The armor clad figure sat silent, the mask preventing any form of emotion being seen. SKarlco looked at him, "I suggest you join us, otherwise we will destroy your race, enslave your survivors, and make sure we purge them from existence slowly and brutally.

It was the vice admiral's turn to be silent. The obvious reality set in now. He stared at his PDA for a moment before typing on it for another few. He then looked up at Skarlco. "This decision will have to be made somewhere that isn't in the middle of a field." He directed the team back into the M851 and walked to it before turning back to the tall creature. "We will... see you shortly," he said and climbed into the passenger seat.

Skarlco blinked, knowing the Alien civilization would probably refuse to be assimilated. He walked back to the Gunship, and began to talk in his native language to his wrist.
"Open fire."

His guards began to fire at the car, while in the moons atmosphere the Alganoan fleet opens fire onto the unsuspecting fleet.

The shielded door held as long as it could before being broken, but the truck was already pulling away by that point. However, several soldiers were wounded, and the vice admiral would eventually be unconscious at one point from the truck rocking too hard. They make it to the ships resting on the ground and board, while machine gun fire ripped back at the Alganoans.

The fleet in atmosphere would suffer immensely. One ship even fell through and plummeted to the ground. 2 other ships were disabled, and their ruins hovered in the high atmosphere. Not wanting to lose any more ships, the vice admiral requests a shield to be put up for the last 3 ships, all being destroyers.

The fleet continues it's assault, with the admiral being airlifted up without his guards. Skarlco would order multiple corvettes to try to ram into the ships.

On the moon, the machine gun fire would take out multiple ALgonians, leaving only 4 surviving, of which, 2 were wounded.

Without a proper offensive mechanism, the ships could only hide behind the shield. The team on the ground packs up and speeds into orbit, trying to get back to the fleet. One soldier was dead, but they weren't leaving the body. Several others were still wounded, and some inside the navy ships were as well. By this point, the UNCEF team relays what the sensors hadn't relayed as they arrive back within their fleet. FLEETCOM scrambled to prepare an offensive for the UNCEF to fall back into.

Around 4 corvettes began to ram themselves into the remaining ships, attempting to destroy them. (I'm assuming the shields are going to repel them)

Skarlco made it to the Flagship, Rhe Gheren, loosely translated to "The Executioner.". He walked towards the bridge, resting in his chair as he injected himself with the life giving medicine he needed to stay alive.

The shields would hold for now. The vice admiral's team reaches the main destroyer-size vessel, named Green Photography, and enter a hangar. Immediately, the vice admiral is rushed to the bridge. He orders for the remaining 3 ships to retreat away from the Alganoans. Slipspace drives begin to activate.

i dunno if i can be active much today

Hearing of the end of the Rothellan Civil War, Derika starts to slowly ramp up military spending, in case the new leader of Rothella is aggressive towards Derika.

Small scouting parties (2 corvettes, and 1 frigate) are sent around the galaxy. (one goes to wherever Alganoa is found btw. im tired and too lazy to look back)

The corvettes suddenly retreat, as a large cruiser begins to almost glow. It almost appeared as if it were charging up a weapon.
(They're probably going to get away before the cruiser fires its weapon.

The party sent to the Alganoan system is immediately attacked, a much larger fleet this time could be seen, this time moving towards Argoth.

The corvettes and frigate put up a small fight, fighting to the last ship, firing ion cannons and their few laser-based weapons

The ships rush into slipspace, and the end of the tunnel comes out to meet their support fleet. They escort them away from the exit location to their home star system of Caspar, which held only 2 planets. The ships arrive on planet Array and are reacquainted quickly. A funeral is held for the dead soldier. While this happens, the UEG and UN receive notice of the 'unknown' contact. National governments scramble to find out as much as they can. Information is not given to the news by the government, and only 2 small leaks occur, but they are dismissed as rumors by most sane civilians.

[earlier when i said they didnt have guns, i meant the ships and vehicles

Derika wrote:The corvettes and frigate put up a small fight, fighting to the last ship, firing ion cannons and their few laser-based weapons

The Corvettes would be swarmed by the massive fleet, green bursts of light originating from the Alganoan laser cannons slammed into the tiny ships, as smaller fighters would kamikaze themselves into them, blowing themselves up with a massive payload of bombs.

Little information is discovered, they find the Algona has a massive empire, boasting many systems, however, it is noted that they aren't able to harvest all the resources in each system, leading to heavy overexpansion. Each scouting attempt is met with fierce resistance.

However.
One small scout ship find its' way to a small planet, on the outskirts of the Empire, finding primitive beings with a small Alganoan station in Orbit. The ship, if it could see the surface of the planet, would find the ALganoan soldiers massacring a village, while if they saw a mining area, hundreds of slaves performing dangerous, and hard work with little to no food, water, and equipment, mining by hand and primitive tools.

It was clear, if the Humans surrendered, they would face total slavery, and untold horrors for the future.

