I have not set foot in the City since I left in July of last year (and nor do I have a desire to go back), but you didn’t have to walk far to get a nice smell somewhere. It was all over, lol. I wish the rest of the country would get with the program.

We’re up to 10 states with recreational weed, I think?

See ya later.

The black horns wrote:No, legally it's not. If you have to, you have to bring your own and add it to your own ordered pizza in the confines of your own home as recreational use is still illegal here. Medicinal pot is legal but it's not the same (no THC in it), plus CBD oil is legal here still, you don't get "high", that is THC.

You are incorrect about medical cannabis: "Cannabis in New York when containing more than 0.3% THC, is illegal for recreational use, but is permitted for medical use, and possession of small amounts is decriminalized." Kinectia just needs to make friends with somebody who has a medical card!

Sorry but weed is illegal here.

P.S. I'm from the Philippines and we hate drug addicts...Thanks Duterte.

There's no pizza in New York. Take the train to New Haven; the holy city of pizza.

Perhaps, I should be clearer.

I did not think you were presenting a poem. I was trying, unsuccessfully, to point out that your posts looked odd and perhaps you should reconsider your style. I was doing so in a way that was intended be disarmingly humorous in the hope you'd pick up on the subtle cue.

However as subtlety has not worked, here is what I meant.

Please consider writing normally. The non-capitalised thing using lots of line breaks is really painful to look at, and is hampering my ability to take your words in any way seriously.

Welp, I just murdered my elderly. There goes my Lifespan from the 93s to the 52s. RIP my Yellow rank.

They were using welfare unnecessarily, so no great loss.

Well that's unfair. Theo Marzials deserves respect.

Finally got rid of the corporal punishment policy. Whew.

Congrats! I don't officially still allow that, but I do have Gun Ownership and No Prisons, so...

You have my sympathy.

I lost the one yellow stat I actually care about with a completely illogical result the other day. I enforced a schooling program aimed at increasing atheism (literally said that in the description), and it instead cancelled my state atheism policy, increased religiosity by something like 30%, and dropped my secularism by more than 3%. I was nearly top 1000 for secularism and it took months at a time to go up 0.01 of a point, and I lost 3.35 in a split second :-( :-( :-(

I like how one of my country papers is called "The Nighthaven Sentinel"

That's very fitting for my nation.

I don't see why it would cancel your state atheism policy, but i get why establishing a state religion would lower secularism, and by so doing increase religiousness.

"Excuse me do you have a moment to talk about our lord and saviour No One At All?"

Just for the record - I didn’t come to NYC for the herbs - I came for the Mermaid Parade at Coney Island - yay! ...oh and the Games for Change Conf. Just happens I saw this bold sign on top of a taxi one morning

That made me laugh

Yellow stats? What are those? I have green and red only! Also, I have an official "religion" and am top 5% in secularism. You just have to pick official agnosticism when the state religion issue comes in. Than you can enter anything you want without having large movements in secularism and religiousness. I will have to watch out for this secularism-killing issue though! Machine Worship is not going anywhere so I hope that there is a way to get past it without messing around with Machine Christ since It rusted for our sins. Machine Christ's pronouns are It/That BTW. Gendering monotheistic "[G]ods" seems kind of silly (Apologies to anyone who has a RW faith that involves worship of a single he/him/she/her. I am simply an outsider looking in.).

That sounds like option 2 on Issue 897. The option text ends: "You should set children free to explore alternatives to the kooky bull peddled by their parents. Don’t you believe in freedom of religion, Leader?” That looks to me as if it would cancel a state atheism policy, which is distinctly opposed to freedom of religion and exploring alternatives, and increase religiousness compared to a situation where religious practice was illegal.

Also, Keilersmoor ceased to exist. :( I don't know if it was original to them, but I so much loved the anarchist mole logo from Keilersmoor's Vegan Front.

From Areulder's page: "Most Recent Government Activity: 1 day 9 hours ago". Not really time to send out search parties just yet.

Nah, t'wasn't that one - I would never give my children that freedom. This was 1014, where option one is the outright execution of all people who espouse religious beliefs. I decided to use the non-execution pro-atheism option, which proved a mistake. I've received this issue before and have always gone with execution, but decided not to this time. Turns out to have been a mistake!

It reads the "don't force people" line as if it were a government acknowledgement of religion, as opposed to a government endorsement of more subtle thought control.

I get sick of dismissing 90% of issues because their effects are too silly for my tastes, so I paid the price of playing in this case. I'll get back there and resume executions shortly!
