangoldi Alliance, once serving as their capitol.

There was still no news of the Sage, something that worried the King. He had his scouts report that on the plains of Dunland a great winged creatured had appeared, apparently in service to the emperor of the Coldvar people. King Minyatur had much of his kingdom's troops with him in Hollin and able to strike the forces stationed in Dunland but he was unsure of the strength of the creature; and the Sage was still nowhere to be found!

A secondary dark flying shape was also seen in the distance, coming from the direction of Misty Mountains and the Redhorn Gate.

Druwaith Folk (message 1 of 2):

The Dru folk still need to reclaim lost lands; They plan to recapture Anorien and Ithilien, unless the dwarves need more help. In order to be sure and to honor his friends, Garahir sent a message to the dwarf-king of the Defender's Fjord;

"King of Dwarves, we captured Dagorlad from the orcish horde and softened the blow you might have suffered on their behalf. Is there anything more you would like us to do, to honor our friendship to you? If there is none, then know that we will be marching on the Corsairs of Umbar lands. Please reply as soon as possible."

In their capitol of under the mountain, many Dru worked in secret to put together a contraption they dug from a cavern they explored a while back. It had an intricate setup and each try to start the engine made a loud noise and a resonant pulse that could be felt a long distance away.

----
Send message to the Defender's Fjord, asking if they still require help or if not they'll attack the Corsairs of Umbar

.

Trollshaw Realms (message 1 of 1):

Torogok of the trolls analyzed the request of the dwarves for peace in the northern lands. Having exhausted all other options, Torogok was inclined to accept the deal, but having demands of his own. Having that in mind, he wrote a message to be delivered personally to the ruler of Clan Frostbeard:

"The trolls of Ettenmoors are inclined to accept a normalisation of relations between them and the dwarves. However, in order to do this we require the return of our borderlines to Upper Rhudaur and High Pass. We cease the demands for the province of Angmar to show our goodwill and involvement to bring peace to these lands again.

Do you agree with these provisions? If yes, we will retake Upper Rhudaur and High Pass immediately and cease all conflict with the dwarves after."

----
Ask for peace between the Orcs and the Dwarves in return for Upper Rhudaur and High Pass

Kingdom of Arthedain (message 2 of 3):

The other mysterious flying creature that was seen flying out from the Misty Mountains and circling around King Minyatur's position turned out to be an other dragon, but of a more fiery reddish nature. After a few laps around, the dragon landed on a rock formation not too far away from where the king was camped in Hollin.

As if this was not enough, the dragon apparently could talk the common tongue, or, at least, was understood telepathically by King Minyatur, as the dragon called the king to him. Curious and drawn in, the king went to inspect the sight, along side a large detachment of soldiers.

At the rock formation, as the king approached the dragon, the dragon rose up and started talking:
"I am the dragon Minyon and I have awoken from my slumber from the depths of the mountains to rescue you and your people from a terrible fate at the hands of the Coldvar Empire. More than that, I am here to tell you, king of the Arthedain folk, that you are a weak king! Even as you are residing here in the glorious town of Hollin, you have failed to notice a party of dwarves that went past you and infiltrated in to Redhorn Gate. You do not deserve to be on that throne, and after I am done with the enemies of your land then I will assume your throne. "

King Minyatur felt shaken to the core by the conversation. He wanted to open his mouth and contest the claims of the dragon but some sort of sorcery made it so that his lips were sealed. The dragon then continued.

"I see you want to talk? Is there something you'd like to negociate? To offer me in return of you keeping your rule and your land? Fairly well. You can act as my regent and follow my rule, and I will dominate your lands and the lands of any of your foes; but only if you do my following bidding; the ruler of the kingdom of Elvea-Falasse has spent so much of his time on your lands and he has not accounted for his actions. You, if you so decide, to meet him in Northern Cardolan, to engage him with your army and to forcefully make him return to Mithlond or those elf lands beyond the sea, I will keep you as my puppet on the throne of the Kingdom of Arthedain.

