Minimum Wages to Increase, amidst Economic Prosperity

Amidst a relatively constant rate of GDP growth, fluctuating in above 6.5%, the State Council has decreed that the hourly minimum wages across the country will receive an artificial boost, in an attempt to enrich the social welfare of the peoples.

As different parts of the nation have very different standards of living, minimum wage legislations are delegated to the local governments, in accordance with local conditions. Each province typically has several wage districts, which each have their own minimum monthly and hourly wage. However, under the new legislation, all provinces will have one, unified minimum wage, abolishing the wage districts entirely.

Below are the new hourly minimum wages (in RMB):

  • Anhui - 18 RMB

  • Beijing - 25 RMB

  • Chongqing - 20 RMB

FINANCE MINISTER PRESENTED A SET OF ECONOMIC BILLS IN SKUPŠTINA

This afternoon, Finance Minister Ognjen Majstorović, as he has promised three months ago when he was appointed, this afternoon presented a set of neoliberal economic bills to Skupština, and opened a wide debate over them. Public is divided not just about the substance of those bills themselves, but also about the appropriacy of the moment chosen for the presentation of them. While Minister has pointed out in his speech that bills are to be put on a debate one after other starting from the next week because we're in the middle of fall season which is considered as a period of year when our economy accelerates faster than during the rest of the year, there are also other more political opinions that suggest that Minister has presented those bills in this particular moment to prevent further decline of SDP popularity and define party economic policy in a spirit of elections campaign.

Bills whose draft versions were presented to Skupština this afternoon are following:

Labor and retirement bill - a bill to liberalize the labor market and make it easier for workers to be employed and fired. In area of retirement, this bill is going to break with tradition of indexation of pensions with inflation rate. It is all described as a best way to create more liquid atmosphere in our economy and enable business to breathe.
Stimulative business bill - a bill to give additional tax relief to the richest 10%, to stimulate them to invest in Serbia rather than abroad. Also, state would take to itself to cover costs of social insurances for workers, so that company owners are additionally stimulated to invest at home.
PKB privatization bill - ad hoc bill to define conditions of sale for privatization procedure in PKB company.
New social approach bill - a bill to present additional cuts in areas of welfare, education and healthcare, as well as to introduce the privatization in area of healthcare. Also, this bill would decrease the housing aid and present job cuts in scientific community. All those measures are described as hard but necessary new approach to grant us stable economic growth.

It is interesting to mention that all three party leaders have officially supported the set of bills, but there is still a plenty of space for doubt as rebels in both SDP and DS has announced that they will fight this bills until they're withdrawn. Considering the fact that Prime Minister and Finance Minister doesn't have stable ground in their own party SDP, and that obstructions would surely come from their coalition partners DS rebels MPs, they will surely have to count on the opposition votes from ND, from where comes strong messages about party unity towards supporting of those bills as "a great way to break with socialist past". There are some responses made by notable MPs on press conferences:

MP Hana Adrović (official line of DS): "We are going to support those bills because those are stimulative bills to make our great economy even greater, to suspend needless regulations in areas where those regulations are not necessary and enable us to live as a normal nation. I know that different comments come from DS, but I'm almost 100% sure that when the days for vote come, DS will show a great party unity over this subject. To be honest, those bills are not much different from what the previous DS-led Cabinet was proposing and our party was supporting back then.

MP Balša Božović (rebel line of DS): "Those bills are the worst of what we've expected to see. Affiliations of people coming from SDP to break with their own ideology has reached a dangerous point where we all have a duty to confront their path, as it is a path that goes straightly forward into the abyss of neoliberal capitalism, with suspending of all workers rights and businessmen social responsibility. We shall respond, and you'll be informed about our course of action, but what I can tell you right now is that the possible scenario are massive strikes during Skupština session time.

MP Lazar Hadži-Zdravković (official line of SDP): "I heard numerous critics that this set of bills comes at the moment of elections campaign. Well, I must say that I honestly don't see where the problem is. Different parties posses different capacity to handle the campaign, and we found this one as the most appropriate way to respond to the campaign of the other side. Although we expect them to support our bills as just and responsible bills, it would also mean a great victory for our side to make our political opponents recognize our economic policy as a right policy in time of elections campaign."

MP Borko Stefanović (rebel line of SDP): "Yes, speculations are true, we've consulted our partners from DS who also oppose those bills, like Mr. Božović, and we've agreed upon a joint approach. I can't tell you more right now, because we're under process of preparing it, but we shall not stand without and response to this shameful path the Cabinet has chosen - shameful for both SDP and Government as the institution."

MP David Bojčić (leader of ND): "Well, it is true that we have some intentions to support those bills. They come from our opponents, but those are not bad bills. And, in time of crisis when even MPs coming from SPD and DS themselves can't have a stable consensus over those bills, I believe it is our patriotic duty to step in and provide them with necessary votes in order to get them passed. The other subject is if they are going to point it as our weakness for supporting their bills, in that case we may even reconsider our decision, but I don't think that they're that much foolish to make us do that.

Protests re-sparked over recent events in Gdańsk, Rzeczpospolita poland | KMC News

After Emmerich Forster successfully rose to power of the city of Gdańsk, Poland, many members of the Krazhnoyevski Jewish community returned to the streets, just weeks after political unrest sparked by the controversial decision to close down the so-called “Kazakh Free Media” broadcasting station.

Forster’s “Danzig Liberation Union” is an openly neo-fascist organisation, with Forster himself having historic familial ties to Nazi oppression in Poland. His great grandfather, Albert Forster, was appointed as head of state of Danzig by none other than Hitler himself, before the city’s absorption into the infamous Third Reich. In 1952, Albert was hung for crimes against humanity.

