I enjoyed reading your wiki entry, Christos! I look forward to seeing what else you have to put on there, all in good time, of course.

Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.

I’m terrible at these things, so I only have guesses for two:
- Holy Ternian’s = St Trinian’s
- Greyfurrers = Greyfriars

Both guesses correct.
A bunch of pupils from Holy Ternians's turned up in one Sports RP, to the discomfort of some of the opposing teams' players & fans...

I have ties to Britain so I'll hazard a guess or two.
Yarrow is definitely Harrow.
As you mention Feastingfield to be next to a "Royal City" (Windsor as the home of the Royal Family), I'd say it would be Eton. Tommbrauh could be Rugby but I'm really guessing here, not too sure.

What's an Europe? Can you sell that?

Trive 38 wrote:What's an Europe? Can you sell that?

I think it's something you wear.

Zamastan wrote:I think it's something you wear.

Hm, so one can sell that.

In theory. It could also be eaten.

Europe can really be whatever you want it to be.

For everyone who is a member of the World Assembly saying to themselves suddenly, "Oh, why do I have one less endorsement than I did the other day?" It is likely because I have resigned from the World Assembly, and if I was endorsing you before, I no longer am. Sorry for any inconvenience it causes, though my own personal inconveniences with the World Assembly had the stronger hand in my decision.

Fair enough. Certainly no one is entitled to another's endorsement.

You got all three of them correct.

I literally only know Eton out of all those.

It is exam season, brother. I will leave it at that. Things should pick up over the weekend since most Colleges will have graduated. I couldn’t say that for sure though.

There is still stuff to do for the brave amount you who either have nothing better to do with their Thursday evening or are procrastinating studying for that pesky AP World Exam. The IDUOC has an open forums right now where we are (ideally) working with Shuell to set in stone the Sports list for the IDUOC. If you are on the committee or just want to have your voice heard, I welcome you to weigh in on the “debate.”

Oh, I've passed mine already.
Follow my example guys - study 1 hour prior to the test only. It works.

Awful advice! Do not listen to Trive!

You are either brilliant, in classes that are way to easy, or the Brazilian education system doesn’t put as much emphasis on Exams than USA does. Personally, I haven’t put too many hours into studying either (just a lot of time into math) but I literally know people who will log like 30 hours this week just studying for exams.

You also have the issue of College admissions. If they weren’t so strict I would be fine with just passing. An 80% in math seems fine to me. The issue is that nowadays it would seem you basicly need a 5.0 GPA to get literally anywhere.

It used to be that if you were a bright kid you might think to yourself: “If I work realy hard I have a shot at Stanford or Harvard or MIT (if you are a tech guy)”

Now it’s like: “Maybe if I literally get all “A”s, speak 4 languages proficiently, play 3 instruments (all of different instrument families), play 2 sports on Varsity Level, and am on the debate team I might have a slim shot at a good college.”

I guess the issue is that more people are going to college than ever. It went from: “You are going to college, wow, you must be a smart dude.” to “Going to College? Neat.” to “You are going to college.(emphasis on the period denoting finality).”

I don’t realy know what to make of it. To conclude my rant: If ONLY I was in a position where I could just study for an hour for all of it, Trive. I am infinitely envious.

Never save your studying for the day of an exam. If you don't know it by that morning, you won't learn it in time.

Science tells us that studying before you sleep is good, and doing so repeatedly is better.

Trive, you're lucky you don't have to take a U.S. Bar Exam. We start studying 10 hours a day 8 weeks before the exam.

Well we have the ENEM, and most recently the national public schools' math olympiad (compulsory test for some reason)

I know a lot of lawyers and they all agree that taking the Bar Exam is an extraordinarily difficult task. Good Luck to anyone who might be taking it this season!