Now I go and finish the army of the Empire of Coldvar and deal with their lesser flying beings. By the time I return you should have made your choice."

And so the dragon flew away and king Minyatur regained his voice, and, to a lesser extent, his spirit. He pondered on his decision to attack Elvea-Falasse's troops stationed in Northern Cardolan; it was his ally, yet they did nothing but eat and party and bar access to the province for such a long time that the king couldn't even remember the start of it.

But this was not a reason for armed justice ... no. The point in question was how much Minyatur wanted his throne. He was feeling his ring on his hand for all this time. He wanted the throne ...

And what was all that about dwarves? Clan Frostbeard has yet to send any dwarf parties to his aid ...

Etyangoldi Alliance (message 1 of 2):

The commander of the Etyangoldi Alliance forward expedition sent a message to the emperor of Coldvar

"Emperor Nikolai Naves, the Etyangoldi have marched into the Kingdom of Arthedain lands and have successfully conquered Eryn Vorn. We hope that this marks the beginning of our land reclamation. However, do you plan to forward your march into their lands as well? If you come to a peace with the humans of Arthedain then we fear that the retribution towards the Etyangoldi will be swift. However, if you advance into their lands then I am certain that the Etyangoldi can strike alongside you, by conquering the bordering provinces and weakening their kingdom."

Send a message to the Empire of Coldvar, asking if they plan to continue their attacks on the Kingdom of Arthedain as the Etyangoldi plans to attack more

Clan Frostbeard (message 1 of 2):

---- Baldur's Company ----

"... I'm telling you! with big bat like wings and all. You would have seen it if you weren't looking at that shiny rock"
, said Krenrok while looking at the sky from time to time: "and was that shiny thing anyway?"

"Mithril... a really small amount", replied Baldur:"... this might be why the elves attacked this mines in the first place... but why didn't King Mynotaur told my cousin?". Baldur scratched the surface of the rock with his fingernails and analyzed the sediments up close.

"Maybe he didn't realize...", said another dwarf: "I mean... looked at this place, why would they keep the corpse of dwarfs discomposing like this? Unless he secretly hate us... Don't looked me like that, you know what I mean..."

The scene was edious for the dwarvish eyes, wagons fulled of dwarven corpse discomposing at day light, some of them half chewed,
the recognizable work done by a troll jaw.

"Well I don't see it but I tell you what... things are gonna get worst, look at the size of that...", Krenrok pointed at the sky one more time.

The growl of thunder in the distance followed by the heavy rain made the landscape and inferno of foul-smell, yellow-brown water washed over the road and started to cover the feet of the dwarves as the followed the trails to the east, a laborious task.

Baldur shuddered, not only from the cold damp, but from contemplation of the disgusting precipitation pouring down on the already nasty corpse in the uncovered wagons.

The rain continued, as the company crossed the pass of the mountain in deep silence, way to show their respect to the victims of the profane acts that occurred there.

"Behold!", said Baldur, the other dwarves eyes followed where the dwarf's finger was pointing: "Down there are the banks of Mirrormere lake... be on your guard lads"

Broken Tooth Tribe (message 1 of 1):

Snicklefritz’ forces lay scattered in a semblance of order – as much as could be managed at the tip of a sword. Following the resounding victory in Dorwinion, there had been disagreement as to how to proceed. The orc chieftain naturally desired to follow the momentum further into the Dwarven lands. However, a few of his captains had other ideas.

The orcish forces had been separated for some time, with each operating somewhat independently beneath the leadership of an appointed captain. Some of these captains had begun to feel their oats, believing they were owed this command on a more permanent basis. When Snicklefritz regathered the horde, these captains resented their percieved loss of power. And just as their bitterness began to boil over, opportunity arrived in the form of wolf riders from the south – the Dru had retaliated for the conquest of their province.

Let the horde split, once again, to deal with this threat,” one of his captains shouted. “Give us back our previous commands, and we will retake that province,” cried another.

Worse than dwarves, even worse than stinkin’ humans, Snicklefritz hated disobediant orcs the most. What gives them the right to disobey? What makes them think they have any rights at all?

