| 1996 AD | QUEBEC | PARIZEAU RETURNS TO MONTREAL | MONTREAL | OCTOBER 9th |
- | Despite all odds, Jacques Parizeau has made a meteoric return to Montreal. Unexpectedly, when his vehicle was met by Montreal Police, he was not arrested on the spot. Instead, he was escorted by the police to a podium in the city square. As he triumphantly exited his vehicle, an incredibly large crowd of 100,000 was there to see him speak. The legendary Jacques Parizeau waved to the people as he walked up to the podium. The fleur-de-lis was flown proudly, absent of the red stripes and red corner. He reached the podium and rose his two fists in the air as he proudly shouted; |
- | JACQUES PARIZEAU, ACTIVIST: | "Vive le Québec libre!"
- | As the crowd erupted into applause, people started waving their own Quebecois flags. He clapped his own hands, applauding the audience. Cheers and shouts echoed throughout the city. Blue balloons flew throughout the city sky as more and more people gathered and exited their vehicles. |
- | JACQUES PARIZEAU, ACTIVIST: | "People of Quebec. I, well you know who I am. Today marks a significant day in our history. Thousands upon thousands of people from the great city of Montreal have come to see an end be brought to this horrid regime. Throughout our history we have valued our freedom, our Liberty and most especially our heritage. By neglecting these three key principles of our country; Liberty, freedom and culture, We have allowed for the established order to turn into a hard left communist regime. We allowed for our government to turn into some sort of Cesspool of bureaucracy and oppression. We brought this on to ourselves. nobody else! We did this to us. Nobody, and I mean nobody has the willpower that the Quebec people do. Like true heroes we have stood the test of time. We have stood up to the oppressive class, and we will continue to stand up to this oppression until we are finally freed. Take to the streets again my people. Do not stop until the regime is put to an end. The premier should have resigned almost a year ago today. And he neglected to do so and therefore he has neglected our will as a people as a proud Nation. I just simply hope that God has not forsaken our nation. But he looks upon the protesters and rioters that are out here today and says “Finally! They are awakened! My loves!”!I know it is beyond wishful thinking to believe that we can stand unified on this day. But look at the results! We have come out here today to finally bring to an end something that is plagued us all. We have decided to destroy the virus that is communism and bring down the Quebec City tyrant! I have had it. You have had it. And it is finally time that we squish any hope that a Communist Regime will be allowed to prosper in our Great Northern State. Europe, North America, Asia, Australia, South America; hear the call of Quebec. we promised a proud return to the global stage. And we will return to the global stage not bearing any red on our flag. We bear only the great blue and white fleur de lis."
- | Cheers are heard from the crowd. |
- | JACQUES PARIZEAU, ACTIVIST: | "These are dark times that we Face ahead of us. We will have to reinvent and reinvigorate an economy that has been brought down the path of centralization for so many decades. I am not the type of man to make plans before I have certainty ahead of me. But when I look upon this crowd out here today and I see all of the thousands and thousands of Quebecois who are willing to show themselves to the Communist Regime under threat of death, I can do nothing but happily look towards the future, people. Mighty people, you have provided this Old Man with New Hope. And I thank you for that wholly.I see some familiar faces out here today. People are part of the same political organization that I hail to today. And I see plenty of people in this crowd today who have at one point declared me some sort of false communist. my part in the regime was an important part, yes. But I have this to say to you all today. For the second time I renounce all ties to the regime that I once had. I regret to inform all of you that yes I did play a pinnacle role in the regime and its existence. However I will admit to you all today that there is nothing more horrifying than realizing that your life's work is something that you never wanted to create. Something that you never thought you would be a part of. I look back on my time in government and I weep. I weep because I know that there are countless lives that have been ruined by the actions that I have decided to do. Entire foreign governments have looked upon me and perhaps thought that I was just another one of the blatant evil red communists. And while at one point yes I would have considered myself to be some sort of communist, I no longer consider myself to be one of them. I stand too firmly in the belief that all people are created equal. And that all people deserve the same rights and Liberties that God has afforded to them. I simply wish to see my country, my land, my beautiful state to finally be free. I want to see it Fly Away from communism and never look back. I will not say that the state itself nor the actual land has been tainted by communism. But I know that the minds and the will of the people have been tainted. I look upon the people in this crowd and I see tears in people's eyes. I see tears in your eyes, ma'am. You Weep For the same country I do. You Weep For the same cause that I weep for. We weep because we know. The United States of Paramountica, The Regno d'Italia of Arcanda, The Republic of Panem of Enchanted Oasis, The Hungarian People's Republic of Pontianus, Sisuvia, these states have perhaps at one point been threatened by communism in an exterior fashion. But they have never had to deal with Communism holding their Homeland. And this is why we are much more equipped and ready and willing to deal with Communism than they are. I don't want to hear anybody speak about communism if they do not understand the true struggle of it. When I hear rumors of what occurs in China, and when I hear rumors of what occurs in The Yugoslavia of Ranponian, and when I hear rumors of what occurs even in places like Bomoko of all God forbidden places oh, I just I feel, I feel for them I understand what they're going through. And in all truth I really wish I hadn't. However I realize that the strength of our people is understanding and knowing what true struggle is. What we have here gathered today is a formidable force. One that I don't think the regime is willing to take on. which is why, I want to ask you all to do one more thing on my behalf. I want us to March. I want us to march to Quebec City. Not tomorrow, not after lunch, now. Who will stand with me!"
- | Audible "oui's" can be heard from the crowd. |
- | JACQUES PARIZEAU, ACTIVIST: | "Then! Let us go! To Quebec City! To the Premier!"

The government of La Plata warns the Brazilian government to stay on their side of the border, as their action could be dangerous for Uruguayans and also Platinian forces deployed or to be deployed.
This is an operation handled only by La Plata and a foreign intervention will be seen as a threat to the nation and consequent actions will be taken
Ooc: don’t forget I was approved to expand in Uruguay by the cartography council and if you mess too much with this rp, I’ll have to act militarily against your forces as you’ll have invaded my land
EDIT: Uruguay is guaranteed since 1991 and an intervention in Uruguay, against their government’s wishes, will be an act of war against Uruguay and La Plata, therefore NATO also