In the run-up to the recent federal elections in Poland, Forster’s election campaign consisted of mass propaganda drives, as well as even reverting to violence in a very similar way to Hitler’s NSDAP before his rise to power in 1933. His critics say that he is a “blatant Nazi” and “open anti-Semite”, accusations that Forster’s supporters deny. He is also reported to have encouraged his supporters to ‘put their faith in’ Hitler’s infamous “Mein Kampf”, an autobiography which outlines the policies of the NSDAP before its rise to power in Germany.

Protests in Krazhnoyevsk were re-ignited after, shortly following Forster’s successful election in Gdańsk, a Jewish man was shot whilst worshipping in public in the city. Jews in major cities across Krazhnoyevsk were appalled by the news, and, yesterday, around 2,500 around the country took to the streets to express their concern regarding the rise of anti-Semitism across the globe, with another 200,000 non-Jewish Krazhnoyevskis marching in solidarity with the international Jewish community. One man, who remains anonymous, told a reporter:

“We are protesting, and will continue to protest, against the disgusting racism which is being shown towards not just Jews, but racial and ethnic minorities worldwide. The world needs to know that this kind of behaviour isn’t tolerated in our modern society.”

    PRISON ESCAPE

There has been a security breach in Yodok Prison camp! Convict number 14605 Li Sun-ko escaped early this morning. First reports indicate she went north, as all trails lead that way. Guard dogs are unleashed in that direction with police team searching the nearby forest.

Li Sun-ko was a criminal dog who sabotaged the State few years ago and worked to undermind the social fabric of our great society. She will probably try to escape to China via Yalu river. We implore our Chinese friends to caution on their eastern border.

    Ministry of State Security

The Ministry of State Security, in conjunction with the People's Armed Police, has stated it will be on the lookout for Li Sun-Ko. A force of 3 Changhe Z-8 helicopters has been mustered, and riverborne patrols were performed alongside the Yalu River. 2 Type 062I gunboats were mobilized for this purpose.

The border towns of Yanbian, Dandong, Tonghua and Baishan will temporarily be closed for inland visitors until the prison escape is resolved. Local authorities have apologised for the inconvenience.

Orders have been distributed, confirming the detention and subsequent extradition of Li Sun-Ko should she be caught within national territory.

              Your Right to Know
Australia's Media Giants take action against shrinking media freedoms

Australia’s Right to Know (ARTK) is a coalition of leading Australian media outlets and organisations. We want the Australian public to be aware of the growing threat to their ability – and fundamental right – to know information that impacts their lives.

Australian Associated Press (AAP), Australian Broadcasting Company (ABC), Australian Community Media (ACM), ASTRA Subscription Media Australia, Bauer Media Group, Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA), Commercial Radio Australia, Daily Mail Australia, Free TV Australia, Media Entertainment and Arts Alliance, News Corp Australia, Nine, Prime Media Group (Channel 7), Special Broadcasting Service (SBS), Seven West Media (Channel 7), Sky News, Network Ten, The Guardian, and WIN Corporation are very rarely seen working together, but yesterday, they publically demonstrated their united front for 'Australia's public right to know.'

Although they've been working together to protect media freedoms since 2007, yesterday was the first time in recorded history that a stunt of this size was pulled off; All newspapers created by the aforementioned media companies had their front pages black out ('redacted') the same way that secret government files are released, spelling out short messages including the coalition's motto; When government keeps the truth from you, what are they covering up?

The public demonstration comes after ABC headquaters were raided over the Afghan Files earlier this year. While the Australian Government saw the release as as top secret being exposed, ABC saw it as keeping Australia accountable.

But that's not all that's wrong. There were 4 000 reports of abuse and neglect in nursing homes last year. Journalists like ABC's Dan Oakes and Sam Clark had their offices raided, while journalists like News Corp's Annika Smethurst had their houses raided. The ATO has been taking large money from people's accounts without their knowlege, and whistleblower Richard Boyle now faces 161 years in prision. Thousands of hectares of Australian land is being sold to overseas investors, like the $415 million sale of 269 000 ha of forest to a Canadian firm. Former treasurer Joe Hockey awarded $1bn taxpayer money to his own company in 2017. When Sydney Morning Herald requested how much Destination NSW was spending on tourism in Sydney, the request was swiftly and suspiciously denied. A similar event in 2018 when indepedent journalist William Summers approached Parliament House to see their menu. His seemingly innocent request was stonewalled by the Department of Parliamentary Services. Children as young as 10 are being held in adult maximum-security police watch houses in Queensland. Australian political parties have not been releasing donations, and, in the case of the China-DSP incident eariler this year, it was the media who were offically condemned for the release of this infomation. And that's not all. How come parliament wants to stop this infomation coming out?

Australia claims to be a free and transparent democracy. In fact, 87% of Australians value a free and transparent democracy where the public is kept informed. Only 37% believe this is happening. 88% of Australians believe whistleblowers play a vital role in our community, but the government wants to imprision them?

The New York Times stated that Australia may be 'the most secretive democracy,' with at least 75 pieces of legislation being introduced since 2001 to stop the government being held accountable.

Is Australia really what it seems? What else is the government hiding? Don't Australians have the right to know what's happening in their own country? When government keeps the truth from you,
    what are they covering up?