The seething orc chieftain gathered his wolf cavalry and set to work stamping out the fires of revolt. This is just what one must deal with when attempting to lead orcs. Orcs are most skilled at killing other orcs, and it is an itch that must be scratched, now and again, to maintain a proper orcish army.

Now that order had been restored, and his rebellious captains executed, Snicklefritz had decided to pursue the option of retaliating against the Dru. This was the desired outcome of his dead captains, and he would pursue that course now out of spite. In the end, spite was the best motivator and the most proper reason for action.

"Will you be returning back this way after your this? Is quite nice, isn't it?", asked High Commander Toremrouk.

King Dralvik barely paid the dwarf any attention. He was focused on the horizon towards the elven shores layid. He was concern about his elven friend sinces his armied marched across Northen Cardolan had passed trough several elven soldiers chanting in a really sad way, something was not right.

"If I return from this campaign, I will probably go that way to see the Grey Heavens with my own eyes", said Dralvik. He could see down in the meadow, the liutenants paying their respective divisions for the use of the near villages's food, wine, and water.

"My King, friend...", said Toremrouk with concern: "Is your mind beginning a march due West? As the old books said that will just lead you to the shores of Valinórë... We need you here friend, your people need you here."

"You just make certain our folks are safe and ready", said the Dralvik with a grin. "Let me worry about my mind and heart's direction."

Toremrouk smiled back and left Dralvik alone in his tent.

Dralvik stared across his table, looking for a way to write down the current events in his journal seeing his reflection in a spoon. What he did not see was scout's reflection.

"My lord", the scout greeted and continued: "They have reached the hills of Dunland by now, an sureally are ready to move further into barring any mishaps in the forest. A part of their troops moves really fast, even in heavy armor, they don't look like common humans but an army of lesser dragons..."

"Let me see the map again", Dralvik called to his scout. "Aren't their surrounded? there is no way they could attack? that would be mad"

"We are not sure about how are they gonna act. There's something odd with this southernes, we have sentries posted in the swamps to the east", said the scout and revealling a scroll added: "We also have word from King Mynatur, here...", the scout saluted and went towards the entrence.

Dralvik looked down again at his reflection, which seemed to be distorting image as the scout left the tent. Then he looked back to the scroll unsealed it and have a read.

A chill ran down his spine, as Snicklefritz the Orc's words returned to his mind "We are both a gruff and straightforward people – our intentions able to be read right on our faces. Unlike the Men and the Elves, of whose intent one can never be sure, and whose word can never be trusted. They are adept at hiding behind their faces. And it is they who pose the gravest threat."

Dralvik shoocked his head, and read the scroll once again. And reading out loud said, "... remove our friend, King Cirdan..."; his chest was heavy almost making a really efort to breathe.

"Toremrouk!", finally cryied Dralvik.

"Aye?", Toremrouk rushed in with his war pick raised up, "What is it Dralvik? Are you alright?

"I, I need to go to Hollin. I need to talk to King Minyatur, I will take my guard with me... be ready", Dralvik said has he grave his helmet and put on his cloak leaving the tent.

Toremrouk, heavily confused and alone in the tent said: "Aye... wait, what?"

Corsairs of Umbar

Commander Angamaith of the Corsairs was ashamed. Ashamed that his forces have been pushed back from the lands of Rohan and beyond by this savage tribe of men, the Druwaith. More than that, the commander began to lack the respect of the forces under his command, as this happens quite often in the Corsair's ranks after a campaign marked with a significant number of defeats.

The Corsairs like success and honor the commander that brings spoils of war, yet in the same time the Corsairs punish the commander that brings death and, otherwise, any difficulty in collecting gold or more troops in order to balance the the toil of war.

Under these circumstances, commander Angamaith's best course of action is to pack things and move back to Umbar with any rewards they still possess; the ire of the Druwaith folk is still not appeased, and Angamaith does like to keep his head on his shoulders.

