The President Plan
It was chaotic seven days in Kossmil and in Dabatta ever since the assassination of President Mikhail Kuznetsov and with Nikolai Cherdenko taking over as President, he been to the state funeral of his old friend and after he also reorganised his cabinet as there will some who would refuse working with him and he need people he can trust. currently in the parliament building people were hurrying around the place carrying important documents and Nikolai was the only few who are walking and he has a notebook at his side. President Nikolai Cherdenko walked into the presidential office where there was a camera set getting ready. He walked over to what used to belong to his old friend, the Presidential desk, he sat down at the desk.
“Everything ready?” he asked as he placed the notebook on the desk, looking at the camera crew getting the camera for his address to the people of Kossmil, he will explain his plans going forward for the country to the people. “About ready soon, Mr President.” One of the cameramen said as the camera then started to aim at Cherdenko, Nikolai opened his notebook quickly onto the page he got ready for today and for a big reveal he has for the people. He took off his glasses and he started to clean the lens quickly, when finish cleaning he put his glasses back on and looked at the camera, Nikolai took a deep breath as he then signal the camera crew to start the countdown.
When the countdown reached down to one, he took a deep breath as he now lived in front millions of Kossmilian. “Hello everyone, it has been a tough couple of days with the tragic loss of our old president, my old friend Mikhail Kuznetsov. But we must stand in unity and move forward to the next step of our journey, I will outline my plans for this country, step by step.” Nikolai then turns the next page on his notebook, he looks back at the camera and says, “I will introduce some new taxes. A religious tax for places of worship it’s extended to all religions, taxes for businesses or corporations will increase by extra five. I will also introduce taxes on tobacco on later date, it the same for alcohol.” he glanced down at his notes then back to looking at the camera.
“Now on to our foreign policy, we want to work more within TAFCA, honesty TAFCA has great potential to represent all of Adula if all countries on the continent joined, it will give all of us, a bigger say on the world stage. Now I will now reveal that Kossmil has joined the Trans Toyana Prosper Alliance, I know that Kuznetsov don’t really want this but I believe this for the best in our country.” Cherdenko said as he turned the next page, he glanced down on the page then looked at the camera “Now onto the final part, I will start an initiative to improve the roads and the railways in Kossmil. It will create more jobs for the people and It will make things a lot easier for the people commuting across this nation and it will also help trading with the TAFCA member countries.” he said as then he quickly glanced at his notebook.
“Now I would like to talk more about Mikhail Kuznetsov, first of all he was a friend and we have been through a lot together before Kossmil was founded. For being in the navy most of his life, he sure knows how to lead a nation through some tough times, I will continue his journey in his memory and also for all of the people that fell, from soldiers dying in battle when Kossmil wasn’t a nation to people dying in the metro bombing attacks. We will not give up, we must stand strong as one and move forward together, strength through fire and steel. Thank you all for watching this.” He said with a small smile as the camera then stopped recording him live and the camera crew started clapping, Cherdenko then leaned back on his chair and sighs lightly as he knows he has a lot of work to do.

Prime Minister Lynne Bushore has introduced a new parliamentary investigation into the sinking of a Relic Star Cruise Liner, the SOCS Myrian Rock, in the Northern Olympic Ocean this morning. The ship relayed a mayday signal shortly past midnight after reporting a swell of water filling lower compartments. The 1,220 people on board were hustled into lifeboats and gained safe distance from the sinking vessel, but there are at least 6 confirmed deaths and dozens more who are missing. The Myrian Rock sank in shallow water, and dive crews are already working recovery efforts.
"Today is a tragic and sad day for the people of Saint Offeat," PM Bushore said in a statement following the introduction of the investigation. "The Myrian Rock's passengers consisted of everyday people from all over our nation and around the world. We will get to the bottom of this horrific incident."
At least one of the passengers who is marked as missing aboard the vessel was international, being a native of Kyti. Other governments are investigating and cooperating to see whether any of their nationals were lost when the ship sank.
It is believed at this time that earlier repairs to the waste disposal system had not been completed, which meant that a vital ventilation pipe which ran through the watertight aft bulkhead and the non-return valves was not replaced. It is believed that after a series of freak waves slammed against the ship, the pipe's shell plating burst open and began filling the compartment with seawater.

The ship listed and the bow of the ship eventually sank at 6:22 am. The wreck lies at a depth of between 92 m (302 ft) and 97 m (318 ft), about 5 km (3.1 mi) offshore. As of this morning, the ship is resting on the ocean floor with the stern submerged at a higher elevation than the bow.

Vienna Joins World Assembly
Chancellor Derex Brabus addressed the nation to inform the Nationale Republik, and the world, that we've finally made it into the World Assembly. "It is with this revelation that we finally and definitely intend to get out there as best we can, working with other nations and our great community to keep us all secure and strong," the new Chancellor stated in his televised address. De Yuan company completes construction of Janapa port
Janapa - A Yuaneze company has cmpleted construction on one of the largest container ports in the world in Janapa. Several Zamastanian military experts say that the activities of Vana Ampoa Limited, a Shanghan-based conglomerate, pose a significant risk to Zamastan national security. According to the manager, the runway is capable of handling the world's largest cargo and military aircraft.
On 800 acres of wooded land adjacent to the airport, Vana Ampoa plans to create the Grand Janapa Sea-Air Business Center - a center that could potentially allow for 8 million square feet in warehouse space.
