Mascsexual, from sirisles.tumblr.com: attracted to most genders but only sexual with masc-presenting/identifying
Skoliosexual, from queerdictionary.tumblr.com. I see tumblr becoming a theme here: Skoliosexual describes a potential sexual attraction to non-binary identified individuals.
Femsexual, from... urbandictionary.com. Oh goody: Femsexual is a sub-category of pansexuality. It is similar to pansexuality in all aspects, only you are attracted to those of the feminine and occasionally androgynous gender in contrast to being attracted to all genders.

Ok. It's official. I am done with labels. Done...

I actually can't find femsexual binarist on the internet. It like doesn't exist.

Pre-affection: 97% mascsexual 3% femsexual (binarist), 70% mascsexual, 25% skoliosexual, 5% femsexual (corrected)

Post-affection: indifferent pan yay

why

i get that people don't characterize themselves as exactly gay or bi or straight, and maybe some know that they're 67.754% into guys and 32.246% into girls but i doubt anyone has the same sexual orientation as you which defies the purpose of there being a word for it
especially when no one has any idea what you're saying ._.

Oh yes. Oh yes it is.

It's nothing to do with political correctness, really. Other people were breaking down how they defined, so EO did the same. The conventional labels have problems dealing with attraction to non-binary people and who you feel physically attracted to can be a different group to those you tend to form emotional romantic attachments to. If other people can break down their attraction into percentages without criticism it's a bit unneccesary to jump down EO's throat when they do the same -_-

Well, imo, no one should do it like that. I have no problem with what he's saying, I have a problem with him saying it in such a way that few people understand it. If there's a word for it then it can be described/explained. If he would explain what he means it would be great.

Zottsexual: Attraction to things with orifices and /or phallus-like extremities.

Zottsexual is best sexual

Pretend I'm male.

Saying I'm 97% mascsexual 3% femsexual is the equivalent of saying I'm 97% gay, 3% hetero.

Except I'm not really male. But people aren't necessarily male or female.

So I used mascsexual, skoliosexual and femsexual instead. Meaning masculine, non-binary and feminine. Because I am indeed significantly more sexually attracted to masculine/butch non-binary people than feminine/femme ones, and slightly more attracted to feminine/femme non-binary people than to women, but cutting it at men/women would deny the relevance people like me. Denying the relevance of people like me is binarism.

I'm really pan.

I just explained it further because I relate to him. The whole point of sexual orientation is indicating your capacity of relationship with people according to their gender, and it will be complicated if we detail how much gender itself is complicated.

Zottistan wrote:Zottsexual: Attraction to things with orifices and /or phallus-like extremities.

I'm kinda zottsexual.

I don't really care about anatomy - whether ovarian/testicular-wise or a mix or neither -, but somehow masculinity (coming or integral to anyone, independently of gender) is MUCH more of a turn-on to me. It adds spice in itself, like it made gay stuff alone equivalent to... hmmm... how to not put this offensively... one shade of my private "interests".

I could have just said that, but I'm not fully mascsexual, though. Women are still very interesting, and I'd feel bad saying what is integral to their womanness is a turn-off (as well as woman-like characteristics among non-woman). The whole point was not being too male-centric while describing my sexual orientation.

i hear labels labels labels just be attracted to who you're attracted to it doesn't need a name imo

but thanks for the explanation

i guess i'm boring 100% male-sexual, cisgender, just plain old gay :p
i'll have what i think is sexual attraction to a female person and then i realize that i really liked their hair or whatever
it's confusing and i start blushing and get really nervous like a straight guy would when confronted with an attractive female and then they think i'm straight

Labels are fun when you want to explain who you are because you deem it to be important, record it, and find people who are a bit like you.

Labels are also important in observing power/societal legitimacy relationships (e.g. heterosexual, cisgender, binary, dyadic, allosexual, alloromantic), figuring out ourselves, and learning to be proud of what we are.

I know idemromantic is a ridiculous-sounding name and concept to people who aren't on the hard parts of the aromantic spectrum, for example, but it was majorly important to me.

dyadic
allosexual
alloromantic
idemromantic

i don't want to sound like a grandparent but its like a whole nother language

Blekksprutia wrote:dyadic

Dyadic = not intersex
Allosexual = not in the asexual spectrum
Alloromantic = not in the aromantic spectrum

Idemromantic = I already explained you my romantic orientation, didn't I? I have the same wiring for friends and crushes, I call something romantic/crush when I get hot somehow, that sensation of falling in love can also happen toward best friends. "When you distinguish platonic and romantic because you ruled out your experience of romantic attraction is experiencing A, B and C you don't have toward your friends, but otherwise they are idem in perception."

It was important, because while I discovered myself bi, I looked back at childhood I felt like I had fallen in love toward ALL my childhood best friends of ALL years and it felt creepy. :P