    Bus Drives

It was the first day of the China Tour in Shanghai. The cast and crew gathered outside of their hotel. They waited for their equpiment to all be sorted before they boarded the bus. They waited on the bus ready to roll to the Shanghai Grand Theatre where they would perform once again. Their performances had set the world on fire and they loved every minute of fame they received from the show. They had received media attention all the way from parts of China. Luke sat back in his seat and started to read the paper. He frowned upon the news of a Civil War, but then he smiled at the fact of Climate Summits in a place non-existent. "Maybe this is a world that we don't know of?" he suggested to himself. He shook off that thought and excused it as fantasies. The boy’s older brother came over his head and knocked his cap off of it. He slumped over the seat in front of him just so his chin would be on his brother’s head. In a swift move, he picked his head up, but noogied his brother. Luke just looked back up. His brother, Javier, looked at him and smiled. “Gotcha!” he laughed. Louis rolled his eyes as he turned his attention back to the screen in front of him. "What the hell is a Neo Afro Caribbean Order?" he asked to his brother. Luke shrugged his shoulders. "Maybe a nation that doesn't exist?" he suggested. They both shrugged and next thing Luke knew, Javi snagged the newspaper from his hands.

"Let's see... The climate in Valsora is rapidly under attack. Disasters like those months ago in the Neo Afro Caribbean Order. Fires, hurricanes, and tornadoes continue to get worse because of climate change. However, to fix this, the Angel of Charity decided to call on a summit to discuss the matters of climate change. Delegations from Zukchiva, Lerasi, Great Algerstonia, Rage Mage, The Waaa, Restoration of Eastern Kaiserreich, Nova-Australis, The Cult of the Great Cthulhu, the Neo Afro Caribbean Order, Gorbastan, The Sennheiser Union, Volinovia, Kampf Empire, Peatiktist, Terrabis-Seran, and Abadong were invited to discuss.

The delegations arrived in Abadong, the decided host, on 18 October 2019 and the conference began on the nineteenth. The first discussion was begun by one of the delegation members of the Angel of Charity. 'Hello everyone, thank you for participating in Valsora's first climate summit! I hope everyone has had a wonderful time. However, I'd like to direct your attention to the conference hall, which is two floors above us, and on your right. It is there that we shall begin our discussion.' Hey! It even has an article about something going on in our world!"

He threw the newspaper back at his brother. "You have some weird things that you read about, little brother," he said as they both laughed it off as the bus made its way on the superhighway of Shanghai.

OOC - Yes, I used this post to shamelessly advertise this newspaper down here. I was given approval, so... Yeah. Better post will come tomorrow or so.

This year’s event will be held in Dar Es Salaam in the Federal Republic of Tanzanique and New Zagreb in the Democratic Republic of Delgasolavia. This year has Africa put on the map in terms of World News right after an outbreak of Pelmos spread across the continent of Africa.

Youssath Falls in Second Civil War; World War Emerges

(RMB Today - Crata, Youssath) - The Second Youssath Civil War started because of the civil unrest that had been sparking among the national populace upon joining the Confederation of Corrupt Dictators and Prime Minister Alfonzo Finley's ministerial speech. Since joining the Confederation, the Youssathian economy has fallen in the Economic Index from 43.00 to 22.00 because of the Prime Minister’s order at the time to redirect resources into the military.

Immediately, the Dictatorship of Eastern Day and the Tosdodan Kingdom of South Reinkalistan provided aid to Youssath to contain the civil unrest in the nation, but even then, it wasn’t enough. Among the Confederation’s intervention in Youssath, violence in the street continued throughout. Protesters called for Article III of Youssath’s Constitution to be invoked, citing that "a national referendum must be held for the people of Youssath and that the military and law enforcement agencies must relinquish control and lay down their arms over the popular will of the people.”

Days later, people in Youssath started to burn flags. Most notably the flags of Winter Gulley, Eastern Day, Trade Capital, 2nd Imperial German Reich, and Jocospor. The protesters also made numerous demands that were denied by the Youssath Government which indirectly started the Second Youssath Civil War. The flag-burning escalated when the Democratic insurgents and the People's Army of Youssath (PAY) stormed the embassies of and buildings of Russia Major, Winter Gulley, 2nd Imperial German Reich and any Confederation-affiliated embassies within Youssath and hung signs that said “Death To The Confederation”.

However, Confederate forces from The Czardom of Russia Major, Kyavan, Caesareani, The Ether Corporation, New England INC and New Chengonia provided military aid and support to the Youssath Armed Forces (YAF) to fight against the rebels that were against the Confederation. Alfonzoge, a prominent city in Youssath bearing the late Prime Minister's name, has been taken over by elite forces from the Militant Empire of Kyavan in the name of "national security” marking the speculations that many nations had been fighting inside of Youssath just for land and not for liberation and protection.

Then, there were several radio transmits stating that Youssath should prepare for nuclear strikes and a fallout. “The air is dead silent, as Stuka-like sirens wailed across the skies of Youssath.
The people looked on in disbelief and shock. Enemies have not only taken the cities, but friendly nations known to us have also taken strategic cities such as Alfonzoge. There only remains certainty now, that this country will truly be destroyed.
Government officials scramble to leave the country. Chief Justice Kelvin Reese has been last spotted on a Youssathian warship disembarking from the port. The whereabouts of the President of Youssath remains unknown.
Confederation forces are still fighting with pro-democratic insurgents in the hills and in the streets, but soon Nilreden will fall to neither side.
For as in 24 hours starting from now, nuclear strikes directed at Youssath population centres have been ordered by Eastern Day.
This message is brought to you by the Youssath Government. Always remember to Hail the Confederation!”

Shortly after the nuclear strikes placed upon several Youssath targets, five different states with five different governments emerged from Youssath. The Republic of Youssath was the nation that started before the civil war and its government had not changed. Then came the Federal Republic of Youssath which was set up by the rebels. Leaders of the state were William Nichols, Martin Morozov (second-in-command) and Eoin Novikov (head of the PAY). Then, came the Free Land of Youssath which was headed by the fled statesmen, and was set up by a government-in-exile. The Grand Duchy of Youssath was established by Kyavan, a monarchist republic aimed to restore the very first Grand Duke of Youssath. It was headed by Monique Arellano, current mayor for the city of Neu Jadotgrad. Then, came the Autocracy of Youssath which was established by 2nd Imperial German Reich, with the aims of creating an independent state with the concepts of autarky.

