In both of these factbooks, the sentence "Benvegnù nie al-Sàvet Costruires Språkener" is credited to Braussland. But it's not actually. It is in an older version of Norway-Soerian/Lizaksic (LZK), which is one of my conlangs. The second factbook says it was last edited 205 days ago. So the mistake was maybe done then. Or earlier? Idk.
Hm, that's odd..
I've got a small issue with the Kuerhyét as well:
I've since this was submitted switched up a bit on the T-V distinctions on the 2p pronouns, so adien - you in the translation is now in the intimate form; IE the one you only use with your loved ones.. It should be edien, which is more polite. :)
Guess who's back! Long time no see, but Castella has re-arrived!

Good day my friends! This is my new boredom-language, its name is Minankil. Who can recognise what it's based on (lit. who recognise its base)? ;)

Not even close, but I can see certain similarities that could make you think so. :)
Tenté
I tried
I would guess one of the Finnic languages but not sure which one.
My clues:
- Minan and manan = Finnish minun = my
- Kil = Finnish kieli = language / tongue
- Nama = Finnish nimi / Sami namma = name
- Biber = I'm guessing is like Finnish päivä / Estonian päev, based on the translation with the Sami beaivi similar to it
- Minankil = I can translate it to "my language"
Hmm.. Saame / Finnish? If Saame, I'm not sure which one. XD
When I read it, some words were very familiar.
Well, besides from the fact that the Sami languages constitute their own branch of Finno-Ugric and are not regarded as Finnic, you are right of course. XD (I would be disappointed surprised if you weren't - as you're a linguistically inclined native speaker of a fairly closely related language. :) )
This is a creole of davvisámegiella (Northern Sami) (specifically the Sea Sami dialect) on a Norwegian substrate with borrowed elements from Kven and Russian (and possibly also Scandoromani if I manage to justify it historically). The place of origin is Senja in coastal Troms county, where all of these groups did (and somewhat still do) interact irl. All of the words in these examples apart from two are Sami derived. These two are kil - language (from Kven) and gupmi - friends from Norwegian kompis (sg) (where it is a loan from Swedish). The beaivvi -> biber change might be a bit of a stretch sound change wise in this framework, but there are always outliers and weird stuff in irl so.. XD
Minan is actually plural btw, so minankil is our language not just mine. :)
Edit:
I can't be bothered going all proper diachronicy on this, I'd rather just have this as a vague guideline in the back of my head and do with it what feels right. Not even going to define sound changes.
I came up with a new name for the language: Sāsjki (from the North Sami name of Senja: Sážžá) and made a little dispatch of mainly tables so far.
| Singular | Dual | Plural |
1.P | man | mit | mine |
2.P | dī | dit | dine |
3.P human | sin | sit | sine |
3.P inhuman | da | dat | dan |
Only the copula lej - to be - declines by person:
| Singular | Dual | Plural |
1.P | man le - I am | mit le - we two are | mine li - we are |
2.P | dī li | dit li | dine li |
3.P human | sin li | sit li | sine li |
3.P inhuman | da lō | dat lō | dan lō |
There is no overt marking of definite vs indefinite, so a noun like ōmer can mean both a boy and the boy.
Pluralisation of nouns can either follow a weak, irregular or a strong pattern. The weak pattern follows this principle:
Umlaut of initial vowel, gemination of final consonant, suffixation of -i or -e.
Umlaut is predictable by these rules:
ī -> i, ū -> u, ō -> o, ā -> a (shortening of long vowels)
u -> o, o -> a (lowering)
i -> i, e -> e, a -> a (no change).
Gemination is a lengthening of the consonant except in nasals where it is a preocclusion:
gume -> gopmi (friend(s)), nan -> nadne (child(ren)).
The irregular pattern is somewhat unpredictable, but the plural is a clear modification of the singular. Examples:
ōmer -> ombe (boy(s)), nej -> nidde (girl(s)), bīber -> bibe (day(s)), sjaske -> sjaskaj (boat(s)).
The strong pattern is a suppletive form for the plural; ie a different root entirely. Examples:
mān -> albe (man/men), jāri -> sū (lake(s)).
There are four marked nominal cases, marked by suffixation with different forms on singular and plural nouns. Where the plural form of the noun is weak, the singular form of the noun is used with plural marking. Core case markings (absolutive/accusative or similar) are absent and rely on word order S/AV(O). Case marking:
Case | singular marking | plural marking | Example of usage |
Locative | -ses | -sesse | fotses - in (the/a) city, fotsesse - in (the) cities |
Genitive | -(n)an | -(n)anne | mānan sjap - (the) man's hat , albenanne sjappi - (the) men's hats |
Illative | -da | -dadde | jukda - towards (the/a) river, jukdadde - towards (the) rivers |
Comitative | -(n)in | -(n)igge | nejin - (together) with (the) girl, niddinigge - (together) with (the) girls |
The concept of having is expressed by marking the posessor in locative: manses lō sjaske - at me is a boat / I have a boat.

Auruna, Ixilland, and Lower alterac
Oh right. XD
At least my guess is correct.
Dead giveaway for me is kil and minan/manan but I had to look into it deeper. I don't know much Sami, only knew a few during a quick invasion of Lappi.
And I forgot to mention borri = buorre
Ah, close enough lol
Lower alterac and Kuerhyedeenistan
the next step is neo-colonialism
..or he could just leave them be. XD
