As they hadn't been classed as any kind of threat yet, the operators of the Racketeer's Den decide to set it up as a small trading point, seeing the interest. Small amounts of supply from non-Vonihovean forces are taken and loaded with the Vonihovean ships to be taken to Atlas Vigilance. The staff inside the station seemed to have an extreme distaste for anyone who didn't work there.
A gunship opens fire on a Rothellan patrol.
The trading point is asked for building permissions, however, the officials could probably have been bribed.
The patrol, three corvettes, begins to return fire, however, the crews are unused to fighting. If enough damage, is given, they'd likely flee.
The eclipsed star reaches out to Redwood, sending Star Group 3 as an envoy to the mercenary group. With the goal of forming an alliance together against Rothella.
[me when i get busy doing schoolwork instead of focusing on this
They bribe the officials to stay there. However, the officials could say the crew was terrible at cooperation.
The gunship crew, also being inexperienced, would hardly land accurate hits on the corvettes. Despite this, their hulls would receive large amounts of damage in separate areas. The gunship breaks off eventually.
[wrong nation i believe ^
The corvettes, fearing possible reinforcements, retreat from the area. They don't report the incident, as to not get embarrassed.
The gunship returns to the Racketeer's Den for repairs. The Den, having grown a bit in its operating ability, would complete the repairs after some time. More Vonihovean soldiers are sent to the space station. The station wasn't self-sustaining yet, so supplies back to Atlas Vigilance are cut a bit to allow the influx of soldiers to have food, etc.
Patrols are upped in the area, with a small fleet protecting the trading outpost from the raiders (that gunship).
[the gunship came from the den, which is the outpost basically
Well Rothella doesn't know that
[ohhh i see what u mean
i just thought u legit didnt know they were different
(Oh no, the system is very corrupt, and very inexperienced fleets/military. THe only guys who know what they're doing are the clone garrison.
More assets are stolen from Amasa. However, one incident would be different. In a large city port, an air patrol could visibly see a hijacked ship.
The Dark star army group is repelled, and large counter attacks are made by the clone garrison, now assisted by the Red Fleet.
The police begin to chase the ship, ordering it to halt.
Gunfire would strike police boats.
The police boats, lightly armored, would likely fall after multiple hits. Backup is called in, as the media begins to cover the chase
The hijackers, realizing they can't go anywhere, decide to turn the ship to another port. Close to the port, the ship appears to have no intention of stopping itself.
Police ships, seeing this, order the evacuation of personal and citizens in the area, and try to shoot down/ram into the hijacked ship.
The ship, being a large cargo ship, would face no resistance from the ramming. Gunning attempts are met with return fire.