Among this civil war, a more devastating war had begun. The Confederate Wars had begun upon a hundred nuclear warheads flew from the Eastern Day across the Pacific Ocean at a high altitude. The cities of Faltirk and Neu Jadotgrad were utterly wiped off the face of the continent as uranium bombs exploded on civilian population centres. Various leaders were killed in Neu Jadotgrad, most notably Monique Arellano, Oswaldo Ingram, Brant Bills (the President at the time), and Kasey Grimes.

However, it took the Imperial Empire of Jocospor to stop this civil war. However, the Confederate Wars continued. With North Reinkalistan troops crossing the demarcated borders towards South Reinkalistan, capturing the city of Watester, the intense standoff between 2nd Imperial German Reich and Kafair forces within the outskirts of Agosgow, Youssath and the Ukraniumstan-registered oil tanker crisis situation developing, the war escalated into a massive World War. Then, came the bombings of Agoscow, Youssath causing Youssathian National Security measures to increase exponentially.

Following the bombings, the Republic of Youssath officially declared war upon Kafair following the final warning to the Kafairian Ambassador. To this day, the Confederate Wars continue and Youssath continues to suffer the worst blows of the ongoing world war.

Border Clashes Between Ethiopia and North Trideshia Continue
Some phrases may be same as written in North Trideshia's Dispatch

(RMB Today - Tadjoura, North Trideshia) - Overall standoffs between neighboring states proceed. Numerous states are pulling up arms against one another. The outskirts between neighboring states have turned into probably the most perilous spots that one can step on. Notwithstanding, there is one clash that outmatches the rest. North Trideshia and Ethiopia have had probably the most unpleasant clashes along the fringe.

This contention began when a plane passing on dangerous things crashes in the Salaliyah Desert and caused the passings of individuals in the encompassing towns. Afterward, North Trideshia assigned a no-fly-zone over a locale along its outskirt with Ethiopia. Before long, an Ethiopian flying machine, an Ethiopian Su-25, was shot down straightforwardly causing the outskirt circumstance. As per the North Trideshian Ministry of Defense, the North Trideshians were simply implementing the no-fly-zone and the Ethiopians pronounced that it was standard and denounced the demonstration.

Only four days after the fact, the Ethiopians lit to fire upon the places of the North Trideshians. "It's not the first time", says first Lieutenant Nasrin al-Halabi, "It's not very accurate, and they're just trying to get us to escalate.” Following this overwhelming battling, the relations among Ethiopia and North Trideshia have devalued.

Starting at now, more than forty individuals have kicked the bucket attempting to get close to the limit between the two African states. Twenty of those passings were non-soldiers burst in the into flames. The Ethiopians ventured to guarantee that a North Trideshian rocket hit a transport loaded up with regular citizens murdering them all, yet those charges ended up being false. On the fifth of October, the outskirt clash swelled into a maritime issue. The Royal Navy of North Trideshia began to battle Ethiopian ships in the Indian Ocean

    Car Bombing in Baghdad:

The calm of a normal day was shattered as an Islamic extremist drove a car into a police station in Baghdad. The attack occurred at 8:02am this morning when investigators say a lone driver with a vehicle based explosive device drove into the front of the police station. Upon impact, the drive detonated the bomb inside the vehicle, the size of the explosion was an estimated 100 pounds of TNT. 9 people were killed and 3 more were injured in the blast. People say that this was an act of terrorism and the last throws of a desperate enemy, others say it was meant to show the anger of the other side. Although the motive is unknown at this time, one thing is clear, this attack has gotten the attention of the nation.

    Seismologists Worry of Impending Earthquake:

During a routine checkup of the seismographs in Sulaymaniyah, Seismologist Mohammed Asfour discovered a region in the Zagros Mountains of where tremors were steadily increasing in frequency and strength. The government was notified about the discovery and Salih ordered recovery teams in the area to remain on standby. The discovery has also startled locals in Sulaymaniyah as the earthquake from 2017 still remains prominent in their memories. Others have even gone as far as to leave the city or even move away from the region.

BREAKING: Armed man opens fire in city centre, still at large | KMC News

Seven are confirmed dead after an armed man - described by the police as tall, well-built and around 50 years of age - opened fire on a crowd of pro-Jewish protestors in central Almaty. After firing into the crowd, he was seen on CCTV running off and attempting to disguise himself amongst another group of protestors around three streets away. Police have blocked all entrances into the centre of the city, including assembling roadblocks and checkpoints along all roads leading towards the city centre. The search for the gunman is ongoing, and a number of Armed Response Units have been dispatched specifically for this purpose; citizens have been strictly warned against venturing into the city until the search is over.

The man was seen wearing the logo of the Kazakh Patriots’ Party: a right-wing nationalist party claiming to represent the interests of the majority Kazakh ethnic group. The incident is forecasted to have significant repercussions for the party, culminating with the potential termination of negotiations between them and the centre-right Coalition for Prosperity. Before the attack, it was expected that the KPP would join the Coalition, consisting of three other parties (including current President Erasyl Zhaparov’s New Democratic Party), giving them a 50.4% majority. However, there is now a significant chance that the KPP will be blocked from negotiations, dragging the process further, and potentially handing the next government to the leftists.

It is expected that the attack will also have other serious political repercussions for the nation, with the general trend in politics during recent years being a movement of political affiliation further away from the centre, and closer and closer to the extreme left and right of the political spectrum. Many would argue that this sudden spike in far-right nationalism in Krazhnoyevsk is a direct cause of the recent rise in ethnic-based violence in the nation. It is expected that this speculation will be investigated further once the perpetrator has come to justice, and life has returned to normal.

