MARSHAL LAW DECLARED IN CHIAPAS, FATALITIES & SKIRMISHES REPORTED!?

We have reports coming in just hours after Mexican President Gabriel Rodrigo emergency meeting being held with his cabinet here in Mexico City. Congress has passed an emergency resolution in regards to the widespread reports of civil unrest in the state of Chiapas, which has effectively placed the state into marshal law. Effectively federalizing state and local law enforcement, including other emergency services. Including a curfew which has been authorized by the federal government and will be enforced by the military. Any citizens within the state limits of Chiapas caught outside between 7 PM and 7 AM maybe subjected to arrest without due process unless ordered otherwise until marshal law has been suspended.

A no fly zone was temporarily established over the airspace in Chiapas with reports of several helicopters belonging to emergency personnel taking shots from the streets below in several of the rebel occupied townships of Tuxtla Guiterrez and Zinacantan. Currently Mexican troops from the Army at around 55,000 troops including 10,000 members of the Mexican Maritime Search and Rescue & the Coast Guard being called up for potential combat against between 1 and 3,000 armed militants which have taken over 8 of the 9 cities in Chiapas, excluding Palenque which remains in the hands of private pro government militia groups.

The President of Mexico has made numerous attempts to negotiate with the commander of the EZLN, which has reportedly kidnapped several state lawmakers, including a number of law enforcement officers and other government employees with the organization with talks of setting up documentation regarding a possible declaration of independence and rule of law within the occupied cities. According to reports from government officials who were able to flee the state had reported that air drops were being made in the government held city of Palenque. Where the military has been setting up a forward operations facility with helicopters and cargo planes seen landing and taking off ever 10 minutes. Over 50 people were killed by EZLN militants, 43 being police officers including 7 bystanders during the initial uprising. Including an additional 200 being killed in total thus far from battles between EZLN fighters and police.

The Mexican government hours ago already denouncing the uprising as violent is setting up for combat as communication between the federal government & EZLN has effectively stalled. The Mexican President has stated for those who are within the effected state to obey the enforced curfew, and to remain indoors for the meantime until the order has been lifted. Though conflicting reports suggest that there are private citizens who have open fired at militants who were patrolling the streets in the cities of Tenejapa and Yaxchilan. Reports not listing any fatalities though a moderate number of people have been wounded with the military advising citizens to not engage rebel forces. Despite the warnings however, reports of skirmishes are still being made from in and around the rebel held cities.

In the surrounding states of Oaxaca, Veracruz, Tabasco, and Campeche have dispatched law enforcement and other agents towards the Chiapas border, including private paramilitary forces reportedly setting up positions along the Chiapas border despite advisories from the federal government and the military from entering the state. Meanwhile within the government held city of Palenque, due to a shortage of police which were reportedly attempting to establish positions around one of the nationally protected monuments from rebel control with skirmishes occurring on and off within the specific area. They have sworn in over 300 private citizens as peace officers as they begin to aid police in assisting in defenses and keeping law and order within the only government held city. Additional reports of private militias being setup inside the city in defiance against not only the government, but also in defiance against the EZLN, though the military has not commented further in regards to the situation.

President Megawati "A pleasure to meet you, Mr. Chairman"

Chairman Nguyen stood up from his throne and shook President Megawati’s hand, before taking a seat and gesturing for her to do so too.

Chairman Nguyen: The honour is mine also, I trust that your journey allowed you to see Hanoi? How do you like it here?

Spetsnaz attack in Nukus, Uzbek SSR

Today an attack was carried out at the small Red Army Training Base just outside of Nukus in the Uzbek SSR, a Base under the Command of General Kazakov Benedikt Nikolayevich. It is two weeks now since the attempted murder against General Petrov, and the KGB had been hard at work to identify the source of the intruders and Commander which had dispatched them. They were able to confirm by the Serial Numbers on Weaponry and Equipment used, the Unit to which they were assigned a mere year before the date of the attack.

By additionally checking each area of Deployment by Unit as laid out in Red Army Documents, they were able to find out that General Nikolayevich had been redeployed there with a small Unit of VDV, to whom the AS Vals and Night Vision were issued. It was found that the Unit had been formed at the same time that General Nikolayevich had taken command of them, therefore making it apparent that he had molded them towards his own political views over time.

The 330th Special Purpose Detachment consisting of 42 Spetsnaz Operatives was inserted near the location by multiple Mi-24s, while overhead two Tu-300 UAVs and a single MiG-25RBV Recon Aircraft with orders to issue updates on occurances based on high level Footage.

Activity at the Camp was recorded to be low, with only 112 Men stationed there at the time due to the small size of the Base. The Unit had been greenlit to eliminate all present personell, as it is believed that most if not all of those stationed there were in some way involved in the attack.

In only twelve minutes, the 330th Special Purpose Detachment was able to eliminate all Personell on site with only two wounded taken in return. Footage way being fed to the Kremlin, albeit not live, where Comrade Petrov along with loyal Generals oberved the operation, toasting to the success of the attack with vodka.

3 Civilians from the local Town were confirmed killed by post-OP sweep of the area, two men 40 years in age and a woman aged 31. It is believed these were personal relatives of the Soldiers working at the Base.

Over Moscow Radio it was declared that the attack was carried out by Islamic seperatists in the area, and announced the names of the Civilians who had been killed. This was done to massively reduce support for independence in the area, as almost all of the Troops at the Base except the General of course, were locals.

Because despite China's willingness to go become the very thing they wish to destroy; imperialism... they clearly do not do it in order to consolidate solely their power. They choose to have specific allies because they are willing to work with them in order to grow themselves and each other. While China may be having an unsteady alliance with Indochina inorder to consolidate China's power, they are also willing to do anything for Indochina because they are their ally. Therefore, Indochina and China build each other up. The same could be very easily said for you if you choose China and the Council of Asia. You'd probably be granted claims to land and take part in any future planning."

    | LAKSHMI N. MITTAL, PREMIER OF INDIA: | "I say, meet with President Xi. Talk to him about what to expect with an alliance between Malaysia and China. And determine what's next. Because China and the Council of Asia are your best bet."

President Karpal Singh “Yes, yes I see your point, Premier Mittal, and I understand it quite well. I have no problem with meeting President Xi in an attempt to find a common understanding, but I have my doubts, China has a history of having no regard for international law. Its human rights abuses are plenty, and intervention with its armed forces across the world using farcical pretenses, not unlike the United States is done regularly.” Karpal sighs. “How am I to tell my people that we have aligned ourselves with what is frankly a reprehensible country with the same mouth which has time and time again attacked a similarly barbaric power in Washington? I will be seen as a hypocrite, my country will be seen as hypocritical!”

The Brexit Party on 29 seats are now the largest single party in the European Parliament.

They are ahead of the CDU on 28 seats.

We got 2. Also the party of Varoufakis you were asking about got 1.

You ever flesh out all your arguments in an essay, use as many references as you can to back them up

Sit back and go "well, I'm done"

Then realise you're still several hundred words off the word limit?

That happened 20 minutes ago as I hit the deadline

Its nice to see that in the district elections, no Golden Dawner got a higher precentage than the KKE representatives. Most were in the 1 to 2 seats range while we were in the 3-5 seats range.

In the whole of the EU or just Greece for Varoufakis?
