To change the flag, go to Settings and scroll down to National Flag. As for your cancer concern, I recommend choosing issues that improve your environment and add public health spending.

Man, our "forums" haven't been used since, like, forever ... but they do have nice stories in them. Check out the link in the region description. I'm not sure if anybody still has admin rights there. We can make another forum, with present nations, and make a map and place it there. Volunteers?
I should be getting us ready for another Copa CenEuropa / MittelEuropaPokal / Közép-európai Kupa (add your own translation here). Anybody interested in hosting it? Salo did it last year, so they're spared the expense ;p
And, it needs be mentioned, Huszt is in second place today in CE! so unless today is opposite day, I should be getting some points, no?

Looking at the memberlist I see one ximinez. I cannot remember if that was an old nation of yours. Its a name I havent seen in years.

It is I, Delegate Emeritus. For those of you who know not who I am, I have a long storied history in this region (and I just remembered my password). I served as delegate a few times in this region. I was here for the Golden Age of our great region: the reign of Ultrasilvania. I was here for the great invasion of 2006. I was here for the invasion of 2008. I caused a rift in our region when I ejected South Norfair, resulting in many nations leaving for The Island Continent. I have matured significantly during that time, and I hope that we all can work on making Central Europe awesome again.
Also, my "friend" Ameris (my evil puppet) emailed a few of the older players via email addresses found on the CE forum. I still however would like to find the email address for SteamEngine.

I found an active nation from the Odense era (pre-Salo's formation). I sent him a PM to ask if he could give us any info about the time in CN before Salo. Lets hope time hasn't faded his memory.

No, the Cardinal (or, in fact, the Cardinals, as we had also Biggles at some point) were not my puppets, yet they were good friends (well, not irl, in game I mean).

We all played good parts, contentious isn't the issue. Believe it or not, I don't even fault Lupus, or that Nordique scoundrel, they all made CE go forward, they were creating exciting times! I guess personally I only feel unhappy about Leocardia :) if you guys remember her (I think it was a she ...). If ever there was betrayal of trust, that was it. But that also added to the mystique of the region.
I remember the Leocardia episode (and yes she is a she). I recently sent her a telegram telling her all was forgiven, that that happened 10 years ago and she is welcome back here in CE. We gotta let bygones be bygones and Make Central Europe Awesome Again (MCEAA)[I am no Donald Trump supporter, just parodying his campaign motto].
I do like that idea about a region map. Any volunteers?
I am happy to report that, on top of being the most devout and thus gaining a truckload of points today in NotM, my nation reached the 7 billion milestone. Can you believe it, 7 beellion obnoxious, charmless, rude Husztians? Ha.
And, yes, we need a map, and I admit my poor artistic skills. I can do numbers, but no paintings ... so somebody else has to do it.