The government hereby repeats its plea for all citizens to avoid venturing into the city centre, and for those already there to leave the vicinity and seek shelter as soon as possible. President Zhaparov has already expressed his “deepest condolences” for those who may be affected by the aftermath of the attack.

The Pledge for Australia: First Draft
In an attempt to sprout Australian Patriotism, Federal MPs have gotten together to draft a new Pledge.

In an effort to boost Australian cultural appreciation and patriotism in the midst of an ongoing 'culture war,' Federal politicans have gotten together to discuss a draft for a new "Pledge for Australia,' set to be recited in classrooms, conferences, and the like. A previous bill for a pledge was passed 78 - 73 in the House of Representatives with the help of the KAP, and 39 - 37 after Independent Cory Bernardi voted with the coalition, One Nation, and Lambie Network.

The draft, written after approval from parliament on Monday, took influence from Australian, American, and British pledges of citizenship and to the flag. This first draft will face the Australian Parliament on Saturday.

"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the Federation of Australia,
I pledge allegiance to the Democratic Republic it represents,
I pledge by almighty God my loyalty to Australia and its people,
whose democratic western beliefs I believe and I share,
whose rights and liberties I respect and laws I will uphold and obey.
I will not place Australia below any nation, and I will not pledge alligance
to any other nation other than the Federation of Australia.
I do swear that I will well and truly serve Australia,
that I will follow democratic and free beliefs
and that I will not betray my nation,
but love it truely, I stand for one nation, I stand for Australia.
      So help me God."

Critisms regarding the reference to the LORD, as well as the last line, which stems from the British allegiance, are expected to be brought up. Some also believe that the pledge is too long, and that it repeats itself too much. Independent Conservative Senator from South Australia Cory Bernardi said he's thankful that there will 'finally be something to stand by,' and something that will 'truely unite all Australians.'

He has warned that the 'cultural-left' may try to stop it from coming into gear, but he is 'willing to fight' for 'the love of Australia' before it dies in the so-called 'cultural revolution.'

UNEXPECTEDLY LARGE PROTESTS IN FRONT OF SKUPŠTINA BEFORE DEBATE OF ECONOMIC BILLS

Mass of around 7000 people gathered in front of Skupština, on a protest organized by rebellious MPs from DS and SDP, to strike against bills proposed by Finance Minister Ognjen Majstorović, which were to be debated and passed today in Skupština. Two of four bills were planned to pass Skuština procedure this afternoon, and first one is Labor and retirement bill, which should liberalize the labor market and make it easier for workers to be employed and fired. In area of retirement, this bill iss going to break with tradition of indexation of pensions with inflation rate. Second bill is Stimulative business bill, which should give additional tax relief to the richest 10%, to stimulate them to invest in Serbia rather than abroad. Also, state would take to itself to cover costs of social insurances for workers, so that company owners are additionally stimulated to invest at home.

Mass of protesters who welcomed MPs and Ministers entering the Skupština, were composed of retired citizens and private sector workers, affected by those bills. An hour before the session has started, crowd was addressed by DS MP and protest leader Balša Božović, who congratulated crowd on bravery to come and send strong message to Minister Majstorović that he shouldn't prefer tycoons interests rather than peoples. Božović spoke from an improvised stage and after finishing his speech he walked among people and discussed their problems, all filmed by journalists. People expressed their fears that Government is leaving them socially unprotected on the evil will of the richest 10%.

Finance Minister Ognjen Majstorović, whose proposals were to be voted, was forced to enter the Skupština building from backside, because main entrance was blocked by protesters when the information came that he should enter the Skupština soon. They informed journalists that they do not prevent his right to enter the building, but only want to face him and tell him their problems because up until now he was deaf on their issues. After one hour of protesting in front of Skupština, Božović once again addressed the crowd, telling them that he now goes inside to defend their interests, as session was about to begin. Slowly, the crowd number ceased and rebel MPs entered the chamber. Session was about to begin.

FIRST TWO ECONOMIC BILLS DEBATED AND REJECTED

After Speaker opened the session and Minister took few minutes to repeat the intentions of proposed bills, the time had come for the Leader of the Opposition David Bojčić to give a speech regarding the position of his party. Due to large internal conflicts in both governing parties SDP and DS, all those who had hopes about passing the bills were counting on the opposition votes, so Bojčić's position was far more important for this issue than what it usually is. The reason why it was a public opinion that opposition ND was going to support the bills was that it is in accordance with their economic policy and a great opportunity to create even deeper crisis if the bill passes.

In his speech, ND leader David Bojčić said:

"Thank you, Mr. Speaker, for offering me a chance to address this important issue those bills are. And I also want to thank right honorable Minister for sending us all a draft version of the bills and making us able to have enough information about them. Mr. Speaker, as it was heard multiple times in public last days, ND is expected to support those bills. Those are moderate bills in line with our perception of the economy, and so it was logical for us to support them. But, let us not forget the circumstances. We're in the middle of elections campaign and each move should be measured carefully. So, let us go step by step.

There is clearly no majority on the governing side about this bills. Two thirds of DS and more than a half of SDP MPs have already expressed their clear position that they were not going to support the bills. Instead of withdrawing them, Minister has decided to count on my party votes. Although I am honored with his perception of our party importance, which is a rare manner of the gentlemen sitting on their side, I must say that no one has actually came to us and asked us to do so. Why? Because, Mr. Speaker, for far too long has New Democracy party been a matter of media campaign about us, showing us as uncivilized rabble of nationalists, and so if anyone from SDP could had come to discuss the bills with us, he would end up being marked for cooperating with us. But it is our duty to cooperate. And what is about to come is just a result of the SDP refusal to accept the plain fact that ND is the largest MP group in Skupština, and that they should consult us first if they expect our support for such important bills ad hoc.

