I once met a relativity senior level official of an IRL country. They showed me the physical stacks of papers they had to read each week. Four of them, piled high on the desk. Because they were attached to the finance office, they had to read every paper that was to go up for formal consideration, because every paper of any policy has to use funds from somewhere.

They've been an inspiration since then to me - if they can manage that, NS is a parody in comparison.

Once someone made a video about asking every single embassy in the world for a flag, which got 5 million views led to tons of other people attempting the same thing.

There was then a follow-up video telling the audience to knock it off with the flag requests. It was actually done at the request of angry embassy workers, since their bosses forced them to read every single email in case one of them was actually important.
