The Danubian Socialist Confederation has continued to hold a firm stance of anti-imperialism and a pursuit of justice for all who have suffered under the imperialist agenda of western powers.

As the Danubian-Born Activist and Writer, Elie Wiesel once said: "We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented". To stand in silence in the face of injustice can only make us complicit in that injustice, and if we were to stand in silence now we would be just as complicit in the crimes of Orange-bourgogne as they were themselves.

It is because of this that the Danubian Socialist Confederation backs the Marathan Motion so those who suffered under imperial rule can finally achieve justice and compensation for the crimes committed against them; and reclaim what is rightfully theirs but was taken from them without their consent. We believe that not just Orange-Bourgogne, but ALL former imperial powers must face justice for their atrocities so that the souls of those who suffered under imperialism may finally rest in peace.

SHUNTIAN — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that it would formally succeed Da qing empire's membership in the UAN, allowing the FEUSSR to ascend as a new member in the international forum.

The transition occurred this morning, as the Qing envoy to Geneva was repatriated, and an envoy was sent to the FEUSSR.

The FEUSSR promotes multilateralism in safeguarding the authority of all sovereign nations, advocates political order built on common values, opposes Imperialist hegemonism, and devotes itself to promoting a democratized workplace. The FEUSSR has pledged to actively participate in international peacekeeping, arms control, anti-terrorism, and environmental protection. We also attach great importance to worldwide education and development, while simultaneously supporting multilateral practical cooperation relating to counter-terrorism, humanitarian aid, climate change and environmental sustainability, avian flu, and transnational crime.

The Ministry has also reaffirmed its pledge to ensuring 'safe shelter for all', foreshadowing the potential contents of a second Five Year Plan to be completed after the First one.

Leaked documents posted on WikiLeaks indicated a gear-up in the internal government regarding plans to construct more public housing for the national populace. Maps of over 500 cities and locations were included, as well as zoning drafts and contacts with private contractors regarding the construction of over 1,000,000 apartment units. The contents of the leaks also included a transcript of a telephone call, where Beloved Leader Kum Jing-In talked with various ministers within the Ministry of Works about "the provision of a house for every household". Sample invoices and an alpha build of a payment app indicated to many that the planned housing project would be immensely affordable, charging a monthly fee of $500 USP to rent a single apartment, or $70,000 USP to purchase one outright.

Many speculate this could be part of a government plan to drive down housing costs by directly competing with a cheaper alternative. Furthermore, recent curbs on bank loans and financial assistance were also expected to induce deflation in housing costs, as many real estate companies attempt to make their properties more marketable. Across the country already, independent business surveys indicated a drop in property prices by an average of 3.5% per square meter, and industry insiders say that marked drops from 7 to 11% can be expected year-on-year. This implicit trend was made explicit in a press conference, where Commissioner of Housing Han Wu said that “homes are for living in, not for speculation”, and that "sustained inflation of home prices will only harm the economy in the long term by promoting disparities."

This, of course, is nothing spectacular of course, but was is spectacular is the rating the album received from the Internal Communications Committee (ICC). Their debut self titled album received an XXX-Z rating, which points to the bands extreme content. The ICC asks parents to keep the album out of the hands of their teenage children if at all possible.

In the ongoing effort to revitalize and bring the Hellenic League into a new era, we are proud to announce a major new project. A new stadium for PAOK FC in Toumpa. PAOK FC is a proud club with a long history, and a member of the Hellenic Super League.

The new stadium includes surrounding neighborhood revitalization and to bring hundreds of new, good paying jobs. The new stadium will be designed to fit over 41,000 supporters and will be apart of the new moments of glory that the club will bring to Toumpa.

construction will be mixed with public and private money at a cost of $2.5 billion, with construction starting in 3 months (12 RL days) and expected to last 2 years (104 RL days). The old stadium will be demolished shortly after the new stadium is finished. In its place a new area of residential housing, office space and a market is planned utilizing green and renewable resources such as urban farming and the use of solar.

We are excited for this project, and the region as a whole as we push forward to not only revitalize Macedonia, but the Hellenic League as a whole.

