Karelia uses its own Finnic language [apart from Russian, okors], many official signs are bilingual there, for example the sign saying Republic of Karelia:

Nah it was forced and badly written

I haven't seen GoT 😬

Glad to see Ukraine and Russia respecting Crimea's referendum to join Russia since it's 100% Russian 👍

If you got successfully enlisted in Russian agents thingy you can contradict literally everything including wikipedia or any official source that goes against your opinion

South St Maarten wrote:Okay, question to non native english speakers: how did english sound to you before you learned how to speak it? I remember how french and dutch and mandarin, etc. sounded before i learned words in it, so just interested how english sounds if you don't know how to speak it.

For me, it sound like someone was speaking with a burnt tongue.
(If you are interested, I'm Russian)

XD interesting too how different cultures could hear different languages without understanding them differently

What part of Russia you’re from?

I am unable to answer your question South St Maarten because I simply don’t remember the time when I didn’t speak English. I assume I never paid attention to this language until I needed to use it

Einswenn wrote:What part of Russia you’re from?

I'm from Kaliningrad (Kaliningradskaya Oblast) :)

People who thought, that 2020 ''will finally be a good year''

Edit: national republics in Russia often use two languages as official with bilingual signs of state departments, streets, geographic names etc. Including Tatarstan, the language of which was mentioned by Libertandonien earlier, Tatar is the second most spoken local language in Russia.

:o
I assumed, that Tatar was spoken a lot in parts of Russia, but not that much

When it’s constantly +27/34’C with high humidity and lack of tree shade you’d be pretty much ok with cold water. Другой вопрос в том, что вода в финском заливе непригодна для купания :Р
