Fair well! Thanks for the hospitality.

Just to reiterate what Arudis said: you aren't in trouble or anything. But you can use the edit function to add that response if you'd like, or you can wait until someone else has posted. Just for future reference :)
On another note: How is everyone doing today?

Hello fellow nations, and I'm glad to have been invited to this place and I never expected to work underneath Lucifer Morningstar.

Hello; Goodbye.

How is everyone today?
Let's give this a try because we've been lacking them for a while:
Question of the Day: if you had to replace any story's protagonist, which would it be? (you do not get any powers that they have or whatnot, you are just your normal self)
Honestly, that's a tough one. Most protagonists in the stories I like run on some kind of power or ability that I don't have. Stories like Harry Potter run on things like magic AND plot convenience. I assume plot convenience might still exist? But I wouldn't get my hopes up. Honestly, I would like to take the place of Honor Harrington, but it would be a lot easier if I could pop in during her school years and not in the first book, where I would have no idea how to pilot a ship... but I can't think of any better options at the moment and that sounds more fun than trying to cop out!
Well, that's a good question. Serge from Chrono Cross, maybe? Even without any of the powers of the game, I'm just so in love with the world and story of that game.
Alternatively, taking the place of Regina/Dylan in Dino Crisis/2 could work, since it's not a world any magic or special powers are needed in.... It's all survivalist and shooting, which is something that can be feasibly learned/done. Then I just have to manage to not get eaten by the dinos. Which is probably easier than surviving the storyline of Chrono Cross without powers, but eh.
Wouldn't mind finding myself in American Gods as Shadow Moon (in the book, not the tv show, mind). Neil Gaiman's worlds are so rich and characterful, and meeting the great personalities of the gods of olde would be so intriguing!
Alllright it's been less than 24 hours but it's been a day and a night since my last one so why not
Question of the Day: What is something that's popular now, but people will be embarrassed by in the near future? (in 5 to 10 years, let's say) (And no, don't say TikTok or Fortnite. People are ALREADY embarrassed by that let's be real)
That's mostly tough for me because I don't keep track of what's popular. This is gonna be a weird one, but: Elon Musk. He's already losing popularity but the majority of people still seem to be on his bandwagon. He may be a genius but he's shown a lack of common sense and empathy during this crisis and I think it's gonna go downhill fast. People who are mooching off of his fame had better find something else to do.

A difficult question for me to answer, I must say. This goes for I guess some people, but I tend to not be fond with this rap generation. I feel as if some people will make a change to different music genre's to listen to, and by the time 5 or 10 years go by, they may look back, give it a listen and go. "Wait, I listened to that? The hell was up with me?"
Something like that.

I may have skipped a day. Oops
Question of the Day: If a genuine Artificial Intelligence existed, should it be allowed things like citizenship, human rights, etc.?
I definitely say yes. The only problem is, how does one verify if something is really artificial intelligence? Personally, I say if it's indistinguishable- or even nearly so- then what difference does it make.
1 week since shinol was created we’re hosting a holiday about in shinol

Please don't double post. It's in the laws of the region. If you want to add to what you've already said, there is an edit button.
I meant the rights that are normally given to humans, not saying they are humans. We don't have another term for it, because the only intelligent life we know is human. If we gave them 'robot rights' we'd be giving them nothing. Robot rights has no meaning.

Short answer:
Yes and also no.
Long answer:
Yes, but this would be dependent on a multitude of factors. Including but not limited to: provable sentience, individualism, presence and understanding of morals, no inherent connection to a larger intelligence and a physical body. Basically what I mean by this is that the AI must be a sentient individual, it/they/he/she (whatever) is first off provably sentient and decided as such by trained individuals and must not be part of something larger than itself (for example created to be part of an integrated multi-intelligence organization such as a company and also created by them). They also must be able to have a morality such as humans can have, which not just consists out of logic.
There is this gamebook, Choice of Robots, which handles this issue in a particular way. Within the game you take the role of a roboticist as they create great leaps in robotics, cybernetics and programming. From the start of the game you have your first robot and over the course of this game your own choices may decide the fate of the robots you create, you can decide how humanlike they'll become in their behavior, what they are meant for, etc. What I want to take from this is that such a company that makes the AI and its bodies must for 1) be authorized to do so, 2) is required to adhere to strict standards set by for example the League of Nations and 3) must adhere to the internationally recognized line where an AI would be considered sentient and applicable for its own rights.
However I can also answer this question with a no. This is because it would be, no matter how regulated it would be, to abuse this system. AIs wouldn't have the growing up period humans have, there is no childhood or a requirement that it needs parents the first couple of years. There would be no stopping the creator, which would have to be either a multimillion company or a nation, from putting biases into its "brain" and essentially taking away its individual choice from the get go. The entity creating the AIs also has a severe advantage towards any other company in the world, it can provide pre-trained (if such an option is available, and I assume it someday will) laborers that might not even have to be treated as humans, don't require vacations, might work 24/7 aside from maintenance and can be ordered online for them to use. This would kick nearly all humans out of their work and when programming gets far enough only the CEOs and upper management would be required to run a multinational business.
To sorta conclude, my final answer would have to be yes if advancements in technology cannot halt the creation of fully sentient AI. It would require extreme changes to the ways economies, societies and governments work to ultimately be fair for both humans and AI. And what I find logical aside, I would find it extremely cool if AI was so advanced you could have a society that is a mix of both humans and robots and everyone just like "Eh, fine.". Plus without it destroying the world or society or whatever.
Lux it was a joke
I have declared war on ardius considering how much power they have but how weak they are. we will honored as a powerhouse in Gaia we’ve already captured a few of there bases and bombed there 4th biggest city we will see how this war plays out
Uh... sorry to say it but that isn't how RP works, buddy. If you're interested in that, then check this out:
We have two systems of roleplaying in Grace of Gaia. The first is the Gaian RP, which is based upon the majestic realm of the Grace of Gaia and the three houses which rule it, and which the region as a whole has been built around. The second system, is Nation RP, which is a system completely separate from Gaian RP. Nation RP takes place upon the planet of Vinea. For both systems, roleplaying may be conducted on either or both of our Offsite Forum, and our Discord Server.
The current Teyrn of Roleplay is -Tulov.
All Gaian RP takes place upon the Gaia Map, and is done from an in character perspective. There are three Royal Houses which rule over parts of Gaia. You are not required to join a House to participate in Gaian RP, though doing so is recommended so that you can gain access to a better array of magic (as someone who is not in a House shall, usually, only have access to Earth magic). If you would like to apply to join a House, click here, and you will find the House Application topics pinned.
If you would like to know more about or get started in the Gaian RP, then click here to be taken to our Guide to the Gaian RP. It should contain everything you need to know to get started in the Gaian RP.
All Nation RP takes place upon the Nation Map, where players may request a spot on the map via the process laid out on the dispatch. There is no set roleplay year for the Nation RP, and roleplays in multiple eras may run concurrently. NS stats are not used nor allowed in Nation RP, and players must fill out a Power Point Ranking Chart 2.0 (PPRC2) form in addition to filing a map claim before they may officially join the RP.
If you would like to know more about or get started in the Nation RP, then click here to be taken to our Guide to the Nation RP. It should contain everything you need to know to get started in the Nation RP.