UAN: UAN Meeting on the Grievances of Maratha-empire against Orange-bourgogne

Geneva — Soviet Ambassador to the UAN, Comrade Dmitry Nikolayev, has called on the rest of Security Council members (Imperial Eagle [USA] and Vashnal [Japan]) along with the rest of the member nations of the UAN to meet at Geneva, Labyrnna and discuss the grievances presented by the Maratha-empire and supported by Donau-bundesreich against Orange-bourgogne. This is a matter that will likely resurface as more and more nations begin to demand repatriations of stolen artifacts and treasures. In the interest of preserving peace and stability across the world, the Soviet Delegation believes that it is important to have an in-depth discussion of how to solve a crisis centuries in the making.

We believe that beyond working on repatriation, this diplomatic body should work on creating a global record-keeping system that keeps the black markets from distributing plundered treasures. If all nations of the world work together, we will be able to build a system that will keep the trading of artifacts and treasures transparent and traceable to the legitimate owners. This way we will guarantee that artifacts are returned to their rightful owners and that legal trading of artifacts is not discouraged.

Maratha Confederacy's Repatriation Claim Backed By Jakarta

It is no secret that the rule by Orange-bourgogne over the vast and expansive Eulumian islands is nothing short of resented, a sentiment still very much carried by the populace of the archipelago nation. The Eulumian people did not ask to be incorporated into European colonial empires, and yet despite this, our resources, environments, and peoples suffered under colonial rule for centuries, oppressed by a capital thousands of kilometers away, far beyond our homelands. And for what? The betterment of the lives and riches of European imperialists at the cost of the exploitation of our nation; the imperialists thrived on another continent while our people laboured, suffered, and struggled to survive. Even in the aftermath of the second World War, the United Kingdom of Orange-Bourgogne attempted regain control of Eulumia following Japan's (Vashnal) surrender, leading to needless violence and bloodshed of Eulumian peoples only wanting freedom and independence, whereas our colonizers wanted to continue to rape our lands for their profit.

It is for these reasons that Jakarta formally declares its support of the Maratha Confederacy's demand for repatriation of stolen artifacts and goods from Westminster. Jakarta also demands that Westminster repatriate the artifacts looted by British Imperialists, and be returned to the rightful peoples from which they were taken by force, often leading to bloodshed on our own soil as we sought to keep what is sacred and meaningful to us.

Should Westminster refuse these claims outright or refuse to see to negotiations on the matter, Jakarta will enact economic sanctions against the United Kingdom of Orange-Bourgogne, and will indefinitely restrict British access to the Strait of Malacca and all other Eulumian waters and ports.

President Akiya Komi's Televised Speech

"My fellow citizens of Japan, I speak to you today as a survivor. Extreme ideologies saw me as a threat to their ideals. Their ideals would treat those in Japan who aren't fully Japanese like animals, even if they've lived in Japan all their lives. They had a grievance against any nationality that wasn't Japanese. Their ideologies would've torn Japan apart. The person who fired the shot that barely missed my heart was detained and killed for his actions. Ideologies that harm people and make people feel lesser than they are should be done away with in today's world. We all may look different, but deep down, we are more alike than anyone realizes. Takeshi Tezuka, the leader of the now defunct Japanese Purity Party is believed to be the main force behind the attempt on my life. He will be found and he will be brought to justice.

Justice reigns over us who do the right thing. When we stand with our brothers and sisters and help them through tough and easy times, we are rewarded. That is what Japan strives for, helping those around us towards a goal of peace and prosperity. Peace, however, cannot be obtained in every corner of the globe. There are some in this world that wish to do away with our line of thought. There are some in the world that wish to do away with Japan. There are some in the world that wish to do away with order. While Japan is stable, our alliances haven't been concrete. They have been word of mouth, signed documents that allowed free trade and lower tariffs, and deals between nations for goods that we need. We may now not worry about being without help in our darkest times. Earlier this week, I signed an executive order that officially entered us into the Asian Union as a founding nation. Together with the FEUSSR (Far eastern union of soviet republics), Eulumia, and Duma, we shall build up Japan and build up Asia. For far too long we have been without external help when we needed it most. Those in the world that promised us they would be by our side were nowhere to be seen. With this union, we will no longer have to be alone in our darkest times, and those in Asia will not have to be alone in their darkest times either. While the scope is limited at this point in time, we hope Asians from across the entire continent can stand with us. We stand against imperial powers that look down upon us because we aren't white. They've looked down upon us in the past like we're savages, and some still think lesser of us. That time is over.

