Happy Martin Luther King Day! 🕯️

MLK was a truly remarkable man, and he should be remembered not only for his civil rights activism, resulting in the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Voting Rights Act of 1965, but also for his advocacy for the poor and for renters, as well as his opposition to war.
His struggle was radical, but as of yet, remains sadly unfinished, with coercion and blackmail by US intelligence agencies making things ever harder for him. This MLK day, we must remember that the noble ideals he fought for still have yet to be achieved and that it is our job as the living to carry on this fight.