Trollshaw Realms

The trolls of Ettenmoors were happy and were cheering on for Torogok. Under his rule the Trollshaw Realms peaked as a strong faction, and the goal to punish the humans that mistreated the Trolls for so many years was accomplished tenfold. Even if the days where the trolls had human slaves from the captured lands are long gone, the memories of those times are fresh in the minds of the trolls.

Now, with the agreement with the dwarves for peace and unity, the trolls have to start living under more peaceful conditions. Some of them displease this and make such claims like trolls are not vegetarians, trolls have to eat fresh meat, best meat is human meat, dwarf meat, orc meat, elf meat, etcetera. Its a small minority, and one that Torogok has to appease to and to reassure, in one way or another.

The first step is, obviously, to reclaim Upper Rhudaur and High Pass; if the action to reclaim Upper Rhudaur was already discussed between Clan Frostbeard and Trollshaw, there was no contact made between the Defender's Fjord and Trollshaw, and it might come as a surprise to the dwarves of the east.

Druwaith Folk

The Dru soldiers finally recaptured their ancient lands of Ithilien and the lands of Anorien that were shared with the previous stweard of Rohan. And in order to serve the final blow to the Corsairs and to punish their transgressions, the Dru forces would unite and strike on Harondor, the main garrison of the Corsairs of Umbar in Middle Earth.

The Druwaith were significantly worried by the appearance of a vast orcish horde on the barren plains of Dagorlad. With the bulk of their forces way beyond the mountain ranges of Rohan, the armies of Druwaith were cut in half and susceptible to a strike from the Broken Tooth Tribe.

That being said, the Druwaith sent a message to the dwarf friend of Defender's Fjord:
"We still have not heard anything from you. Know that we agreed to help you in your fight against the orcs, and know that now they are targeting our lands. Bring reinforcements."

Kingdom of Arthedain

---- In Hollin, at the meeting of the two Kings ----

King Minyatur welcomed King Dralvik of the dwarves of Clan Frostbeard and his loyal guards to the garrison of Hollin. After a gracious but quick welcoming, King Minyatur cut right to the issue:

"We do not have much time. The fearsome dragon I wrote to you in our earlier message was last seen heading to battle the enemy troops stationed in Dunland. I have every certitude that those soldiers camped there stand no chance against his powers. And I am certain that, after he is done with them, he will return here to claim his throne.

He grows bigger and more powerful with each passing moment, and I do not know what gives him this much power; When he first appeared he was shadowing half of the skies and now he occupies the whole sky! And I find it ever more harder to resist the urge to just cave in and give him my throne.

I have called you here as a last resolve, before I lose my mind. I tell you, sincerely, that I have all the admiration for king Cirdan of the Elvea-Falasse, but his lack of interest in the matters of Middle Earth is very disconcerning. Last I know of, my personal Sage - that has since disappeared - informed me that he believes that King Cirdan's soul is no longer present in Middle Earth and that whatever happens in the province of Northern Cardolan, where his body resides, is part of some black magic that is indubitably going to turn against me unless I take action.

And now this dragon asks me to take the same level of action if I want to keep my throne. And I'm just about deciding to do it."

---- On the plains of Dunland ----

The dragon Minyon still awaits to see what the dragon Aldira of the Empire of Coldvar plans to do, before attacking the troops stationed in the province. The dragon Minyon last advised Aldira to leave the battlefield or else face dire consequences.

Broken Tooth Tribe

From a hilltop, Snicklefritz looked down upon the legions of orcs spilling across the plains, his mouth broken into a toothy grin. An orcish tide pusing inexorably westward. He was focused, certain, and he now wielded his army like a spear. Earlier instances of indecision had passed like a mist from his mind. This is often the case for an orc leader: gather enough orcs at his back, and the sheer numbers can propel him into confidence and clarity.

The human tribes of the east would no longer be a problem, of this he was sure. His scouts brought news of the corsairs’ withdawal to the coast, following their defeat by the Dru. And the Dru, though their eyes were likely filled with visions of a new dawn for their people, were blind to the clouds that were gathering at their backs. But Snicklefritz could see them. For he rode at the front of those storm clouds like the wild hunt that is sometimes seen charging across the sky, heralding doom for those poor souls who bear witness.

