And as you say, Linhardt and Bernadetta would be tough sells too, just due to how aggressively their personalities clash. But yeah, she gets along with most everyone, as long as they can deal with her baggage, another thing the previous two would probably struggle with.

But do you know who else would get along well with pretty much eveyone in the house? My main man, the Ferd!

You did the work for me here, but as I've previously discussed with Ferd's flexibility in alignment, his rivalry has both political and personal admiration aspects. They find the latter, plus a general sense of mutual respect and appreciation, throughout their supports, if Edelgard balances out the one-way fixation by reciprocating a little more attention... this is doable.

Their A+ support and a couple hundred artists has made this pretty close to cannon. But realistically, it's not the most out there, they both grow to respect each other and how they serve Edelgard and the Empire in their own ways and follow their own convictions. It's this common commitment to service and lifestyle, plus an appreciation for hot brewed caffinated drinks, that will carry this one.

It's about as trad as you can get in this game, considering they were literally engaged by their parents (and Berandetta basically becomes a housewife in their paired ending). Ferdinand clearly helps Bernadetta here, encouraging her to grow in the way he tries to in their supports while taking the social pressure off of her, while her quieter nature can help keep Ferd grounded and appreciating the little things in life. It's not the most inspiring relationship out there, but it's certainly pheasible, and clearly conforms to the characters of both.

Two outgoing, ambitious, self-assured men who are motivated by strongly held ideals of what is right, but just take different roads to get there. Their supports showed the convergence of those ideas well. They were on to something... shame there are only two.

Just look at their supports. I don't need to explain this one.

The similarities between the two are clear to see, even moreso than Caspar. Both are hardworking, kind, politically ambitious, outdorsy types who are proud of their respective cultures and occassionally face social challenges understanding the true emotions of others, albeit for different reasons. Just watch their supports. They get on wonderfully, expand each other's cultural perspectives, and find new reasons to respect each other. This is one of those ships that literally everyone seems to be sleeping on imo, and I think you know the reason why. I find it difficult to see either leaving their respective homelands for each other, but at least Ferdinand isn't as committed as someone like Edelgard would be, having lost his hereditary territory. But the ending does offer a decent solution, either having Ferdinand move to Brigid after helping rebuild Aegir territory or becoming Edelgard's MoFA and moving to Nuvelle with Petra. While I'm not quite sold on the latter part due to the practical necessities being a MoFA would require, both provide a good follow up to their surprisingly overt A support. Again, literally the entire fanbase is sleeping on this ship. It's ridiculous.

Yeah... this one might be a stretch. Alright, it might not even be remotely possible. But that's only because Linhardt basically canonically hates the guy. But one out of seven ain't bad going, is it?

I am thinking that Edelgard and I can be getting along well, as long as she is respecting the independence of Brigid from the Empire, not as vassals. But Ferdinand, yes, I am also appreciating and supporting you greatly as well. You are right, someone must be linking the peoples of Fodlan and Brigid as equals and friends. But after I am confident that Brigid is safe and secure, I may be willing to move away, perhaps to be staying with someone else?

A warm welcome to Central Almyra to the region of Fodlan! While not of Fodlan themselves, all neighbors and friends of our land and the inhabitants of its world are welcome! Eagles, Lions, Deer, Wolves, and more are appreciated. Regardless, do not be shy on the RMB, and please consider joining our regional discord!

Oh Ferdie dear, I think you *DO* need to explain my hypothetical relationship to Edie. The people demand it!

Yes, we will be having friendship and cooperation between Brigid, Fodlan, and Almyra, as well as Dagda, Morfis, Albinea, and all of the other lands. War and argument is not having value for any of our peoples.

Do not be worrying, Dorothea. You will not be hit by any person or dragon, as I will be protecting you!

Awwwww, my heroine!

...Petra, do you remember that last conversation we had? I've been thinking of it a lot lately. I am sort of thinking I'd like to visit you in Brigid sometime soon.

Are you sure of that, Petra? Are countries not like different, locked in a struggle of hunting and fighting? All are different, but only some can be cooperating peacefully, as the smaller and weaker must either be wary of attack from the larger neighbors, or subservient to their interests? Forgive my challenge, but I am curious to hear your perspective.

Do you expect their sensibilities to be more to your liking than the corrupt noble culture of Fodlan you have been born into? Still, I would not expect it to be a country of Petras, based on some of the things that she's said about the place...

I'm unsure of what I'll think of Brigid. I can't know until I go. I won't judge until I do. But what I do know is I'll have some excellent companionship. Petra is wonderful.

And honestly, I am tired of being in the Palace. Edie and the Professor make great hosts, but I am tired of having Hubert staring over my shoulder. It's creepy, and he keeps asking me to run errands 'for the sake of Lady Edelgard."

