I can't sate my consumeristic mind under communism
A lot of people mean authoritarianism when they say "commies" instead of the philosophy - when in reality the features they ascribe to "commies" can just as well be applied to the modern day elite throughout the world. So in their sense of the word "commies", which paradoxically means the capitalistic and authoritarian elite - which stand in direct opposition to communistic philosophy, I too hate the commies.

One, I value the private life as a libertarian conservative. An overarching state that takes that right away will find me fighting it tooth and nail to keep it. Two, I’ve read up on their atrocious evil actions and it’s nothing to forgive. 100 million dead is a sign it’s not working. And even if I lower those numbers, it still doesn’t get better. Three, communism is probably the most nebulous ideology when it comes to having enemies. Anyone and everyone is a target. Fourth, Marx is quite possibly the most awful writer who did nothing but leech off his family and Engels for his entire life like a man child. Reading his father’s letters really just makes you realize how little Marx cares about those he claims to be writing for. Fifth, communism is as evil as fascism to me personally. A state with overarching power can learn that the tree of liberty is watered by the blood of tyrants. And finally…it’s an ideology that drastically makes life worse for those who have tried it. I’d like for communism be thrown in the bin, like the weird amalgamate ideology we all cringe at from the 1940s because it’s genuinely an ideology I could not bear to live under for a minute.

Yeah - the problem communism and socialism faces is not so much its ideology but rather what is associated with it. The names of socialism and communism have been tarnished so much by authoritarian and capitalist propaganda that it is hard for people to actually see the features of the ideology behind all the vitriol spread around it.