I have no intention to save a deadman abandoned even by his own party and coalition, nor to involve my party into the internal conflicts of this broken coalition. Therefore, Mr. Speaker, with full awareness of the consequences of my actions, I announce that ND MPs are not going to support the bills. We are going to vote against and that way to punish SDP leadership for ignoring the fact that we are an equal side in this Skupština for a long time already.

After the speech finished, as no one has expected this outcome, the entire chamber was in total silence. Later debate was marked by this decision and everyone in the chamber knew that bills are doomed to fail the passing procedure, as there were lowest possible chances for them to pass without the opposition support. Under the pressure of the protests that have happened in front of Skupština, internal debates between the governing coalition MPs, those who support and who oppose the bills, were loud and on a brink of insulting, while ND MPs were silent until the time for voting came.

At the final vote, there were the results over the package of two bills:

    For: 63
    Against: 174
    Abstain: 2
    Non-present: 11

Both Prime Minister and Finance Minister refused to give any comments over the defeat in the Skupština today, as the next vote about the remaining two bills is already to come soon.

    New Firearms Legislation Passes Bundestag

    Months following the Constitutional Court ruling that firearms are protected under the Constitution, the National Liberal Movement lead by Chancellor Ayşe Ölmez introduced legislation to govern and regulate firearms to ensure that the citizens of the Rhineland can peacefully enjoy their property and rights, while protecting the public well being and safety. The "National Firearms Act" or Firearms Act of 2019 in its current draft includes the following regulations;

    REQUIREMENT TO ACQUIRE A LICENCE:
All citizens of the Rhineland that aim to own a firearm(s) are required under this act to be licensed by the Bundespolizei (National Police).

    - In order to qualify for a Firearms Licence citizens will be required to submit to a Criminal Background Check, Register in National Firearms Database, and get Health Clearance from a General Practitioner

    TYPES OF LICENCES

    • A – Firearm Collector

    • B – Sport Shooter

    • C – Hunting

    • D – Exercise of a Profession

    • E – Self-Defense

    OBTAINING A LICENCE:

An applicant applies for a gun license at a designated local office of the National police. If the conditions of age, qualification, health clearance, criminal integrity and personal reliability are met and a fee of €27 EUR ($30 USD) per category is paid, the license shall be issued in thirty days.

    Age:
To obtain a B or C category license, the applicant must be at least 18 years old. Under special circumstances, the applicant need only be 15 if a member of a sporting club, or 16 if taught hunting in schools with such a curriculum. To obtain an A, D or E category license, the applicant must be 18.

    Qualification:
Obtaining the license requires passing a theoretical and practical exam.

Theoretical exam: The theoretical exam consists of a written test of 30 multiple choice questions, created and distributed by the Ministry of the Interior. a Minimum of 79 points is required to pass.

    Practical exam:
    Safe handling this comprises:
inspecting, whether the firearm is loaded (safely unloading),
field stripping as needed for clean-up,
preparation of firearm and ammunition for shooting, shooting, procedure of handling the firearm in case of malfunction, conclusion of shooting

    Health Clarence:
Applicant (license holder) must be cleared by his general practitioner as being fit to possess, carry and use a firearm. The health check includes probes into the applicant's anamnesis (i.e. medical history) and a complete physical screening (including eyesight, hearing, balance). The doctor may request examination by a specialist in case he deems it necessary to exclude illnesses or handicaps stated in the respective governmental regulation. Specialist medical examination is obligatory in case of illnesses and handicaps that restrict the ability to drive a car.

    Criminal Integrity:
The enactment specifies the amount of time which must elapse after a person is released from prison for serving time for particular groups of crimes. Ex-convicts punished for committing selected crimes, such as public endangerment, or participation in organized crime group or murder, if sentenced to more than 12 years imprisonment, may never fulfill this condition

    • After being conditionally discharged, the criminal integrity is regained after the probation period ends or in 3 years in special cases

    • After serving less than 2 years or being sentenced to different kind of punishment than imprisonment, the criminal integrity is regained after 5 years

    • After being sentenced for 2 to 5 years, the criminal integrity is regained after 10 years

    • After being sentenced for 5 to 12 years, the criminal integrity is regained after 20 years

    • After being sentenced for more than 12 years (for defined crimes, such as murder, treason etc.) the criminal integrity is never regained.

Conditional discharge does not count, only the original sentence.

Police may order temporary seizure of firearm license and firearms in case that the holder is charged with any intentional crime, or a negligent crime connected with breach of duties relating to possession, carrying or use of firearms or ammunition.

    Personal Responsibility:

A person who verifiably excessively drinks alcohol or uses illegal drugs, as well who was repeatedly found guilty of specified misdemeanors (e.g. related to firearms, DUI, public order, etc.) in the preceding three years, is considered unreliable for the purposes of issuing a gun license. The police has the right to inquire information regarding these issues also from municipal authorities (misdemeanors are dealt with by municipal authorities and there is no central registry related to them).

    Losing reliability is caused by:

Committing a crime and being conditionally discharged, until the probation period ends.
Excessive use of alcohol or addictive substances
Committing multiple misdemeanors from specific segments of the law (Regarding Firearms, Explosives, Driving under influence, Czech Republic defense, public order, property and illegal hunting/fishing). Only one transgression in last 3 years is tolerated. Other types of misdemeanors do not count to personal reliability criteria.
Police may order temporary seizure of firearm license and firearms in case that administrative proceedings against the holder are initiated for committing selected misdemeanors (e.g. carrying while intoxicated, refusing to undergo intoxication test while armed, shooting outside licensed range unless in self-defense)

With the passage of the "National Firearms Act" in the Bundestag it will now pass to the Budestrat, where it will undergo final review by the representatives of the States of the Confederation. The National Liberal caucus worked closely with some Members of the Budestrat on this legislation, so it is expected to pass through the upper chamber in matter of weeks.