This will usher in a new era of Japan. From this point on, we are now in the Issho Period! To Japan, to you, and to Asia!"

This way we will guarantee that artifacts are returned to their rightful owners and that legal trading of artifacts is not discouraged.

Though the Union will not take an official stance on the matter, it does however agree with the measure. Due to its own history in regards to Native Americans and the Philippines, it has endeavored to return items to both the tribal nations here in North America or make sure that are displayed with respect and in the case of the Philippines, we have gone so far as to return any items taken during American control over said nation until 1947 even in the midst of the Second Civil War. Also, we wish to inform our counterparts in the Soviet Union that we will be conducting a Freedom of Navigation exercise in the Arctic Ocean. This of course does not mean will approach legal Soviet waters or coastal regions and the size of the fleet conduction the movement will be small in nature, containing four battleships, (two Montana Class and two Liberty Class) and six Farragut Class DDGs along with two fleet replenishment ships. We hope that our Soviet counterparts understand that the exercise is peaceful and in what is recognized as international waters.

Famous homeless protestor found dead

An elderly, homeless man, real name unknown but familiar to the locals as the Isaac, was found dead on the streets this morning. Isaac had been protesting outside the People's Congress building (October Hall) for years in opposition to the authoritarian regime. but had ramped up the frequency and audacity with which he had done so since the "election" of Valeri Stepanovich six weeks ago. Isaac, the grandson of men who fought in the Russian Revolution alongside the Reds, continued the tradition of his forefathers as an ardent anarchist and opponent to the "Communist" regime. Even those who disagreed with the man mourn his death and acknowledge that the Government should answer for this -suspected- political murder, a practice the public considers long since out of date and entirely unacceptable.

As of now officials from the People's Congress nor from the Central Committee are yet to comment.

CNINR complex, about 170 km northwest of Chengdu.

Two black sedans are parked in the hangar of the small airport where a twin-engine plane rolls and stops in front. From there comes a man, very young and casually dressed. Yes, he looks around and then heads for the cars. Leaning on the hood of one of the two cars there is a woman who goes up to him and shakes his hand "welcome Tom, I'm Isabelle Chang, director of the complex"
"My pleasure" replies Tom.

After introducing themselves, they get into the car and leave.
After a ten-minute journey and numerous security checkpoints, they arrive near a large cube-shaped building.
"Here is The Cube, the government research center for the study and design of new energy sources" Isabelle tells Tom
"Wonderful" the boy exclaims.
"Well in a while you will be able to see the prototype live, what do you think? Says the woman smiling.
"I couldn't wait," she replies smiling.

Shortly after the two people are walking along a very illuminated corridor that seems to never end, suddenly the director opens a door and another corridor appears, this time circular and less illuminated, on the other side there is a long window, the two approach them and in front of them a strange orange structure appears with large pipes and cables running all around it.
"Here's the prototype," Isabelle tells Tom.

~ Department of State for External Affairs, Orange-bourgogne

To the Government of the Maratha-empire,

As you might have noticed from our policies since the latter half of the last century, the United Kingdom of Orange-bourgogne does no longer favour any kind of imperialism. We find it ironic and hypocritical that you accuse the Avalon-regime of imperialism while your own nation is known as an Empire.

The Government does not deny that several atrocities were committed in the past, because they undoubtably were. However, that era is now gone by and we would like to keep it in the past. Our Government is willing to discuss ways in which we can compensate those who directly suffered from inhumane crimes caused by Orange-Bourgognians. What we will not do on the other hand, is "compensate" those who have not directly been affected at our watch.

Where it concerns the royal regalia of Orange-bourgogne, they will not be returned. They are not only embedded in the history of your Empire, but in our nation as well. Relics looked after by the Orange-Bourgognian Museum and other similar institutions will be dealt with by these private bodies.

Regarding your proposal to settle the dispute through the involvement of the United Assembly of Nations, Orange-bourgogne is not a Member-State to the UAN, and as such we have no intention to resolve our disagreement on this matter in this manner — especially when we take into consideration the recent negligence of and disrespectful behaviour towards our own interests by that international organisation.

Finally, we do not give in threats of economic and other sanctions. Of course we urge you to refrain from imposing them, but we will not hesitate to issue countermeasures if so thought necessary.
