i wasn't talking about liberals vs. republicans. there's factual evidence that george floyd was high on fentanyl during his arrest, and why he was saying "i can't breathe" was because he was panicking when still in the police car. so chauvin threw him on the ground and restrained him, using a police certified restraint strategy, which was putting the knee on the neck. chauvin did this for way too long, and I do believe he should be accused of manslaughter and be sentenced. autopsy reports show that even if floyd was never killed by chauvin, he would of died because of overdose a few hours later. all americans are guaranteed fair trial by the sixth amendment, no matter how bad the crime was. an example of this is john adams, an american revolutionary and lawyer who had to defend the british soldiers in Boston who committed the boston massacre, even though he had a strong hatred against the british. I'm not defending chauvin, he deserves some sort of sentence of the atrocity he committed, and there's also a very low chance he'll come out as non-guilty.
