We don't need any arsenic. Nothing to poison. Werewolves eat the rats and other vermin.

How about an AZRF-manufactured, AZ-19 android combat Unit with an advanced quantum computer, and connection to the nation's battle net system, allowing them to pick up info from any other assets hooked up to the battle net?

In my time, we call that a Terminator ripoff

You can ask me about any of the poll factions via TG. I haven’t fully worked out some of them, though.

For my Star Trek ripoff story, I’m stealing your ideas

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Luckily the AZ-19 is much more of an actual combat droid than the terminator is. The Terminator is an inflitration unit designed to blend in and kill from the inside. The AZ-19 was purely made as an infantry soldier. The chassis is larger than a normal human, and its shape wouldn't fit an actual human disguise

Trade has officially open! Be sure to buy your fine antiquities, and lifestyle items on our official embassy port!

Antiques? Lifestyle items? Thanks, but we got a lot of old relics of our own, and a couple of tambourines pretty much defines our lifestyle.

Thats ok... Who needs the material when you can advance beyond our primative human forms...

I feel sad and confused. I'm aware that we've been criticized in the past about our gypsy theme. But I got several rather condescending and nasty TG's from a founder when I asked why they withdrew our embassy. For example:

....upon consulting with them [their delegate] they have expressed their anger and frustration with the statements you have made and your lack of responsibility. Going back to your own statement:"We just like to hang around the campfire, play the tambourine, and watch out for werewolves," this is even more stereotypical about the culture that they represent, but you refuse to face it. If you would like education on the matter we can provided you with some. Also our Delegate has offered to open their telegrams to you if you are interested in learning more.

They are apparently not using male and female pronouns, and I have found through personal experience that those persons are generally less tolerant of the views of others, so of course I take this TG with a grain of salt. But I work hard to keep this region going, with the help of others, and I guess I'm just getting tired and cranky.

To be honest, although I don't have any knowledge whatsoever on the culture of the Romani/Gypsy people, I would say that us hanging around campfires, playing the tambourine, and watching out for werewolves isn't a stereotype of any culture, as it is a general description of what we are doing. Instead, it describes that we love to camp in the woods and play tambourines in the middle of the night.

But then again, the vagueness and the general-ness of that particular statement can be applied to anything, and it may so happen that it is applicable to what seems to be a stereotype for the Romani people.

Context is key, folks.

Thank you for your concern.

The Pangaean Union is turning 1 years old on the June 3rd. We are inviting our embassy friends to come in and enjoy the fun this weekend. There will be games and competitions.

Thank you for the invitation, Magnus Phoenicia. Some goodies have been sent your way.

're poll I use they/them especially here where the sex of the person I am talking about is unknown to me

I don't really care much about gender pronouns, to be honest. I use They/Them for people that I haven't identified their sex or gender yet, BUT, I use "It" for people I hate because they do not deserve the right to gender pronouns, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity

I use "he", "she", or "it". And occasionally "you". I reserve "they" and "them" for plural. And for any singular person whose sex I do not know, I use "he." In the olden days, "he" was a designation for both sexes, to avoid clumsy narrative and writing using "he or she".
I cringed when people started saying "he or she" instead of the more succint "he." As a "she," I did not take offense at the "he" and I appreciated it's brevity.