But the orc chieftain’s gaze was already looking beyond the lands of the Druwaith. The corsairs’ lands would be easily swept up, perhaps shared with his allies in Coldvar, those cold men who alone redeemed their race. The dwarves to the north had been properly rebuked for ther impositions. They would likely continue to be a nuisance in the future, but nothing more, and he would revisit them later with more finality.

When the eastern lands lay cowed beneath his boots, he could cross those mountains into the west with an empire at his back. Man and Dwarf and Elf, then, would together be forced to treat with him on equal footing. And should they refuse, he would grab them by the hair and drag them to the table, though they be mewling all the while like whelps weaned too soon from their mother’s teat.

Such were the visions playing in Snicklefritz’ mind when a newly-promoted captain standing nearby cleared his throat.

“And what are your orders, chieftain?” The young captain had a look of concern after having to stand and watch while his war chief seemingly stared into the distance for no discernible reason. “Do we follow the bulk of their forces south, or push on into the heart of their territories?”

“Both,” he replied, a smile again breaking across his face. “You will veer south with a portion of the army and those reinforcements arriving from the capitol. And I will continue on with the main army deeper into Dru lands. Between the two of us, it’ll be a simple matter, really. Less battle than burden, at this point. You'll be walking on clouds the whole while 'till you meet back up with us in the north!"

Snicklefritz wasn't even bothered by the look of obvious confusion on the young orc's face as he left. Not even the stony minds of his underlings could darken his present mood. He drifted, once again, to the future and what waited for him there. No cloud marred the clear skies of his mind, and he was having trouble, at the moment, even recalling what poor weather felt like.

Tulin Ironflow was ceaseless into throwing his soldiers and himself headfirst into the most dangerous battlefields. He may prove to be brave beyond belief, but his troops dislike his habit of putting himself in harm's way. This man wouldn't even know how to spell 'fear', let alone feel any when confronting his enemies, even if such engagements have given him some gruesome scars - and even one or two war wounds that trouble him from time to time.

Hear me Northern Dragon! These are my people, and my soldiers. I fly with Emperor Nikolai Naves, as he rules over this Empire. Any attack on his soldiers is an attack on the nation that I love. So stand down or perish with your foolishness!

--- the dragon Minyon, high in the sky ---

The fiery dragon listened to Aldira for long enough; the decision to side with the men below instead of with an other dragon must be punished! "So be it!", Minyon shouted towards Aldira.

Shortly after the shout, the dragon started to quickly flap his wings, sparkling the air around him and creating a small flare that temporarily blinded all nearby, including the sight of the other dragon, Aldira. Now having succesfully disoriented her, Minyon took a deep breath before breathing a huge flowing stream of fire and highly viscous lava towards Aldira, hitting her front body and a big part of her left wing and tail.

The high temperature molten lava was inches away from striking Emperor Nikolai who was on Aldira's back, but she managed to regain control and spiral down towards the ground and bring the Emperor to safety. In the mean time, Minyon turned his attention towards the land of Dunland, starting to spew fire and lava powerful enough to destroy entire villages and to char any creatures or men residing in and around them. His next target is the 4000 strong army tightly packed in the castle of Dunland hill - an easy prey.

The Empire of Coldvar:

Aldira lands hard, and her legs slightly falter. Her front body has scales and burnt skin. Her usual blue color has been blackened, and charred. Nikolai watches his companion, anger reflecting in his eyes.

Aldira looks at the Emperor. An understanding passes between them. Nikolai jumps off her back. He nods.

She turns to the sky, and with a loud roar she launches. She flies hard straight at the Northern dragon, slamming into his underside. She clamps her jaws around the dragons throat.

Minyon starts to struggle, and tears his throat out of Aldira's deadly jaws. Blood cascades down his body. A large wound is left where Aldira had grabbed.

They both pull away from each other. Their wings keeping them at each others level.