I think he is offloading his own duties onto me...

Lady Dorothea, we of Albertia would also like to invite you to our beautiful nation. The king would like meet you as well as the crown prince after hearing the all the story that his father told about the songstress of Enbarr who is also know for magic ability. Let us know, if you like we could also invite Queen Petra to come.

Of course. May the friendship of Fodlan and Brigid remain strong, robust, a partnership of equals and allies.

Mmm... is that the noblest perspective to view these matters? Perhaps international matters can be seen differently from domestic affairs. Still, her Majesty's Adrestia upholds the concert and sovereignty of all humanity, whether within Fodlan or without!

Do excuse Hubert, it is merely his job to be aware of any and all pertaining to Her Majesty and the Imperial Palace at all times. And to ensure all imperial matters are well taken care of. If he does take it upon himself to delegate responsibilities to you, be proud! It very well could be a sign of great trust.

Ah, if only there was happened to be another young woman even more fanatically devoted to Her Majesty, and more than willing to assume all the imperial duties and tasks (both administrative and "personal") foisted upon her, with even more enthusiasm and effort than even Hubert... Than you could be, at least partially relieved of your duties, and find liberty to walk the crowded streets of Enbarr of your own designs.

Ah, but what a fantasy. Such an ardent servant of the Empire and Emperor could never exist! What a preposterous thought.

It is merely a hypothetical to see what our Brigid friend would think of the situation.

Heh at your last bit there. I see who you're talking about. Assuming you've seen at least a few of her supports, what do you think of her? Both personally, as a character, anything.

Oh my gosh, that is so kind of you! I could use a vacation. I'll ask Petra if she wants to come, maybe Bernie and Lysithea too...

Emperor Edelgard von Hresvelg

Hey Edie want to have a girls night out in Albertia???!

Could we take the imperial carriage there 🥺?

Of course we can take the horses! I'll have Ferdinand saddle them up for us, and we can be off!

...He's been doing errands for me, without asking. I think he is just trying to prove to me I should let him be Prime Minister, and I am taking full advantage.

What he doesn't know is I was going to appoint him anyways, but now I'm milking it.

Well, there is no doubt that Monica is a truly loyal and earnest Adrestian Comrade, and for that alone I must admit I can appreciate her. But still, as a new character, she is not particularly well-developed, either in her current state or even in her background and motivations, even if some hints are there and assumptions can be made. One may attribute this in part to her lack of supports, but those supports that she does have, (with Shez, her Emperor, the fellow devotee of her Emperor, and another woman she crushes on like her Emperor) do not do a brilliant job of fleshing her out or making her a particularly relatable or likeable character. There's certainly the basis of a good character there, as she has many varied interests in her info page, and a practically unexplained Crest of Macuil, but more is needed.

At least her brazenly apparent homosexuality (augmentation with Dorothea's comments on her openness to "a beautiful wife") has solidified the Black Eagles' now indisputable status as the gayest of the houses. Indeed, the Empire truly is the most accepting and tolerant of all sexualities and peoples, so long as they hold to it's cherished ideals.

Hmmm? It looks like a couple of fools tried to raid us about a week ago. Or used us as ajump point? Whatever. On another note, we should totally improve this region's documents, citizenship records, and maybe add a regional map? Just ideas The Adrestian Empire

I can't get a read on what Madison does, but Artificial Solar System claims to be a defender region. As such, I believe they were here with honest intent, but yes, regardless of their motivations, we could improve security. Even if they were here just to defend...well, the fact that they felt compelled to jump in in the first place means that we must have seemed a bit defenseless.

And yes, I definitely agree we should add all that good stuff.

I'm not sure that means anything Korea. I've seen people try raids like this before, and I think they'll jump around region-to-region testing the defenses. Artificial Solar System might not actually be their native region.

Our WA no longer has executive power, so it's not like a raid can do anything, as long as Adrestia remains reasonably active, that is. It is possible that the group could have used us as testing or practice jump, or a waypoint to disguise their origin on an attempt to hit another location. Honestly, I kind of like the attention. Kinda makes me feel like some people care about our little region.

Citizenship, you say? Indeed, a registry of active nations could be useful, especially as we grow. Likewise, a map would be easy to set up. Still, how should we make use of it? Perhaps we can set up a new regional universe, where Fodlan, as a region, is divided into individual fiefdoms, either independent of or under the auspices of one of the four (nine, counting foreign powers) political entities of the continent. Then, individual nations may likewise develop information and RP as their respective realms within an alternate 1180s. The question that remains is how to grant claims in an equitable manner, while leaving space for potential newcomers.

Regardless, we must first establish who is ho here would like to be on the initial citizen register. We are small enough that we do not yet need a vetting process. Who would like to be listed?
