I can use it to sabotage and spy on the Black hawks

Matroyska has just CTEd. Matroyska was a key member of the Loranian community, a unifying force, a kind individual who everyone could respect. Matroyska rarely got into arguments like most of the region. Matroyska passed influential reforms, made policy changes and was one a friendly member of the community whom I was very close to. They were one of the first to notice how the region was falling apart, and soon after announced their departure from the site.

Now we are less than a week away from the closure of Lorania, and it has felt like the longest 2 months of my time on NS. I hereby re-affirm the importance that if you have any concerns, ideas or things you need to bring to my attention, I am only one TG away, please don't be afraid to make contact. We must now plan the closure of the region.

While a lot of this must remain secret, I can reveal some stuff about guardian puppets. If you want to have a guardian puppet in the region, please move the nation in and contact me from your nation that you resided in/reside in Lorania with, telling me which nation is your puppet. I aim to banject all non-guardian puppet nations in the week or two following the passwording of the region. This is for security, to prevent us being stealth-raided. I might be ok with letting some nations in after the CTEing in exceptional circumstances. However, who I will allow to have guardian puppets will be at my own discretion. Namely, I will most likely only allow nations who have been heavily involved in Lorania (such as being a frequent RMB poster or a former government member). This is for the security of the region.

Hope that everyone is ok, and it's only a few days until we can lay this matter to rest.

It's been known for a while that Cousethii is my grauniad puppet - admittedly with no Owen Joneses, Polly Toynbees, or Jonathan Wilsons around to entertain you lot.

How frequent is considered frequent?

Tsereia wrote:How frequent is considered frequent?

The final decision is up to me, I am loosely basing it upon the criteria mentioned, however I will make the final decision of who I allow to be a guardian puppet. These criteria aim to prevent new nations (where there is a chance of one or two of them being spies/raider 'sleeper' puppets) from having guardian puppets in the region. This is for security purposes. I will only make nations that I almost completely trust into guardian puppets, as there is a significant security risk once the founder has CTEd.

Looks like Lorania founder's last activity was 57 days ago.
This region had a good run.
But now, it's doomed.

We are now only one day away from the closure of the region, if you wish to be have a guardian puppet then please TG me immediately, as I will not be giving the password to anyone once the region has been passworded.

It won't be long now until a chapter will be closed in this community's history, yes it may not have gone how we wanted, we may have had so many divisions, arguments, unnecessary conflicts and times that we regret. But so much has been built up here. It is a shame that I have to close what has been the place of so many great (as well as a lot of bad) memories for so many people.

Sail Nation do you want me to move out or stay here?

So many memories here. One of my all time favorite regions!

2-4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid wrote:Sail Nation do you want me to move out or stay here?

Do whatever you think is best, I'm allowing long-time residents of the region to stay here for now, and will only be ejecting the really new or somewhat suspicious nations.

The region is officially secured now, and I will start ejecting nations that I deem are either suspicious, or have only been here for a short time, or that have not been a major part of the community. I will also start closing embassies.

Once most of this is complete, I will send a final RMB message in a few days time.

EDIT: I'm going to hold off an the ejecting nations for now. I'll give nations a chance to leave first. I recommend that you either register as a guardian puppet or leave over the next few days.

I think it's obvious whose puppet I am from.

It's sail

Yes, definitely sail

Hey sail, I think you've made a mistake. Waldoven puppet 2 is your puppet

You finally made it happen, a regional apocalypse. How clever.

I'll make an election archive when I can.

To all those who may be reading this, Lorania is now officially closed as a region, a region that was once thriving, active, full of friends who would chat, debate, legislate, roleplay, be political and much more. It is sad to see the region in the state that it is now, but that is due to infighting and decline that we all need to forget about but learn from.

The region has been the place where I most felt at home for much of the first UK lockdown and the time after that. The same goes for so many residents and many former residents of the region. However now it is time for it to lay quiet, presumably for the next few months and years. It will remain here for people to reminisce over days gone by, to be preserved for NS historians, to be here to keep our legacy, and own our legacy.

While I am someone known for my long, complicated speeches on the RMB (some much better than others), I unfortunately don't have any words for this, I never thought that I would have to close the region.

So I end by quoting Hamilton, a musical that we all would spend time chatting about before the region all descended into chaos:

Let me tell you what I'd wish I'd known when I was young and dreamed of glory: You have no control who lives (or CTEs in an NS context), who dies, who tells your story....

But when you're gone who remembers your name? Who keeps your flame? Who tells your story?

Who lives, who dies, who tells your story?

It has been an honour to be part of this region, I thank everyone who has been part of this. For the last time, thank you, from a former PM

Iíd like to say a few goodbyes to the nations I (sadly) wonít be sharing a region with on the future:

Matroyska - Youíve been a great regionmate to me, and Iíll never forget your great service to Lorania, as well as your entirely lower-case RMB posts. I wish you the very best in your future, and youíre always welcome to return to us on NS whenever you feel like it. Farewell Matroyska.

Skundi - I never really got to know you very well, which is a deep shame, as everyone who knew you, held you in very high esteem. It was your recruitment TG that brought me to Lorania, and for that, Iím eternally grateful. Farewell Banana Duck, I will miss you very much.

Cousethii - Youíre the most well educated person Iíve ever met online, and one of the most funniest. It was a pleasure to serve alongside you in the HoC, and even more so to share a region with you. Just like Matroyska said, you should really consider a legal career IRL. Thanks for everything youíve done, not just for me, but for all of this region. Farewell Cousethii, I hope we can keep loosely in-touch.

Devionsa - Iíve never met anyone so nice and forgiving as you, in that sense you were a role model for all of us. If anyone was feeling down, you always managed to comfort them, always seeing the bright side in every situation. Thatís how Iíll remember you, Devi. Farewell, and good luck for the future.

Seven Seas - When you were PM, I heavily criticised you, for which Iím very sorry. I still cannot figure out how you won youíre second election victory, itís a puzzle for the ages! I wish you good luck in Karma, farewell Seas.

New Excalibus - We had some of the most intense arguments, and could never agree on most things. But sadly that has contributed to Loraniaís demise, and I deeply regret it. Iíll probably never look at Chipmunks or Illinois the same, I thank you for that. Good look, Excal, and best wishes for the future.

Zweites preussen - like Skundi, I never got to learn much about you. But still, I wish you the best of luck for the future. Farewell ZweiPru.

Waldoven and New stolkland

Thanks, Harka :P

I'll be here for the foreseeable future but apparently none of the WA nations in Lorania are... note to self, don't resign WA on Tinhampton

Yeah, Sail resigned from the WA. So, there's likely not gonna be a delegate for this region until this region inevitably gets tossed back into the availability pool. And even then, if it gets refounded, the refounded region would have a good chance of still being password-locked.

OwOlanda wrote:And even then, if it gets refounded, the refounded region would have a good chance of still being password-locked.

By a Verchy Keeper? :P

Cousethii wrote:By a Verchy Keeper? :P

Well, if I managed to grab Lorania, i'd still password-protect it.
After all, the regions that do get occupied by me start the occupation with a password lock.

This is from the Voice of the Keepermaster.
From this point forward, all posts sent by this nation to this region's Regional Message Board are now from the Voice of the Keepermaster area centered in Sophia.

N-Day is coming. Let's nuke TWC.