Minyon turns, fury in his eyes, and openes his maw. Before he could unleash his flames, Aldira pushes her wings hard, and soars straight up.

Minyon shuts his mouth, and starts to follow the southern dragon. His larger size makes it hard to chase the smaller dragon.

Aldira disappears into the clouds. Minyon stops his eyes scanning the sky above. Searching in vain for her. He feels a shift in the air. A large bolt of light shatters the sky.

The Northern Dragon feels excruciating pain lance through his right wing. His wing fails, and his body starts going into a free fall. He slams into the ground, and loud cracks could be heard as bones in his body snapped like twigs.

Minyon looks up into the sky, and see lightning scattering across it. The clear day, had turned into a dark storm. He saw the southern dragon slowly descend from the clouds.

Her eyes were bright white, and her crystals across her back had electricity dancing between them. Her front and wing were still very burnt, but she lands with grace.

You are the fool Minyon. You came here looking for easy prey, but you were taught that no one can stand against the Empire. It's might, and strength are unmatched. Even a mighty dragon met it's demise. I will let you have some final words, before the Emperor kills you.

Aldira looks at the Emperor who is standing a few feet away. Nikolai unsheathe his sword.

A cowardly retreat .... and one swiftly denied again by Aldira, who flew after Minyon and hit him with a lightning bolt. Minyon's silhouette on the horizon tumbled as he temporarily lost consciousness and plummeted towards the ground.

This sight drew thousand voices of pure joy rose from the assembled masses down below, joined seconds later by a deafening drawn-out thud from the collapsing monster as if the earth itself was drawing a sigh of relief. The body of Minyon disintegrated into a pool of lava that quickly hardened into a rock resembling a shell of a large egg, ever so pulsating.

Corsairs of Umbar (message 1 of 1):

Trollshaw Realms (message 1 of 1):

Druwaith Folk (message 1 of 1):

Kingdom of Arthedain (message 1 of 3):

Broken Tooth Tribe (message 1 of 1):

Woodland Enclave (message 1 of 1):

Tulin Ironflow was ceaseless into throwing his soldiers and himself headfirst into the most dangerous battlefields. He may prove to be brave beyond belief, but his troops dislike his habit of putting himself in harm's way. This man wouldn't even know how to spell 'fear', let alone feel any when confronting his enemies, even if such engagements have given him some gruesome scars - and even one or two war wounds that trouble him from time to time.

He is looking at his dwarf ally with dissatisfaction, as Tulin believes that he does not like taking risks, which make his attacks - if they ever come - predictable. Tulin is taking all upon himself to disturb and disrupt the Broken Tooth hold on the northern lands.

The Empire of Coldvar (message 1 of 2):

"Dragon of the South, my interest is not with you. I am here to punish all those that invaded the lands of the Kingdom of Arthedain, as I am now claiming these lands for myself. So if they plan to further their attacks unto my lands, then they will all perish; all, until the last man! And you, dragon, you will suffer too if you plan to interfere. Now fly away and leave me be!"

The Emperor heard these words as he sat on Aldira's back.

Hear me Northern Dragon! These are my people, and my soldiers. I fly with Emperor Nikolai Naves, as he rules over this Empire. Any attack on his soldiers is an attack on the nation that I love. So stand down or perish with your foolishness!

Nikolai smiles as he hear these words.

--------------------

General Elkins watches the conversation in the sky.

"What should I do?"

He quickly looks over the troops. He stops and grabs a messenger.

"Travel to the capital and request reinforcements. Tell them to hurry!"

The messenger nods his head, and runs.

Kingdom of Arthedain (message 2 of 3):

His next target is the 4000 strong army tightly packed in the castle of Dunland hill - an easy prey

Clan Frostbeard (message 2 of 2):

---- In Hollin, at the meeting of the two Kings ----

"I'm not going to lie to you, Amlaith. When you wrote me about a dragon I thought that your mind left your body... but now that I see you in the eyes I can tell you are actually concern... ", Dralvik said to King Minyatur while combing his beard

Dralvik continued: "It brings sadness to my heart to see that you are actually thinging between perrisisng your friends life and surrend yourself to a dragon... As a bearer of Azaghâl´s helmet I can't bear that... Think lad! we have the forces to put this evil creature to the abyss. You don't have to cross your friends!"

