That's probably a common denominator across the Commonwealth.

Indian English varies a lot. Some accents I find easy to follow, others really hard.

What I think is a key problem for me is that a lot of Indian languages have a syllable rhythm rather than grammatical stress (as in British and Canadian English). That affects the speech patterns for people from the relevant parts of India, and I get lost trying to find the pattern I am used to.

Some variants are really wacked. Good luck. :)

Hello, fellow Canadians. I come to you today to ask you a simple question: would you shame someone for having socialist ideals? Depending on who you are, most of you would say no, because hopefully of you are great people. But what the Security Council of the World Assembly is doing is disturbing. A region known as the Land of Kings and Emperors is being condemned for no reason other than having imperialist ideals. Is that wrong? No, it is not. Those who wish to strike down one of the longest standing and influential regions in the world do it simply because they want to shape the world to how they want it. That is simply not how it works. I politely ask you to vote AGAINST the current Security Council Resolution. Thank you for your time.

LKE are not being condemned for their ideals, but because they are raiders. We should know - they were part of the crew which raided Canada a few years back. The ideals are sometimes used in an attempt to excuse the raiding, but in that context they do not hold water.

Read the instances quoted in the resolution, or take a wider look at their history, then make your own minds up. As far as I am concerned they are enemies of Canada, and of democracy in general. They thoroughly deserve to be condemned. I urge you all to vote FOR this one.

I felt such a strong indignation when I read the condemnation proposal that I HAD to rejoin the WA and vote FOR it. I can't believe so many oppose this resolution!

You know, that's a great question. Probably because of universal healthcare and i'm pretty sure I got an issue which resulted in state funded college too. I ignore that and most other stats except for civil rights, political freedom, and the economy, because those are what classifies your nation. I want it to be as free as possible without anarchy.
