Awesome work everyone!
I tried to do some curebombing of our fellow nations before I went to sleep.
Tricky game devs, stopping the research during the night. But happy to see you guys on positions fighting!
Noldoria and Dwarf
Having a region with 0 zombies is a great feat, considering that we're no small region! Hard work was put into this.
Now I just wonder two things:
- is there a different census at the end if we have 0 zombies and are password-locked or if we aren't?
- should we help our allies and friend regions or just keep our borders secure?
No particular list in my head. It's not even a requirement of us, but considering that we're all safe here I'll go with my few helper-nations and assist some of our most unfortunate allies and friends. I am not asking anyone to do the same!
By the way, Y'all should take a quick look at the current leaderboard for "Most Survivors + No Infected". Ok, well, I did screenshot it - but it might change at any time. Middle Earth is NUMBER FRIGG'N ONE in the World! Woho!
Tatarica, Lady Galadriel, Dwarf, and Iskellian
Those of you that wander outside Middle Earth to help our friends, the borders of our region are now password-locked for the duration of the event.
If you do not know the password, feel free to Telegram Noldoria or myself for a quick access. Please telegram us from your own nation (that we know) and not from puppets, since others might want the password of our region to crash things around.
Thanks and amazing work again!

If you hit them their weapons are going to get reset for around 1 minute, so you can cripple their attacks (and cure them in the same time).
Unfortunately there is not a lot we can do to keep their region at 0 infectivity, we helped as much as we can. But as the region is not password secure, outside parties that play with zombie hordes can visit and undo all that we did.
Personally, I find it to be an uphill battle, since even if you block that one particular nation they just come with their alts and it turns into a battle of who has more alts and more free time for what amounts to be no gain for either party (except maybe for ego).
I might come back later to Lothlorien and help them again, after disruptive parties are done.
Woah, amazing job. Pretty impressive to top the leaderboard.
Very impressive!
It's very sweet of you to come over and cure Lothlorien which was I think fast asleep!
I have ejected and banned KHATTAB, and told them they can come back if they like once the whole zombiefication event is over.
Democratic Peeps Republic of Korea, Noldoria, and Dwarven Mines
Yeah - thats what I ended up doing - just hitting them with cure missiles as fast as possible.
Game mechanics question: If someone researches zombie hordes and can then attack with them, but you cure them to zero zombies, does that disable their ability to infect other nations?
Lady Galadriel key-code protected Lothlorien now, so it should be safe.
Yes, I can confirm that if they have under x% zombies they cant attack anymore. If they have 0 zombies they cant even zombify their nation. Unless of course they reinfect themselves from another zombie horde nation
You are all very generous with your healing abilities. :)
Awesome job guys! Middle Earth is in first place for most survivors and no infected! :D
Actually if they are embracing Zombies, even if you cure them down to 0, they can regain. Though not sure if they can regain if there are no zombies in the region.
But they can regain for sure if they are other zombies in the region even if no one attacks them. I've been trying to cure one lol.
Just cure the rest of the region and he will soon follow! ;p
If you have moved outside of the region to help others please do not forget to come back to Middle Earth, at least until the end of the event!
As you can see in the news post, additional new difficulty thrown in: temporary influence-cost-free Zombie Border Control disabled. Sneaky.
Think that as we were among the first to erradicate all the zombies in the region our cure researches stalled, since there are no more zombies to research on. Interesting implementation. Our region is still at "Antibodies Discovered" stage of the Cure, and the only nations that have higher values of cure stages are those that went out and helped our friend regions after our own cleanse. I found it odd why I had only cure level 2 on Tatarica even if I clicked research cure since the event started.