    Election Dates to be Standardized

Elections in China are based on a hierarchical electoral system, whereby local People's Congresses are directly elected by a voter base, and all higher levels of People's Congresses are indirectly elected by the People's Congress of the level immediately below. As such, most governors, mayors, and heads of counties, districts, townships and towns are elected directly by their respective local People's Congresses.

Due to the sheer size of the population, direct elections in urban areas are often voted upon by eligible voters, which are chosen from households. In most lower level administrative divisions, there can be 200–300 voters, but occurrences with 3000-4000 voters are not unheard of.

However, in most rural communities, every eligible adult citizen has the right to vote and run in elections, with first-past-the-post system used to determine the winner. All elections in rural areas have no restriction on political affiliation. Villagers themselves could also directly nominate candidates.

All voters are also entitled to have recall elections, and voting is performed via secret ballot.

The country's decentralized local governing style means that most local governments operate independently from the Central government, barring instances where intervention is needed. As per a legislative bill that was recently passed by the NPCSC, all village and local government direct elections would be held on the same date, as to enable proper coordination and electoral oversight to prevent voter fraud and vote-buying.

The date has not been decided upon yet.

    Sunni Untied front expansion!
    Dhaka Info
People run in terror in Rangpur as the sounds of gunshots echo the entire area, the Sunni United front, responsible for the heinous terrorist attack, now has begun to take a physical form. Troops have been encircled, platoons shattered, and hopes melted as the terrorist organisation takes a hold of the area. Bangladesh has declared a crisis and has immediately demonstrated troops to combat the ever growing caliphate. Living standards have been reported to be an ever time low in SUI taken areas, as roads have been blocked and air spaces strictly prohibited. According to one escapee who prefers to be anonymous, has this to say,
"I escaped with simply a thread of luck, members patrol the border intensely, and with me being a shi'ite, it became ever so harder. I had seen my fellow religious people been executed or forced to be Sunni. Many tried to bribe the army into letting them go, but they usually were either tricked or hadn't had enough. I knew to live I had to leave. On Friday, where they demanded everyone to come to prayer, when a troop came banging at my door, I explained I wished to bring my sunni quran and would find it in about five minutes. He was angry at this, but he didn't want to waste time. I snuck out, slowed down only by the thought I knew that many of my friends, family on prayer day would be tied up into a row and shot. Eventually, I saw a military truck pull up, I wish I could tell what symbol of was it, as it did seem familiar. But I simply wasted no time, I hid behind a tree and after the perfect moment attached myself to the back of the truck, I hid under the crates of ammunition and prayed to not be seen. Eventually, after what felt like hours, I could hear more then my breath, as the engine roared. When I was out of sight of the settlement, I leapt off and sprinted into the forest."

Those near the extremist organisation are ordered to stay in doors, have firearms, and be prepared to evacuate the area if demanded to do so. A concentration of division 17 has been placed around affected areas, and a counter offensive is soon to occur. Parents have been warned to be on high alert, as many of the youth have been brainwashed into joining the cause, Amir Hakeen has repeatedly stated,
"Bangladesh will remain secular in terms of state, it will not be blinded due to religion, which may be warped for a certain agenda. We will be driven in liberty, not biases."

    Anti vaxx controversy
    Dhaka Info
Flames have been spilt into media, debates, comments and more as an anti vaxx movements was denied by the Dhaka police, claiming it to be spreading,
    "Life threatening messages"
Anti vaxx members have stormed into the public spotlight, as social media outlets such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc have piled on rants from members and many countering this such as mocking or arguing back at them. Amir Hakeen has been forced onto the podium to address both eyes of anger and admiration,
"We support the ideas of freedom, yet not when they clearly endanger the lives of children under the influence of their parents, the old, those under going chemo therapy, and those with legitimate reasons to not be able to have the vaccine. It is your responsibility to shut down useless fear mongering for if not yourself, but for others!"
The anti Vaxx communities is believed to be conspiring a secretive meeting on future projects and thus rumors have spread that Bangladesh have made an undercover investigation into it, however this has neither been confirmed nor denied. News outlets further spread the controversy as police arrested a mother of two kids with one contracting polio and being paralysed for life. Currently, scientists have went on panels to refute the arguments such as aluminium, rejected abortion fetus, autism etc. However many are unconvinced, believing them to be bribed into saying it. Others also believe it is against their religious beliefs to do so, and become enraged at the possible new legislation to make vaccines mandatory.

Currently, with fears of illnesses such as Rabies, Measles, and influenza, the medical department has authorised especially prone places to be engorged a legal punishment if refusal of vaccination with an invalid reason occurs, until the decision of the possible mandatory process happens. Bangladesh is recommending pamphlets of pro vaccination and recommending citizens to research in trust worthy sites such as the CDC, WHO, NHS etc.

POLITICAL CRISIS DEEPENED - TWO MORE ECONOMIC BILLS FAIL TO GAIN MAJORITY IN SKUPŠTINA

Like previous time, people started to gather in front of Skupština one hour before the beginning of today's session. At its maximum, there were around 10 thousands of people protesting against PKB privatization bill and New social approach bill, written to present additional cuts to welfare system and shape structure for upcoming privatization of PKB company. In front of Skupština, there were both workers of PKB against the privatization of their company, and teachers and doctors protesting against proposed cuts in their areas. Once again, protest were led by DS MP Balša Božović, who came directly to people and discussed their problems straight forward. When session was about to start, protests ended for today.

