[In the midst of chaotic gunfire and sprays of blue Gray blood, those with a keen eye and some knowledge of combat thaumaturgy would have detected several colorless ripples of energy. Out of the smoke, the men of the RDC-SF emerged, stray bullets fizzling out in white sparks against invisible shields, rifles raised and firing in controlled bursts at the attacking soldiers. They advanced methodically, fanning out in a semicircle towards the outskirts of the village towards their attackers, shrugging off small arms fire.]

Lumei: [Her head tilts slightly in curiosity] Worse?
Illys: I would like to know as well. My original suggestion was this: there is a significant Corpo detachment in the forest settlement east of here. I gather the Sisters who are loyal to me, you gather any men still in fighting shape, and we take their ships. Get as many off this planet as we can.

Edit: Addition
[Dr. Kelariko gazes through the one-way viewing screen of Cell Block C aboard the Nahum, peering through the fog of thaumic smoke to make out the blurred shapes of twisted and mangled bodies, all that remained of the batch of Masoperdermites that had sought refuge there. He sighs in disappointment, then turns to one of his researchers.]
Kelariko: Any life signs?
Researcher: None yet, sir. We're stilling scanning though, give us some-
[A hacking, choking cough, muffled by the partition, turns both men's attentions back to the viewing screen. Slowly, but surely, in sudden and jerking motions, the emaciated body of a young woman gets to her feet, her head tilted at an odd angle as she observes the carnage around her. The smoke is too thick to make out her expression as she takes in the remains of what are surely family and friends all around her.]
Kelariko: She's the one. Get her to accelerated testing immediately.
Scientists at Japan have detected a tenth planet in the solar system. To their horror, the planet seems to be moving at the direction of Earth. The space probe Icarus has documented a horrifying video on the previous day. The video shows a long giant thing resembling a tongue coming out of the planet and wrapping the dwarf planet Pluto. It went back to the planet at an unnatural speed. It would do that to other planets for the next few days. A few weeks later, the planet appeared close to Earth. People could see that it has a giant eye and a valley resembling a mouth. The planet used its long tongue to hold the moon and devour the satellite. It stared for a while at the Earth before moving away to devour Venus. After devouring Venus, it moved further from the sun before leaving the solar system to its own devices.

"A valiant plan, but tell me." The masked man's voice sounded battered yet imposing(Think perhaps, Ainz's voice from overlord but more deeper?). "How do you plan on using the ships to bypass the fleets above, is your flesh powerful enough to withstand suchh firepower?" A half mocking tone escaped his breath, as his scaly gauntlet gestured among the stars.
"No, you need the fleet above to be distracted....or in this case." He turned towards the two.
"Destroyed." He said in a eager tone, as if smiling from cheek to cheek behind the skeletal mask.
"And my master is eager for such to happen." He paused for a moment, letting his words sink in.

Illys: [Her eyes narrow, as though trying to see if the masked man is bluffing] ...you're saying you have the means of destroying the Gray blockade? Exactly how do you propose to take out an entire fleet of warships when the entirety of the Order detachment here couldn't hold them off?

"I hold a 'transponder', that makes invisible one invisible to the Grey IFF." He chuckles darkly.
"All I ask in this...partnership," he pauses as he looks on towards Illys and the man. "Is 2 ships, of what you'll be taking and some...timing in both our ends."
"You are free to have this little...'exodus' of yours." He said half mocking. "After all, what's more distractions in light of the sea of apocalypse." He graciously said, as if quoting. "Do we have a deal?" The masked skeletal man says, reaching out his scaly gauntlet. The fact the mask only reflects darkened irises is quite imposing.

[Illys doesn't trust him, but as she gazes upon the impassivity of his mask, she considers her alternatives and decides that any help is help she will accept at this point. Her dagger dissolves into a fine mist in her hands, seemingly absorbed back into its wielder, and she shakes the gauntlet of the unknowable man.]
Illys: Deal. Now let's go surprise our Corpo friends. [She looks back at the Masoperderm soldier] What about you?

