Why anyone would look at a language with words like that and say “yes I need to learn this” is beyond me.

I'm imagining you getting lost in translation and telling some nice Japanese girl "please breathe harder into the breathalyzer" during oral.

When you realize what Mallaska was saying to you at that Japanese karaoke bar but you're already back home in Vegas.

It is true tho

The fact that it feels normal for Kimye to use political leverage to get President Donald Trump to bail A$AP Rocky out of his Swedish prison just shows how weird our society has gotten.

My current theory is that Mallaska is just in a backwater country bar, stuck in a perpetual state of extreme inebriation and tripping watching people sing to songs in what he assumes is Karaoke, making it Japan

My college orientation went really nice. Enjoyed it quite a bit

An ideal army would have no more or less than 5 types of ground logistics vehicles on hand, in varying proportions.

The lightest, the Ultra Lights, would be essentially world war era jeeps. Capable of carrying maybe a few troops, a heavy machine gun, possibly a very light gun or mortar, they would primarily be suited for airborne operations. Armor could be supplanted by the need for strategic mobility. I've seen Quads used in this role, with small welded-together trailers. It's actually an amazing combination; in garrison, hauling kit around is much less tedious. In the field, even less so.
The Light logistics vehicle is the core of any vehicle fleet, although it blurs the line between logistics and combat. Large enough to transport a section of infantry, mount a medium or heavy machine gun, or any number of other tasks, this class was and is filled by the HMMWV - that alone should explain why it holds such a large place in military logistics.

The Medium Logistics Vehicle needs to be bigger and heavier. Preferably still with a low bed, these vehicles would fill the role of cargo transport at the Platoon and Company levels - one truck should be able to carry enough water, food, ammo, and other supplies for an entire platoon; a small group could be used for a company or more. These would also be useful as weapons transporters for artillery - capable of towing most common support systems (generators, water buffalos) while still staying small enough and cheap enough - and simple enough - to see widespread use.
This is where the scale of deployment starts to nosedive rapidly. Heavy support vehicles would be primarily used for specialized tasks - for example, fuel tankers and prime movers are two of the most common roles, although most dedicated recovery vehicles would need to be based on this chassis, as the Medium truck would be too light to guarantee a rescue.
Ultra Heavy Logistics Vehicles would see only very minor use. The only real usage for these is armoured vehicle transport and, in that respect, a slightly modified semi tractor could be used, with the capability of moving a "beavertail" armoured vehicle flatbed. A number of special trailers could be made for this, but this vehicle would never see major service outside of hauling broken tanks back to their depots.

I hope you enjoyed "speculation with timber", you've been a good class.