Dralvik pointed at the west and said: "There lies my army ready to strike, I have an oath towards you and I will help you... but it's up to you to decide where to strike... that said I informed you that no harm will fall upon any, and I mean any Elf from Elves-Falasse, at least not from my folk... you decide of King of Men", Dralvik aproached Minyatur and looked him and with a solem tone said: "Amlaith, my friend, your people needs you..."

The Empire of Coldvar (message 2 of 2):

"Speak now, Minyon. Do you have anyone who would like to know you are dead? Do you have something you wish to say before you die? And where would you like to be buried?"

.
.

Kingdom of Arthedain (message 3 of 3):

--- the dragon Minyon ---

<< How did this happen?! >> - this question was consuming Minyon's mind ... << this is impossible!! >>

Gathering all of his remaining power, Minyon arose from the ground, pushed Aldira into a nearby rock formation and launched himself forward towards the sky.

"You have been warned, yet you did not listen. Farewell, Minyon!" were the last words of Aldira before charges of static electricity hit the rock formation, breaking it down in a million lesser pieces.

The dragon Minyon is defeated

Elvea-Falasse

--- at Hollin ---

The discussions between King Amlaith Minyatur of the Kingdom of Arthedain and King Dralvik of the Clan Frostbeard were disturbed by the sudden entry of an Arthedain diplomat; apparently, King Cirdan of the Elvea-Falasse, just arrived at the castle!

Hasty preparations were made to greet the elf king; not a lot was to be done since many of them were already prepared for the meeting with the dwarf - what's more than to add an other chair to the room?

King Minyatur greeted first; "Esteemed leader of elves, welcome back among those that are living! We have not heard any news from you since you burrowed yourself in Northern Cardolan - we couldn't even reach you as all roads were blockaded by many of your troops, barring access to whatever happened in my regions! What have you to say about this? Speak now, while we are still friends!"

King Cirdan had other plans, however. He acknowledged both Kings ... "Brothers, I find you both here" he added, while catching his breath. "Curufinwe Fallenstar is, finally, defeated!" The two kings of Men and Dwarves looked puzzled.

"Know that I have been in a mental lock-down between Curufinwe and myself for now what feels to be an eternity; I, and many of my troops, entered a deep meditation and fought off the entity we knew as Curufinwe Fallenstar - he was more than an elf, I dare to say! We thought that we have bested him in the fields, but he merely changed his shape!

When news of this came about my ears, I knew that things were grave. I tried to contact you but I could sense his powers extending all around Middle Earth and his shape turning into a dark spawn creation, a flying creature of terrifying appetite for destruction. As time was short, I gave orders not to be disturbed and entered the meditation state in which my mind seeked his mind and tried to fight him off in this mental state while he was still weak.

This fight drew all of my strength away and I fear that my days here in Middle Earth have came to their end. I managed to lock Curufinwe into the fight and that part of him was engaging me. However, his powers were way beyond mine, and I felt that he managed to assume a mortal shape and walk the lands again - while building his strength.

He was Feanaro the Sage, king Minyatur! He knew I was the one fighting him and he knew that he needed to seed distrust between our forces, enough to make you want to remove myself and my soldiers from the mental lockdown we were in with a part of his soul.

Alas, he was slowly but surely wearing down our forces, and many of them have their flame of life almost extinguished due to the stress of this engagement. In the latter stages of this fight he managed to best us, and had enough strength to assume an other shape - the dragon, the dragon Minyon!

But luck shines from where we least expect! The forces of the South, of the Empire of Coldvar ... they have a Dragon for themselves! Curufinwe in the shape of the dragon Minyon engaged this dragon of Coldvar and, somehow, it weakened Curufinwe enough for me to reassume control of the mental battle and, together with the battle between the dragons ... brothers, we won!"