Largest surprise of today's session was that ND MPs boycotted it. Spokesman of ND Ivica Dačić came to Skupština only to inform the press that their MP club has decided to boycott the session as they find no interest in giving legitimacy to policies doomed to fail with no majority support from inside the governing coalition. Therefore, it was much harder to find a necessary majority for holding the session, but after number of present MPs passed over 50%, session started.

Finance Minister, in his speech regarding the proposals, among other things said:

"Mr. Speaker, after last week defeat that we've faced due to rejection of our economic proposals, I believe it is essential for Skupština to correct it's misbelief regarding our economic policies. Under the pressure of opposition boycott of today's session, I think that it is of a great importance for us to show unity over this topic and decisively support the proposals. Consequences of the possible rejection of these proposals may have large impact on the future of our great nation."

After he has finished his speech, in which he called present majority to support his bills, large debate opened about the course of bills. In absence of the opposition, for a first time there was plenty of time for internal clashes between rebels in both DS and SDP on one side and mainstream fractions of both parties on the other. For a first time in months, in a live broadcast on TVs, people of Serbia could hear large number of accusations coming from both sides, including those of corruption, dishonesty and even treason. RH Speaker managed to handle the situation, but numerous warnings were given to MPs who often behaved inappropriately, as time for vote was slowly incoming.

At the final voting, the result was following:

    For - 59
    Against - 75
    Abstain - 2
    Non-present - 114

After the bills have faced another defeat today, leaving Finance Minister with not a single bill passed of all four that were proposed, he gave just a short comment while exiting the building:

I will announce my position after all considerations are done.

Man behind recent attack confirmed dead | KMC News

The Almaty Police Department has confirmed that the man behind the recent attack on pro-Jewish protesters in central Almaty was killed by armed police in the aftermath of the shooting. The nation, somewhat unaccustomed to attacks of this nature, is totally grief-stricken, with many wreaths having been placed at the site of the deaths of the seven victims.

Contrary to silencing the protestors, as the attack was intended to do, demonstrations have been ignited further, with frequent clashes between opposing far-right and anti-fascist groups. Stability has reached an all-time low, and, for the first time since Nazarbayev’s deposal, some regional authorities are discussing whether or not to put a formal curfew in place. Speaking at a rally at which over 1 million attended in order to stand against partisan hatred, Zharmakhan Tuyakbay, leader of the Alliance for Progress and potentially the next President of Krazhnoyevsk, said the following:

”I have said it before, and I will say it again. With every breath within me, I will strive to speak out against the division and hatred between fellow brothers and sisters, which is so common across the world today, and has manifested itself in this most recent attack. If I become the nation’s next President, I will put an end to this hatred once and for all - not through violence, but by bringing people closer together.”

Outgoing President Zhaparov has also described the attack as “cowardly” and “an affront to all our nation stands for”. He also urges people across the country to settle their disputes, “not through violent protest, but through constructive debate”.

In many major cities, police have been mobilised, and are on the lookout for any potential future violence. Many are echoing President Zhaparov’s urge, imploring that violent demonstrations come to an end, as the following instability simply “sets the scene” for future attacks.

Sorry, this wasn’t supposed to be posted so late.

Prime Minister Kim's October 29th speech

After a massive military parade held in unison across the Turkish nation in its major cities, Prime Minister Kim addressed the nation live from Ankara dressed in military garb.

"O great Turkish nation, I have never doubted the greatness of the Turkish people, that renewed in us by our Eternal President. For a people that will stand against the world to better our own, for a nation that will never bow to the tyranny of the outside. 10 years of war came to an end 96 years ago on this day as the Republic of Turkey was born. A republic of the Turkish people. The 29th of October is to defend your homeland, it is to dig in the trenches that will become your gravesite in the fight for our independence, it is to carry tons of ammunition on your back for the betterment of your people. It is to fight the world, as they want to destroy you. It is to believe in the immopsibile, it is to go to the frontlines with one thousand people, and only return with one. And even knowing that you will not return, but your family will wait for you. It is to stand tall against the world, and say one truth that will never be taken from us. That is that we are Turks. Today is not a vacation, rather it is the day to honour the bravery, sacrifice, the unstoppable spirit of the Turkish people. To remind the world around us that we will not be stopped. That we will never bow to them, we will defend our homeland above all. And yes, even our own lives. It is to tell the world who stands against us all, that we will not back down, that no price is too high for our freedom, for our people. To our enemies I say this we have never surrendered in our darkest hours, stood with bravery against you. On the path to victory. A crimson banner to change the course of human history. That crimson banner is what we fight for, to defend and protect, to bring our enemies down to their knees. And slay them one by one, this was true 96 years ago as we fought tooth and nail for everything, and it is today as we still do. We are walking on a single path, the hardships banging on our chests. But we found ourselves in your colours, in love with the crimson banner of this great nation. Shouting on all four sides for it, to show the world that the Turkish people love nothing more than their nation. To add strength, and power to it. From the hills of Selanik, to the islands of the Ege, from the beaches of Kibris, to the victories in Izmir. From the bloodbath we suffered, to the bloodbath we delivered against our enemies in our time of darkness. For a light, a flag that will never be extinguished. It is our duty, our oath to defend this nation against all. In the honour of those who die, and kill for our nation. Fear not, the nation is with you, the world is with you. At every turn our enemies have tried to break us, but they have failed. They have failed over and over again, but we have never turned back on the ideals of our nationalist ideals. They now lay down as the failures they are, and we stand above them, head on their skull pushing down. And their skulls will be crushed! They will all be crushed as they try to step up against the Republic! The nation will not be divided, the people will stand together against all. And we will crush all enemies. As we speed towards 2023, we will honour 100 years of our greatness against all enemies. May the Eternal President bless us all, and may our enemies fear the name of the Turkish People!”