[Emmett Kelariko remembers the first time he witnessed fleshcrafting in action.
It would've been a typical day during break at his preparatory school, indulging in a bit of fun with his friends at their favorite source of entertainment - at the expense of the pathetic little Angelan kid they relentlessly picked on day after day. Kelariko, as was right, had become the ringleader of this group of bullies, his natural disposition towards both persuasion and intimidation placing him at the top of a hierarchy that chewed and spat out the weak. It's not like the Angelan kid had really done anything wrong, but that was besides the point. He was an easy target, he didn't fight back, and he wasn't a god***n snitch.
On this particular day, things had gotten a bit more out of hand than Kelariko would have liked, but apparently one of his friends - Davis, or something or other - had returned from the holidays with a black eye from his drunk father, and was itching to take it out on the Angelan kid. Really, who was Kelariko to stop the surprisingly vehement bloodlust that ensured as Davis began to pummel the kid with his fists, drawing blood and splattering the courtyard ground with crimson. Knowing that showing his reluctance to further this action would've resulted in derision and ridicule, Kelariko smiled viciously and encouraged the beating, settling into a chant as the group of bullies encircled the attacker and attacked.]
Kill the Sarkite! Kill the Sarkite!
[Before any of them could register what had happened, a much more vivid burst of crimson showered the circle, and before Kelariko's very eyes he saw Davis's now headless body slump lifelessly to the ground. Below...the Angelan kid, his face twisted in a snarl beyond reasoning, his hand clenched in a fist, shimmering swirls of invisible energy felt more than seen...]
---
[So one could forgive Kelariko for barely hiding a shudder of disgust as he faced the holoprojection of Sister Nephara before him on his communications console.
Oh, how he hated them. Hated them for messing with the natural order of things. And not just the d**n Sarkites either, all those things that refused to fit neatly into understood science, that categorically refused to be shoved into the little boxes which made the world turn and where each and every phenomena in this universe belonged.
His face, however, betrayed none of this.]
Kelariko: Sister Nephara, I assure you that my organization will not interfere with your evacuation. However, we simply cannot allow you to provide further assistance to the residents of Masoperderm. You have twenty-four hours to leave the planet's orbit before the Grays come upon your base camp...and I will have no choice but to carry out my end of the agreement.
[He hated them, sure...but when twisted, crushed, and forced into the little boxes of order to serve the cause of normalcy...they could be quite useful.]

The Masoperdermite soldier would look at the two and ponder. there wasn't really a choice to begin with, it was either this or possibly lose everyone anyway. what else was there to lose? the man would nod at Illys as he spoke. "let's raise hell then." he said as he slung the rifle over his shoulders. "if we fail, at least we'll take more of them with us.
---
Summer would nod. she explained further "ever since they tried there were attacks. video feeds of the expeditions were never recovered, only the audio. I don't know what was on going besides the sounds of gunfire and... it sounded like some form of energy. When Heinrich sent another experimental ship to escort the survivors out the live video feed showed only it being shot down from flight. another 200 were thought to be perished. but there's some that think they're still alive due to an audio recording hailing the order a final time days after the rescue attempt. a mans voice said to not send anyone else further but not to worry... he placed a name, that they were now following a certain woman named Junko which was not on our record. he added that they were to 'avenge' themselves with him calling themselves the 'Company of the Dark Sun' at the end."
Summer shook her head. "that was the last time the order was in contact with them, but that voice... it was dripping venom from what they tell me. ever since the order was timid with societies that held sorcery."

the Order remnants engaging with the RDC-SF would have tremendous casualties, forcing the attacking force to fall back. however, the sniper support would nose cease its function as the Grays were following the RDC-SF as they unleashed their plasma weaponry. had it not been for the selfless act of one man, the entire remnant would have been caught and possibly killed off. For one, the order soldier would load the MG before pulling the slide. he would watch as the beams of energy and plasma flew past his head as he laid on the road. after what felt like an eternity, he would unleash the entirety of his belt. the bullets were not to kill them all, there was no possible way not with Gray armor and from observation the RDC-SF's technology was preventing any real harm to their wearer. but he had to fight none the less.
the bullets whizzed past the defenders, bullets bouncing off their shields and armor as if they were paper spit wads against a tank. when the ammo ran dry, the man, rather than staying there, would grab a spade from his side, pull the trigger of his grenade and shouted on the top of his lungs as he ran and... promptly was shot in the chest, falling on his knees with his last breath of life would throw the singular frag grenade at the advancing defenders.