King Cirdan feinted for a second, managing to hold his ground by catching the end of a nearby table.
"Know this much. The Empire of Coldvar most likely saved us all. Now know that I, and those with me, are marching back to Mithlond and we will be leaving for Valinor."

Move all troops back to Mithlond.

It had seemed to King Alexius that a great sleep had fallen across the land, a sleep that had not been matched since before the awakening of the elves. But, that sleep seems to have passed, and times were ending, the end of an age. He could feel it deep in his bones. The trolls had attacked High Pass, with an army easily he could defeat. But the Druwaith he aided him, and now he must aid them, or all his gold may be forfeit! To riches or ruin, whatever awaits. Likely ruin, he knew this. So he penned a message to Dralvik, his loyal ally through all.

Dralvik,
My brother, this age of Middle Earth is coming to an end, I can feel it deep in my bones. Surely you can too. The Trolls have invaded High Pass, and I suspect they have attacked you as well. But I care not. The Druwaith have aided me by attacking the allies of the Orcs, and now they are beset by them. So I ride, to riches or ruin, to their aid. Likely ruin. If only things had gone differently, if we had eliminated the Orcs quickly. If Queen Barazturg had lived. If only we had destroyed the Trolls when we had the chance. But now, you fight the Coldvar, and I fight the Orcs. I pray to the Valar I see you on the other side, my friend.
With that, he sent his thoughts to Dralvik. Now, he sends a rider to Garahir with following message:
Garahir of the Druwaith,
My ally, King Tulin of Mirkwood, has taken all but the eastern section of Rhovanion. I now ride for Dagorlad, on the borders of Mordor. I will liberate this region from the evil of the Orcish Horde, and then, we will see. I ride for riches or ruin, for both our sakes.
Lastly, he knows the Trolls, though dimwitted, are not to be ignored.

Torogok of Ettenmoors!
What is the meaning of this dastardly attack on my realm! Explain your actions!
He sent every rider on their way and sat down. He rubbed his head. He looked up at the mirror. He said to himself. "In so small an amount of time, I look so much older!" He sat down again, and sat there, thinking.
------
Send the above messages.
Attack Dagorlad with 3000 dwarves.
Move remaining 1820 dwarves and hero to Gray Mountain

"The Empire of Coldvar most likely saved us all?", quoted Dralvik: "give me a break... how do we know to you are actually Cirdan? You left us with out a warning and now everything is fix? And What's the matter with you Amlaith?!".

The dwarven king look at King Minyatur in the eyes and continued: "Do you have any clue what I had to choose to move my forces to your aid? I had the oportunity to aid my dwarven- brother King Alexius who is struggling in the east against a massive orc force..."

Dralvik kept hitting the table, flipping the utensils he had at hand: "... to think that I worry about your whereabouts Cirdan... What are your folks gonna do against the alliance between Empire of Coldvar and the Etyangoldi Alliance?, Did you know that the evil-hearted elves are incursing in your land? My scouts are informing report after report about this... so to accept that the Empire of Coldvar did something for the good of the free-folk is something that I can't not belive... maybe if was a distraction! for my beard!"

The room was silent. The elven king and the human king were looking down processing this information, something that apparently they did not know.

"Lucky for you Cirdan...", Dralvik continued: "I do care about your kin and our friendship, and if everything goes as planned thane Nrulvim, thane of the Blue Mountains is marching towards Lindon to aid the elves... I hopw he can defeat them. As for your Amlaith, King Minyatur. Man up Amlaith!... Arise King Minyatur descendent of the House of Elros, the Half-elf for your time is now! Your letter showed a claire example that your mind was blurred, but I'm here cause I belive in you!

Arise King of Arthedain! you have your allys united here.

Arise King! For Eriador. For the free-people, let's make a last effort!

My kings! Ride out with me. Ride out with me and lead those evil forces to the abyss!

Let this be the time that we draw swords together and free Middle Earth!

Let's dismiss the Emperor and the rest of the evil force from Middle Earth... Ride with me!"

The rest of the diners could feel their hearts beating faster upon hearing Dralvik's words.
