You are not even making any sense. Neither pharmaceutical companies nor politicians had anything to do with clinical trials.

No. You live in society - you abide by its rules.

Ignorant and immoral. It's like pointing out that the murder victim had comorbidities. Totally irrelevant, and the clear implications are immoral.

More pointless reeeing in place of a rebuttal, and an apples-to-oranges comparison.

Sad.

Corruption existing doesn't make sense? If you seriously believe the pharmaceutical industry had no say on the results of the clinical trial, you need to lay off the dope.

Gelth confederacy wrote:See, you're once again mocking a countering opinion on face value. Rather than rebuttaling.

Why are you even in this region if you're not interested in neither discourse, nor capitalism?

Sorry, but absurd opinions should be mocked, not rebutted.

Not if those rules are government overreach based on overblown hysteria.

Once again, comorbidities are irrelevant. Covid was the cause of death. The death would not have happened without Covid.

I don't believe - I frigging know. Because I've worked in Health Economics and Outcomes Research for two decades. And had to pass (with 100% passing grade) numerous tests on the rules for clinical trials. Pharmaceutical companies don't even know trial outcomes until hours (at most - or even no time at all) before they are publicly known.

Gelth confederacy wrote:Not if those rules are government overreach based on overblown hysteria.

Regardless. Because who's to decide that something is "based on overblown hysteria"?!

Gelth confederacy wrote:Said every person ever who doesn't even have a rebuttal.

Seriously?! Everybody knows that vaccine works. I read serious papers in the Lancet with the analysis of country-scale real world data. But no, I'm not going to provide citations, because such opinions deserve only mockery, not rebuttal.

Technically true, and we all know how mercilessly technocratic you are, but not completely fair as far as responsible reporting is concerned.
A. It behooves health professionals to point out, using morbid obesity as one example, that the systemic respiratory compromise of that particular condition did make a 100 pound overweight patient's treatment regimen significantly more complex, and terminal.
So if you are overweight, you may want to address that condition along with the rest of your mitigation efforts to minimize your mortality.
B. It is completely irresponsible, and intellectually dishonest for the government to use a morbidly obese patient struggling in an ICU as the median example of a Covid patient in a PSA.

Established law and tradition, sure.
But it does not get to get away with turning itself inside out and upside down on a whim because a few elements of it wants to capitalize on peoples fear and anxiety.

And they have earned a very strong reminder of that from society for the next several election cycles.

For those of you who still believe President Trump was a Russian stooge, reality is closing in.

Meanwhile, for American mothers struggling to properly feed their babies because federal law requires that the children of marauders and interlopers takes precedent, and Amazon Canada has given you the finger as well, I would suggest a brief vacation in Tijuana to volunteer as a drug mule, then walk back over the border where border patrol agents will guide you to facilities to receive comprehensive care a middle class citizen can hardly afford insurance for.

Also, because the Democrats do not have a real argument, VP Harris has begun making the ridiculous assertion that an overturning of Roe v Wade will usher in the roll back of freedom of choice and use of contraception, and even gay marriage which is not even a related issue, to play on the reactionary tendencies of the extreme left.

You prove yourself to be a mean-spirited bigot with every passing second. The icing on the cake is admitting to it.
As I've said before, don't you have better things to do?

Since when have you cared about statistics, hypocrite? Outright, might I add- for all to see in the RMB.

If I listed all of my qualifications you could identify me with a Google search.
Suffice, currently a semi-retired surgical prosthetist and consultant to the company that manufactures artificial juvenile hearts.

Midlands wrote:Seriously?! Everybody knows that vaccine works.

The "vaccine" contains no covid living, weakened or dead. It does nothing to stop transmission or infection of covid. At best it shows promise as a preemptive therapy. Any long term effects are unknown. It will be a years before an authoritative statistical analysis is available.

It is pointless to debate because you are willfully ignorant. I never saw any PSAs, but on July 15 of last year the Lancet published a seminal paper on long Covid that definitely passed the statistical smell test.

Trump was and still is a Russian stooge. That's a fact. Durham's lame attempt to prove otherwise is truly pathetic. I'm very glad that Merrick Garland did not fire him (even though it was an obvious witch hunt at taxpayers' expense) but instead allowed him to make a fool of himself.
