The Department of the Heartland has given permission for Suncor Energy to construct a oil sands mine. The oil sands mine will produce about 260,000 barrels per day of oil bringing Canada’s production of barrels per day from 5.65 million barrels per day to 6.007 barrels per day. The oil sands mine will operate for 41 years and estimated to produce 3.8 billion in its life time of barrels of oil. The construction of the oil mine will take two years and is estimated to cost 20 billion dollars for the oil mine project. The oil mine is estimated to bring 7,000 construction jobs, 2,500 operating jobs, and 9 Billion USD in federal and capital tax revenue.

The Hellenic League is seeking to establish closer trade relations with U.K. (Orange-bourgogne)
Specific areas of trade we are focused on is the exportation of Greek pharmaceuticals, Dairy Products, and food products such as Grapes, pitted fruits, citrus products, wheat products and fat & oil products such as Olive Oil.
We believe the pursuit of these trade relations will result in a broader positive relationship that can develop overtime.

The MFA of the FEUSSR expresses its strongest displeasure of the unilateral conditions imposed by the UKOB. As we reiterate once more, thieves are not permitted to tack on arbitrary conditions for the return of stolen materials, and we view the Restitution Commission's so-called "jurisdiction" to be lacking and not "independent" in function.
Be that as it may, the MFA has been permitted to offer the UKOB 2 outcomes with regards to the repudiation of sanctions:
As all sanctions currently placed on the UKOB are retaliatory actions imposed after the UKOB, without a full understanding of the context or reason behind the situation, decided to emplace sanctions based on a false narrative in implicit support for terrorism. Should the UKOB withdraw their prior sanctions, or take steps to amend the situation, the FEUSSR will repudiate its sanctions, and the "Restitution" Commission can chart its course accordingly.
The FEUSSR will agree to a 90-day moratorium on all sanctions, in exchange for the return of stolen artefacts under the guidance of the "Restitution" Commission. If the UKOB is able to return all stolen artifacts to the FEUSSR, the Soviet of the Union has been given authorisation to vote on the permanent repudiation of the FEUSSR's sanctions on the UKOB.
The MFA awaits the response from Westminster.

Since the permission of free media and new political parties three months ago, the country has seen an explosion in both.
Several new political parties, the most prominent of which are the Religious-Conservative “One Uralia” party and the liberal “Democrats of the UDR or DUDR”, have popped up. Membership of both remains low, according to self reported figures, due to public apprehension of how the govt will perceive members of non-communist parties.
In media, the quickest growth has been seen in online news publishers, rather than in traditional television or print forms. Although no front runners have appeared, several blogs have begun to see increased readership since they were founded in the wake of liberalisation several months ago.

Purge in the Military ranks
Ten senior generals of the Egyptian Army were summarily dismissed on Friday, ridding the Army of a faction that has increasingly challenged the new leadership of the Revolutionary Command Council and of the RCC head chairman Ahmed Shawqi, and grown critical of the new reforms implemented in the country. Among those purged were senior party members who actively opposed the RCC's head chairman Ahmed Shawqi cooperation with the International Cooperation Council.
After their expulsion from the Army, several generals were arrested under corruption charges, and their assets were seized, All those dismissed were suspected to have been in the former regimes clique, and include Field Marshal Ayman Mansour, General Yasser Yehia, and Mohamed Ahmed, all of whom were suspected key figures during the six year reign of Field Marshal Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Last Saturday the 10 senior figures met to start mobilization against the Revolutionary Command Council leadership, pushing for an investigation into Ahmed Shawqi's coup of the previous regime and the quick allegiance with the International Cooperation Council.
In a press conference on Tuesday, Ahmed Shawqi announced the dismissal decision and the arrest of the clique. They were replaced by several young officers who according to Shawqi are going to "bring innovation to the aging army". Justifying the move, Ahmed Shawqi described the purge as a necessary step to protect the new regime from “Counter Revolution.” “There are preparations and plans for a counter coup using all the tools and money from unknown sources that is being spent to protect the interests of the imperialist who seek to undermine Egypt at every turn,” Ahmed Shawqi said in the presser.

The Egyptian state is in support of the UAN's proposal of creating a transparent and independent council, which should be made up of all affected parties, to help mediate and resolve the situation with Orange-Bourgogne. Egypt seeks the return of these artifacts back to their rightful land from the hand of colonizers, and the establishment of this council should assist in not only helping Egypt, but all the other states too. So we urge all other states to support this proposal, so the artifacts can finally be returned to their legitimate owners.

The Department of the Heartland has given the go ahead for SSR Mining Inc to construct a cobalt mine. The cobalt mine will be in Ontario. The cobalt mine is estimated to produce 25,000 tonnes of cobalt annually which is mainly used in electric cars. Construction will take one year. This will be the first cobalt mine in North America. It’s estimated to bring a revenue of 875,000,000 million dollars per year. SSR Mining Inc. has invited the leaders of Tesla, Lucid Motors, Lordstown Motors, GMC, Ford, Hyundai, KIA, and Dodge to the site to look at buying cobalt from the site.