Rothella, under a near starvation crisis, would elect to return under the UN. The tie between Basil and his supporters, and the Sheev council would leave the masses to decide. Basil fires the remaining opposition, with full support from his voters, and a large percentage of his opposition in full support of this action. (They elected to let the people starve, not a lot of people would support them after this). Rothella would send a request to join the UN.

Military spending is on the rise, as Basil foresees inevitable contact with the Alganoans, using the UN reports as justification. New ships are made, as clone production ramps up. Patrols across ROthellan controlled systems would increase, as the pirate situation on Amasa is dealt with swiftly and harshly, with clone marines taking out land targets, and Ship to ship combat destroying much of the pirate bases.

The remaining Frigate sends out a distress signal, and fires a small 'distress pod' (basically when the frigate goes down, the distress signal stays there)

The Stealth Cruiser Absentia would be the one just above. With her engines running just below 30%, she would be virtually invisible, just as the space around it. The crew of the Absentia is horrified at what they find. Using Holo-Drones, they monitor the village massacre. Soon afterwards, they monitor the quarry/mine. The human rights violations and everything else are noted down. The composition and influence scale, including the overexpansion, of Alganoa are also noted down.

Ruth Charet, the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations and the President of the North American Union, asks for Basil Sander to submit an application to the Secretary-General, Mari Hela, and to write a formal letter that states that the nation will accept the obligations and forms under the 1945 Charter.

The procedure is briefly as follows:

  • The State submits an application to the Secretary-General and a letter formally stating that it accepts the obligations under the Charter.

  • The Security Council considers the application. Any recommendation for admission must receive the affirmative votes of 3/5 members of the Council, provided that none of its five permanent members France, the Russian Federation and China within the Frieden Alliance, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and the North American Union have voted against the application.

  • If the Council recommends admission, the recommendation is presented to the General Assembly for consideration. A two-thirds majority vote is necessary in the Assembly for admission of a new State.

  • Membership becomes effective the date the resolution for admission is adopted.

[they elected basil to let the citizens starve?

[also i hate to burst your bubble, but rothella probably wont be accepted to the un due to their use of clones [mortal dictata act]; though they may for some time, either due to the circumstances or if the alganoans attack

Site C and Site 17 are destroyed by those inside before the clones could do much, as they didn't want their source locations or their destinations to be discovered. Those that can evacuate to the Racketeer's Den and ship everything out of it before the clones destroy the space station. Angry that their main pirating source is out of the game, Vonihove looks elsewhere and eyes Ealen IV due to its remote nature.

However, the equipment that was stolen from the Orso system actually turned out to help Vonihove in their fight against Arcadia [see the past post] and obtain several new methods to continue their autarky economy. The military-industrial system continues growing, leading more of the population to have better training and weaponry. "All in the name of Atlas," they'd say.

Derika wrote:The remaining Frigate sends out a distress signal, and fires a small 'distress pod' (basically when the frigate goes down, the distress signal stays there)

The ALganoans allow the pod to stay, as to draw more rescue craft in to destroy. Admiral Moren is stationed with his battle fleet inside the system, while defense platforms are readied and some undergo upgrades as more are produced.

(MFW the UN tries to charge another empire for human rights violations on nonhumans
The Stealth craft technology is unkown to the Alganoans, allowing the stealth cruiser to stay undetected. However, if it were to reveal itself, it would find itself under fire. (They might be able to get away tho, they'd catch the Alganoans by surprise).

(Nono, I meant that the sheev loyalists had voted to let hte people starve, but i was trying to appear smort.

Basil would respond to Ruth, however, protested that the Clones were treated humanely, and given equal rights as the people, providing the Constitution of the Commonwealth as evidence (Gonna work on that later, but it's in there, trust me). He insisted that because of the clones, medical technology in Rothella had improved tremendously. THe phase 1 clones were only able to live for 2 decades, however after much development, the phase 2 clones could now live past 90. Phase 3 clones were expected to live into their 100's on average, however, it would take a century to see if the theory proved to be true. This, in turn, allowed ROthellans to live longer. Clone Virus Troopers would allow troops with high resistance to most viruses (but die in theirBasil asked if Rothella could join the UN with the clone army, that they would offer up clones any number of clones for peacekeeping whenever the situation required, and to share any and all current medical technology produced by Cloning across the UN. He pleaded that hte UN revised the Mortal Dictata act.

(So, basically here are the CLone's rights:
They have to serve a ten year service to the military, 10 years of development, and 8 years of training (That's why their trained, and ensures Rothella isn't using Child Soldiers)
At the age of 28 (Or whenever they end their service) they are given 100,000 Ruros, not including those they earned for their honorable service
Any prejudice against the Clones is meet with harsh punishment. Crimes of Racism against clones is punishable by death
Clone soldiers are given 3 months garrison time, basically vacation on a planet near a garrison.
Clone veterans are given free medicare, and are given a monthly check of 1,000 Ruros until their death.
(Obvious WIP, but that's what I have atm

Basil also points out the need for a large military after the Alganoan attacks, and promises to support any and all UN engagement possible if the UN allows ROthella and it's army to rejoin. He promises more regulations for cloning processes, and more safeguards for clone veterans after service.