[The MG rounds did not hit nearly hard enough to penetrate the RDC-SF operatives' T-shields, but it did slow them down...enough that genuine alarm was in the sergeant's voice as he yelled at his men to take cover; luckily, they were spread out far enough that the explosion did little more than knock the wind out of two of them. The first to recover scrambled to their feet and dashed through the smoke, their multi-optical devices clearing the haze faster than the naked human eye could achieve visibility...only to see the figure of a seemingly unarmed woman standing before them.]
Illys: [Spares a glance down at the dying Order soldier, and drops to one knee beside him] You were very brave. Go in peace. [She extends her hand, shutting off the soldier's pain receptors and lulling him into a final sleep. Once this is done, she gets to her feet and stares down the Grays and the RDC-SF operatives, dozens of rifles trained on her, her voice mild but her tone unmistakable] You have done enough here. I'll give you this one chance to leave. Oh! [Mock cheerfulness] We'll be taking your ships too.

Lumei: [Having listened intently to Summer as she spoke, she nods sadly at the conclusion of her story] Unfortunately, such is the fate of many who go Wandering without knowing the nature of the greater universe. We have lost many who went into the nothing at the edge of Lamplight, and those who met fates worse than death exploring the far reaches of the Dreamlands. This frontier, beyond our everything...I believe it will be the next great destination once humanity has mapped out the stars. I have never gone Wandering, myself...I admit, I am terrified...but perhaps one day. [She pauses as the waitress brings them two piping hot cups of coffee, its rich, earthy scent enveloping them as more items are placed upon the table; ornate vials and trays of sugar cubes, honey, milk, and assorted sweets. Lumei thanks the waitress and delicately places two sugar cubes into her coffee as she continues, curious] Tell me, has the Order given up on finding the expedition, or are searches still ongoing? "A fine symphony of death, but far too slow." The masked man's voice echoes, a hint of mockery could be felt as his shadow appears behind the soldiers. His skeletal gauntlet gripping the air in a swift manner, as sleek but metallic lances burst through the ground.
His eyes looked at Illys, dark and beheld with no sense of compassion to those the lances now impaled. "Is there a problem?"

As the man and Illys stood before the combination of Grays and RDC personel, The grays were raising their rifles before they were skewered behind. they fell down, thudding against the ground. one of them was recording the battle that formerly was ongoing sending a live broadcast to General Okshed's technical center. the lenses on the helmet zoomed onto the pair before the gray became motionless.
---
At Odenava, Kai and his men were finally given the order to prepare for battle. past the trench line, the sounds of machinery at work screeched in a high-pitched scratching noise as the order artillery adjusted their sights. after moments of orders being exchanged the Artillery of the Order would sound off its tremendous symphony of the wrath of God. the trenches were filled with a high-pitched screech of the whistle before several soldiers went over the top of the trench. War cries erupted as the artillery continued its creeping barrage. The ground shot into the air with every shell breaking the ground it landed on and unleashed its lethal blows. The Grays hunkered down in their positions as the Artillery suppressed their positions from being entirely useful to stopping the counterattack.
Soon Kai and his group were finding themselves at the front of the trench as the sounds of battle were ongoing. He could see the blares of distant light and hear the echos of plasma and machine gun fire along the horizon. The Artillery behind him had been shooting so much the barrels glowed a hot red as the crew were loading shells still. it had been only 30 minutes and the artillery had managed to fire at least 10,000 shells, at least what Kais suspected.

At Libertaria the mass of refugees began to flood as the fall of Masoperderm was public knowledge. The Kaiser sat in a chair as he pinched the temple of his forehead as he squeezed his eyes shut. He would look up from the floor as he saw the news report on the mass mobilization of the planet. All were called to serve, there could be no escape for the inhabitants this time. he knew it. Libertaria would become a battlefield that would decide the fate of the order. while half of Parliament would elect to remain on Libertaria as solidarity with their people, the other half had fled to the outer territories. Hope was faultering and Jayden knew it. he brushed his hair with his hands as he sighed. now was not the time to worry, for he was in a position where he couldn't afford to do so. Jayden stood up as he glanced at the window, his eyes looked at the grey clouds. At first that was all he saw, but then a small crack between the clouds revealed a blue color, Jayden cracked a small smile. taking it as a sign that there still was a sliver of hope, the Kaiser would direct his attention towards the television that continued its broadcast.
"Libertaria shall stand." he said to himself.
Only 3 hours before apocalypse!!
Happy Z-Day everybody!