Canada and the government of Moselie have agreed for Canada to export 200 tonnes of uranium per year to Moselie. The estimated cost per year is 26 million dollars. The uranium will be from the mine under construction in Greenland and the exporting of uranium will begin in one year. The exporting will be for 37 years.

The Maratha government decided to temporarily pause the sanctions set on Orange-bourgogne in order to resolve our claims in a faster and smoother way. We request that the "independent" commission created can review our claims and set a conclusion promptly. As a side note, we must state that this commission was handpicked solely by the British Government. None of the claimants had even a say on the composition of such a commission. We will cautiously await the conclusion acknowledging the potential biases in favor of the British Government.

The Canadian Army has announced it will be starting a new regiment called the Canadian Airborne Regiment. It will be capable of rapid deployment and it will be a commando force. It will have one artillery battery, one field engineer squadron, one signal squadron, and a service company. It will have 1,000 members in the regiment.

The Canadian Foreign League has trained its first 2 companies of 200 troops for each company for the Canadian Foreign Legion. The first company will be under the French Speaking Foreign Legion and the other will be under the English Speaking Foreign Legion. Most of the recruits come from Central/South American countries.

The Organization of American States will be having a universal ammo of 7.62. The Canadian Military will be transferring to the Beretta ARX160. The Canadian Government will be selling the C7 to law enforcement agencies. The Canadian Government will also be giving some of the C7’s to the state governments of Alberta, Trinidad, Greenland, British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut. AvtoVAZ: Acquisition of Fiskar Inc.
Tolyatti, Samara Oblast — The Volga Automotive Plant (AvtoVAZ), the country's largest automaker and producer of the famed Lada series, announced today a strategic acquisition signaling the company's efforts to expand into the electric vehicle (EV) markets. After extensive discussions with the equity and stockholders of Fisker Inc. the Soviet company will acquire a 100% stake on the American startup for USD$6.5 billion. Fisker, a car startup and EV innovator, will remain headquartered in Southern California. It's main operations will also remain in the United States as part of the agreement. The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) will finance the acquisition deal by purchasing bonds issued by AvtoVAZ, with a coupon of 4% and a life of 20 years.
Fisker Inc.m although still very much focused on its main objectives and goals before the acquisition, will also get the opportunity to expand into the Soviet market. In a partnership with its new parent company, Fisker will open a research and development (R&D) laboratory in Kiev, Ukraine SSR and a manufacturing plant in Volgograd, Russian SSR. The total cost of both efforts stands at USD$1.5 billion and will take 2 years to complete. A group of employees from the American offices will travel to Kiev once the laboratory is completed and will work at the Kiev offices for 3 years. Their goal is to train employees at the Kiev location and set up a structure that will synergize well with its American counterpart.

Following that, we have the award for Most Detailed RP! This one wasn't even close, as Far Eastern Union of Soviet Republics dominated the vote with 10 votes. Vashnal and Donau-bundesreich came in a tie for second with 2 votes each.
Following that, we have that award for the Funniest RP/Character in RP. This one is yet another tie with 4 votes each between both Imperial Eagle and Far Eastern Union of Soviet Republics! Canada came in second with 2 votes on this one as well.
And for the award for Most Active Roleplayer, this one was once again dominated by Far Eastern Union of Soviet Republics, who got 11 votes. Second place was a tie between Eulumia and Imperial Eagle for 2 votes each.

The next award is for the Most Stable RP Nation. This one was also a blowout, with Labyrnna (yours truly) getting 8 votes. Second place was taken by Romanovskaya with 3 votes.
And now, we have the Most Unique RP Government! This one went easily to The hellenes league with 6 votes. Second place was a tie between Donau-bundesreich, Labyrnna (myself) and North hellenes.
The next category, a bit of a controversial one, is for the Best Current Alliance! This one was actually a dead tie between the Asian Union and the ICC, with both 5 votes each. I commend anybody who said the UAN is the best alliance, lol.
Next up, Most Likely to Commit War Crimes! This one was once again dominated by Far Eastern Union of Soviet Republics with 8 votes. Imperial Eagle came in not too far behind at 5 votes.
The next award is a bit of a meme in itself, but for who is the Best Memelord! This one went to our very own Chancellor, Imperial Eagle with 5 votes. Far Eastern Union of Soviet Republics came in not too far behind at 3 votes.
The next award is for the Best Factbooks! This one was an absolute blowout, with 10 votes to Romanovskaya. Second place goes to Vashnal with 2 votes.

The Department of Treasury has announced it will be having new dollar bills. The Department of Treasury has also announced it will be changing the design of the toonie. The new design will be in remembrance of Armistice Day and World War One. The new toonie will feature a World War One Helmet with a poppy in the front. It will have 4 maple leaves and will say “Remember the Fallen”. On the back it will show a picture of Lt Col McCrae writing the poem called “In Flanders Fields”.
The new 10 dollar bill will feature the World War One Memorial, Poppies, In the Flanders Fields Poem, a Canadian soldier with binoculars looking over watch, and a globe.
