Wow, the UK would be the first country to abolish all of its tariffs for the entire world. If they really do that, I would really like to see the results.

Hi

Tara taranilor romani

I would never have thought I'd consider voting for LePen one day but Macron is just that bad. I voted Mélanchon first turn.
It's either voting for a ""charismatic"" nobody who's going to sell out the country to the highest bidders, or some ""patriotic"" assholes...

You know, you gotta look on the bright side of things, I'm just glad I still have a right to vote and I want to use it for the candidate that goes the least against my own interests, even if both are crap, and even if most French people got bamboozled, don't know how to vote and screwed things up for everyone else.

You may find that the candidate you are voting for is bad and in such a case it pays to not vote.

Emmanuel Macron the undefined undecided little precise.
It is not left, it is not right, it is left and it is also right. He does not say clearly about the refugee crisis, but says that his country's colonization in Africa was a humanitarian crime. This man does not defend anything, he believes in nothing and in his country. They say that the French elections are uncertain about the future of France, but if Macron govern the uncertainty is overwhelming!
Emmanuel Macron is a political hermaphrodite.

Me and a lot of French people do not agree with you, because some people vote for him, so it is not quite a political hermaphrodite. So my dear I have already been so I will not be active in the chat

Let's talk about something positive.
Like the fact that I've found my old Civilization II CD earlier. And it still works :D

As an American, you don't want the French version of Trump. Trust me. Don't vote Le Pen. You're asking to be fooled.

Le Pen is trying to undermine liberal democracy in France. Don't vote for her. She's the French Trump

Is she though? Any arguments? For instance, she's been on the political scene for much longer.
Macron seems just as bad for different reasons.
If the people was educated enough, Hamon and Sanders would be presidents.

Basically there's three economic models: mercantilism, social-democratic, and neoliberal. Le Pen, cutting through all her rhetoric, seems to be advocating for a mercantilist approach. By advocating things like France for the French and closed borders, she's rejecting the neoliberal globalization model and certainly isn't a social democrat, which leaves mercantilism. I don't want a more isolated France, I want France's input into the global arena. Le Pen wants to withdraw and focus only on France. Our world is too interdependent for that to work anymore.

If your aunt had balls she'd be your uncle. Humans aren't rational. The US Election should have reminded the world of that, if nothing else. It is much better to stay the course, become active politically, rally the interest groups, and then press on in the next election.
