He was butthurt over the fact Iceland was once considered a Danish colony and I told him that by indirectly blaming Norway for the colonial activities is wrong and downplays the role Denmark-Norway and the Danish monarchy played

I also mentioned that Denmark-Norway and the Kalmar Union are considered separate political entities from Denmark and Norway individually
So therefore saying that Greenland, Iceland and the Faroes are only Norwegian possessions is false
They were Dano-Norwegian under the same king seated in Copenhagen
